   Yesterday was my 3rd visit to Paparazzi and the experience is generally decent but there’s always a different issue with every visit. On yesterday’s visit my friend and I had a 6:45 pm reservation. Upon arrival and checking into the host stand, we were not greeted by the two girls there and when I proceeded to tell them we were there for our 6:45 reservation, she asked if we had heels because we could not dine with with the sandals we were wearing (which we had taken off because it started raining as we were arriving yo the restaurant.) We then went back outside in the rain to ask valet if they could locate our car and grab our heels. My friend was frustrated and wanted to leave but since we had a bad experience with the prior restaurant we had just left, we just decided to stay. After waiting for valet and then putting our heels back on, we had walk into the restaurant holding our sandals because our purses weren’t large enough to carry them and the host wouldn’t let us leave them or our umbrella behind the stand. After being seated at the table, we noticed a lady at a table behind us with sandals on dining in the restaurant. I also captured pics of several ladies coming in wearing sandals appropriately 30 mins after we were seated so I’m not sure if the rules for dress code are null in void as the night goes on or if the hostess has discretion of who they allow to wear sandals and who can’t but that really ticked me off, especially when there are other dress code violations such as women walking around with most of their butt out. And don’t get me started on how close the tables are. You’re likely to have a butt cheek rub across your table a time or two by guests walking through the tables. The only good thing about the night was our waitress Alejandra. She was very nice and understanding. She helped turn the night around but I probably won’t be patronizing again because you just never know what type of rules they’ll decide to enforce for that day.

   I usually have a great experience but yesterday was not pleasant. My reservation was for 5:30 due to valet i didnt walk in until 5:37. Upon arrival they told me to stand in corner by bar until table was ready which took 22 mins. It was plenty tables and seats open and it was not crowded so i was confused. Meals were ok. Music was a bit too loud couldnt have a convo. Mac and cheese have changed since i went on Valentines day literally its like box velvetta shells and cheese. Shrimp scampi was very mid. Drinks took forever to come out and the waiter( Xavion)was not very timely. It was my boyfriend birthday so the sparkler with desert was cool. However after asking for a to go box for the reaminder of the cake the waiter Xavion never returned. After spending $235 with an automatic 20% gratuity included for crappy service and mid food i dont think i will be returning

   I could only eat from the Buffet. I dined expecting to chose from the regular menu and I was not allowed to do so. My overall dining experience was downhill after that.

   The service was great, but the food is just OK. The steak was cooked very well with the sides or equally bland. There are better chop houses in Dallas to pick from.

   Great experience for date night. From the red carpet welcome we asked to be seated for dinner at the bar. The food was on point, with steaks cooked to temp, fries came piping hot, Caesar salad was cool and crisp, and the tuna tacos were an excellent entre to the dinner, very tasty. The bartender who tended to us, was EZ, he was great, very polite, helpful in selections and drinks were also on point. Definitely would go back, in particular due to EZ. The general manager came around and checked on us (can't recall name) and was very polite and answered our questions and had good conversation with him. Again, very much enjoyed.

   Wonderful experience & atmosphere! The staff was so friendly and welcoming, valet parking was so helpful and worth it! We had an amazing night!

   My wife and I celebrated our 8th Anniversary here and we enjoyed every second of our night out. Before we entered, the looks from the outside were very inviting, as it had a red carpet entrance to the main door along with some great lighting. The moment we entered the doors, the mood was set. Dim lighting, a live DJ (music wasn't too noisy to where you couldn't converse) and the aesthetics were all complimentary. Our server, Kris, was amazing. She was knowledgeable, very nice and did a great job checking on us throughout the dinner. She also showed love by bringing us a dessert to help us celebrate. The food was great, as I tried the penne. My wife's food was good as well, although she was expecting a different taste on the ribs, but either way it was good. Drinks were good, not too strong. I would highly recommend visiting this place for a nice dinner with friends or even date night. You won't be disappointed!

   Paparazzi is definitely aesthetically pleasing and located in a very energetic area (Komodo is next door; nearby hotels). Dark ambience with neon spotlighting scattered around the restaurant. The table that we were initially sat at (party of 2) was sooo small, so we requested to sit at the bar because it held more space than the table. The food was okay—6/10 overall. I had the lobster bisque and wagyu + parmesan meatballs. I can’t personally speak on their signature cocktails—I had a vodka tonic…it was made well. My friend ordered their “El Dorado” and really enjoyed it. It was very loud inside. Not sure if there was a speaker under the bar, but I had to cup my friends ear, so that she could hear me. The price was moderate for Dallas and they do include gratuity in your check. I spent about $65 for my meal, so not bad. The overall value was a 7/10 in my opinion. **Valet service may be separate from the restaurant, but if it is not—Paparazzi should absolutely consider a new service. There was a line of people waiting for their car, and some had been there for 30 minutes or more (same story for my car). Sure it was a busy night, but valet was very disorganized and non-responsive in their process. They did not seem to care that patrons were waiting this long—they didn’t provide updates or anything. And apparently there is a separate service to direct traffic…they were horrible at doing so because traffic was continuously at a standstill. Would I come back? Possibly. I may try their Happy Hour, but Fridays are too busy for my liking. **Also, they have a club / lounge that I was excited to visit, but they were closed for a private party.
