   A great little gem of a restaurant in a very unlikely place (strip mall). The food was fantastic, the service was fast, friendly, and efficient. This is our new favorite restaurant in town!

    Everyone’s (group of 10) food was either overcooked or not cooked enough. Heat was not working so it was freezing in there. Had to eat with our coats on. We paid and left all the food on the table because it would take to long to make everyone new dishes.

    We will definitely be going there to eat again. Food was really good. Nice atmosphere and the waitress was a wonder. She remembered 7 people’s orders and did not write down a single thing. We were all very impressed with her.

    We love dining here. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The service is over the top. There were 4 of us for dinner and we ordered Ceasar Salad, Minestrone Soup, Seafood Ravioli and Lamb Chops, everything exceeded our expectations! Bring your appetite…you won’t be disappointed.

    First time at this restaurant and was very pleased with the food and service. Seafood raviolis and the gyros plate were both prepared well and very tasty. It was surprisingly quiet as there were only three tables that were occupied by guests. The server said it was unusual because ordinarily it’s rather busy on a Saturday evening. The server was very attentive and pleasant. The Manhattan I ordered from the bar was just ok. Personally I didn’t care for the look of their chairs as it clashed with the wall decor. But I’m sure most people don’t pay as much attention to that stuff as I do. Overall it was a very good experience and I’d definitely go back and would recommend it to others.

    Wife and I had a date night. Looking for somewhere nice to take her, I chose here to eat. She loved the restaurant, the service and the food. I recommend if you're looking for a nice place to take you significant other for a date, this is the place.

    I thought the food was good, I had the Chicken Marsala and it was pretty darn good! My Dad enjoyed his Spaghetti and his Crème Brûlée! Drinks were great and service was excellent!

    Luncheon for three friends. We were impressed with ambiance, service and food. We all ordered something different and all had an excellent dining experience. Our waitress was attentive and very professional. I will go back again soon!

    Highly recommend. Excellent food (I had the salmon), service was very good and nice place to dine. It was a bit noisy and a bit expensive, although most things are these days. Went for Mother’s Day, was able to get a reservation and was seated promptly. If you go, order the fried cheese…the table next to us order it and it was very exciting.

    We enjoyed our Mother's Day brunch for 11 at Papapollonis. Our outdoor table was quite nice and sheltered from the wind and sun. The halibut, shrimp and avocado salad and filet Mignon were all very good!

    Great ambiance for a Valentine's evening. Our server was great, very patient with us since we were unfamiliar with the menu. I got the chicken parm which was so good! My boyfriend got the lasagna which was a bit saucy for his taste. He said it could have used a bit more substance, more pasta and cheese, but overall a good experience.

    We were seated right away and our table was ready for our reservation. The restaurant manager greeted us and sat us to our table which was set up nicely with a rose and cloth table napkins. Mood music created the appropriate ambiance for the occasion. We started with our moscato, warm bread with balsamic and olive oil dip and calamari fritti for appetizer. The fresh side salad came before we were served our dinner entrees which were the Chicken Marsala and Pistachio-crusted Salmon with capers. Both dishes were consistent and deliciously paired with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Obviously it’s not our first time at this restaurant. They used to have a branch in Oakdale before they moved here in Modesto. Our server was attentive and pleasant. Both the manager and our server checked on us often. We shared a generous slice of the cheesecake with raspberry drizzle for dessert. We were full and happily satisfied. It was nice to have a local, cozy restaurant to go to especially for Gal-entine’s dinner. We were glad that they are in OpenTable for reservations because it was getting busy later on. Their price is just what you would expect if you’re looking for quality and value for your money.

    My wife and I decided to try a new place for her birthday and we were very happy with the outcome. The service was great and food was delicious!! We will most definitely be putting this on our list to revisit. My wife had the Spicy Garlic Chicken and I had the Chef’s Choice (Italian Sausage, marinara, and Penne Pasta), both dishes ingredients were evenly balanced in flavor and the freshness was very evident. Overall very nice experience!!
