Best food I've had in Kent. Great portion sizes, variety and lovely friendly staff. Couldn't recommend this enough.

Very good experience. The Papermakers must be under new management, as this was a much better experience than last time a couple of years back. Very helpful and pleasant staff, lovely ambience and food tastefully presented. Very good value for money, I will come again. Thank you.

We were warmly greeted by Rachel. From the time we got there the service was fantastic. Given time to look at the menu and time in between courses. Well the food was the best Pub food I’ve had in a long time. Beautifully served . Great value. Will definitely be going back .

As always, the service at the papermaker’s arms was fantastic. Very attentive staff who made our experience an enjoyable one. Unfortunately the food wasn’t as good as our previous visits which was quite disappointing, however the service made up for this.

Another excellent meal at this treasure of a place. Very impressed with Covid19 measures, great friendly service and the food was first class. Venison Haunch melted in the mouth and the celeriac mash was a delicious accompaniment. Dessert of pear & hazelnut tart with ginger sauce & marmalade ice cream - heaven. Cant wait to go back.

A small selection on the menu which is always a sign that it's going to be good. We weren't disappointed. Both meals were superb. Decent wines and ales on off and all competitively priced. Capped off with polite and friendly service.

Nice atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff. Reasonably priced for such good quality food. We now need another excuse to treat ourselves soon. We will be back.

I ate here about five years ago - it was good then, but it's even better now. Impressive menu and the cod I ordered was delicious. It hasn't forgotten it's a pub either, so there was a good selection of beers on tap.

TO SEE THEM UP AND RUNNING AGAIN. LOVELY FOOD AND FRIENDLY STAFF.
THE ONLY THING THAT WOULD IMPROVE IT FOR ME WOULD BE THE CHOICE OF
PIPED MUSIC. BACKROUND MUSIC IS FINE BUT SONGS ARE SO
DISTRACTING WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO HAVE A CONVERSATION.

The food is outstanding, good selection of wine and good beer. The staff are very friendly and efficient and Rachael is always very welcoming.

Excellent as always and we felt very safe with distancing and cleaning - definitely recommended for any age.

My wife and I Popped in for a Sunday lunch last weekend, all the corona virus measures were in place and a decent menu was offered, we both opted for the roast, my wife the lamb and me the mixed, both reasonable priced. We both enjoyed our meal very much, I would highly recommend eating here, best to book as it was busy. We also enjoyed our walk around the surrounding areas, great views and lots to see.

We had a great meal. Lovely food and drinks, in an extremely friendly environment. Most ingredients are locally sourced, and chatting to the chef afterwards, he was keen to have our comments. Well done Papermakers team.
