    The greeter offered us a table immediately next to the door. We declined because we didn’t want to freeze. The alternatives offered were tables in a corridor by the pass or in a back room. We chose the corridor as the least worst option. The restaurant was deserted. She could easily have offered us a decent alternative. She did not do that. The food was over-salty and expensive. It was pretty boring food. Madrid has much better to offer. Go elsewhere.

    It was our last night in Madrid. Found this place on OpenTable. We sat inside due to the chilly weather but there was an outdoor option. Popular place, while we were there, multiple large parties were sat as well as a few to go orders. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Fabulous service, delicious food. Would definitely recommend and go back next time we’re in Madrid.

    Pasamos por ahí un día antes y nos llamó la atención lo confortable y acogedor que se veía. Así que decidimos regresar cuando pudiéramos. Una experiencia deliciosa y agradable.

    Llegamos 10 minutos antes y nos dijeron que nuestra mesa estaba ocupada y que si no había otra libre tendríamos que esperar. Finalmente, nos instalaron al fondo del salón, donde había dos mesas libres. Al rato se quedó otra libre sin ser ocupadas en toda la noche. Vamos, que nos dejaban en la calle esperando 10 minutos antes sin razón…. Las bebidas las trajeron al mismo tiempo que la comida. Lo lógico es que nos hubiesen traído antes la bebida mientras esperábamos los platos. La comida regular, el solomillo duro. Falta de personal, no daban abasto. Tardaron en traernos la segunda bebida, con lo que comimos el segundo plato a palo seco. El ambiente muy ruidoso. El personal amable, pero no recomiendo el lugar.

    We reserved as a big group of 20 and requested a group menu, which the staff has kindly provided us with a few options. The group menu is good with fixed appetizers and desserts of sharing, and 6 choices of main course to choose from, including paster, risotto, different types of meat and a vegetarian option too. The staff was very detail-minded to observe that some guests have not arrived and would not start serving first. They also changed the wine cup for serving a specific wine we ordered in addition to the group menu. They are also quite proactive in serving us bottled water. The food is okay. But one of the appetizers, 'Roastbeef with Mediterranean tuna sauce and Pantelleria capers I.G.P.' had too much of the tuna sauce. The portion of appetizers are also quite large that we could not finish. Moreover, the slow cooked Iberian pork rib is way too salty. Nevertheless the desserts (Tiramisu and Gianduja chocolate beignet with mascarpone sauce) are superb. As a business dinner, the ambience and noise level of the restaurant are just right. Guests can chat with each other as they want. It would be better if the restaurant can have slightly brighter lighting for photographing, but the current lighting is also okay. Very appreciative of the staff of Pante accommodating such big group of us.

    Outstanding Italian food in the heart of Madrid. The Focaccia bread was some of the best ever. Paired with the Carpaccio beef was out of this world. Pasta with pepper and Bolognese melted in your mouth. Great wine list. Great staff. A definite must when visiting Madrid.

    Pante is the perfect place for those who appreciate quality. I suggest you to try the cotoletta and the spaghetti Al rombo. The Burrata, shrimp carpaccio and the pizzeta are so good as well. You can’t miss the wines they have from Pantelleria island - so so good! Everytime I don’t have a good experience in a restaurante (what has been happening a lot), I think I should had gone to Pante.

    The service, the food and the surroundings were great. Our waiter was very helpful and the food was fantastic. The menu is great and you must go there. If you are a tourist go!! If you are a Spaniard go!!

    En general, muy recomendable. Por poner un punto de mejora, el carpaccio de gamba roja muy escaso por el precio del plato. Puntos fuertes: la ejecución de la pasta espectacular. La caponata buenisima y el tiramisu es el mejor que he comido en España. También destacar el buen sevicio de la metre y de los camareros. Comida auténtica del sur de Italia y una propuesta gastronómica muy interesante y recomendable

    It's starts with being greeted by a smart front of house manager, great lighting, modern clean decor, very comfortable tables and seating. No rush to choose your wines or food. You eat with your eyes first, every dish is beautifully designed, and the quality of ingredients can not be ignored. A delicious experience!

    Excellent italian cuisine especially the risotto, the burrata and the carpacio. We tasted several dishes and they were v..good to excellent. Highly recommend the restaurant. The decoration is nice and appeasing. Several areas for eating. All. nice. Easy parking garages on Velasquez street.

    We sat outside, and were alone outside. The night was warm, but enjoyable. The bread to start was amazing. We ordered burrata which was excellent and a few pasta dishes, one of which was the pesto special which was exquisite. Ther service was attentive but not overbearing.. perfect. We enjoyed our meal and their house made dessert as well. The plates are smaller, but for an upscale restaurant the pricing was reasonable and we would definitely come again.

    The food is excellent. The veal Milanese is outstanding, one of the best I have ever had. All of the carpaccios are delicious. The food is worth making a trip for. But although the service is very friendly, it is not attentive, especially if you are sitting in the back room.
