We had an amazing experience at Paperfish. The food was amazing and so were the drinks! Really recommend going for happy hour. The restaurant was beautiful and the ambience was everything. Our waiter, Juan, was super nice and treated us very well. 10/10 experience!!!
First off, they change $10 for a side of rice- And the main dishes like fish don’t come with any side at all which is absurd.
We tried the truffle salmon crispy rice, couldn’t taste the truffle (for $16 they should put shavings on top or something to make the flavor pop) and the rice was way over cooked.
Didn’t get further than appetizers as we decided to go elsewhere.
My girlfriend and I had such a great time. The food was amazing!
Waiter poorly trained and systems problems was a bad combination, food was super delayed, drinks came way after the first round. The food was delicious without a doubt!
Great experience! Beautiful place! Bao’s so good
Great night out with the girls! The place was well decorated!
The music was too loud for a Sunday diner it was hard to have a conversation. The waiter didn't pay attention to our table didn't bring menuand plates for all until we ask for it and also our drinks that we order first take longer that the food.
Wow wow! Outstanding service, food and ambiance!!
Everything was wonderful. The ambience, the food, the drinks and service.
Very cute place, food came out very fast. Good place to hang out with friends or a date, and talk over some sushi and drinks. Could be a little loud but it’s a good ambiance.
Looks better on pictures. The food is so so. Overpriced like almost everything in Miami. If you have never been there you will probably get lost trying to find the entrance, is in in small parking lot where you can never imagine that there is a restaurant. Server was very nice, actually he was the best of all.
Expected much more based on the pictures posted on IG.
Menu is pretty easy, so don’t expect any over elaborate rolls or nigiri.
The fry rice is too simple that paying $22 for a small portion of it just doesn’t feel right. The nigiri was very bland and lame, no explosion of flavors. The crispy Tuna was sent back as the rice was half cooked, no golden crisp color or taste.
After a $160 bill for 2 drinks and some basic sushi pieces and rice, we left completely unsatisfied. KYU for example will rack the same bill and every single plate is a work of art.
Don’t believe everything that is posted on IG or Tik Tok
Worst service I’ve experienced in Miami thus far. My friends boyfriend called the manager ahead to request and pay for a bottle of champagne and a chocolate lava cake. None of that was communicated to our server. I ended up having to order it all myself and ruin the surprise. And pay for it on our bill instead of through her boyfriend. We sat for 20 minutes evite anyone even bc some to offer us water. It took another 30 for our drinks to arrive. Our server was disinterested in helping us. We also could barely here her over the noise level from the DJ (which was so weird btw). We had to request the check 3 times. The food was good but that service alone would make me not want to return.
The service was terrible. Extremely slow, we were completely abandoned by our server.
Excellent experience. Second time going. Loved every bit of it.
Amazing experience, everything was great!
Very energetic and youthful, had an amazing night!
Great sushi and not expensive
Definitely will come back with my friends
Beautiful restaurant, mediocre food, terrible service. Drinks were good, service was atrocious, and the food has a lot of room for improvement. Crispy rice was cold. Challenge to get soy sauce for rolls. Staff very poorly trained. Nigiris were good. Good sake selection.
Service was great, food was solid and drinks were good. Cool place but just a little hard to find
Misleading menu online. Went because it claimed to be gluten friendly, but most of those claims were false. The service sucked too. Food takes forever. The food is ok. The place sucks overall.
VERY GOOD PLACE, I LOVE THE FOOD AND THE AMBIANCE !
Amazing food, great ambiance for both date night & friends.
Very good sushi and good service
Very nice place! Will return!
Food was fair - rolls lacked textural variety so most were homogeneously soft. Fish tasted fresh however. Watched the drink I ordered twice languish at the bar for 8 minutes before finally flagging another server to bring it to me.
The worst part was the smell of the Fabuloso cleaner used on the tables between customers. I can’t think of a more off-putting smell on a dining table.
This was fine if other places were booked - but overpriced given the overall experience.
THe. Worst ever
Great! Really nice Japanese cuisine and beautiful interior
Loved the menu! Delicious!
Music louder than a nightclub.
Service was exceptional! George was our waiter and he was great. Will definitely be going back often.
Awesome food. Happy hour allowed us to taste so many amazing appetizers. Drinks were amazing! Loved their Wasabi drink! Def will be back soon!!!
Nice servers. Food small portions. But music way too loud.
Great ambience, and amazing vibes! Highly recommend
2nd time dining here. Food is outstanding and service is great! Beautiful interior and fun vibe. So happy this opened!
The food was very good in general. Good presentation, good preparation, and good combination of flavors. The only thing’ that wasn’t so good were the ceviches: we ordered: the traditional and the rocoto ceviche. The fish was fresh, but the sauce amount was extremely stingy. So stingy in fact, that there was almost none visible in the plate once served. It felt like the fish wasn’t marinated the necessary amount of time, so the fishiness was still there, and there was very little you could do to improve the flavor. Besides that, the sushi was great, the shishito peppers amazing if you like the spice, and my favorite were the crab and waygu buns.
Great food, amazing service !
Found the food unremarkable and simple. Expected something more tasty and innovative
Server did not listen to order, and made many mistakes. Was not willing to accommodate, and at the end of the night gave attitude
Ambience is nice but the acoustic is not so good. The food is pretty good!
Place is wonderful
Food was terrific
Service was extremely slow
It was four of us dining and we were there four hours
The server was very nice but he seemed completely overwhelmed
