Very disappointed in this restaurant. Prices were high and the food was only OK. Service was terrible. The meal started off with a single slice of what seemed like Italian bread from a supermarket, next came a very lack luster Caesar salad, followed by a 45 minute wait, when our waiter informed us that the pasta we ordered was all gone. We skipped it rather than wait for something else. The entree was bracciola sitting on a bed of polenta and some rather soggy broccoli rabe with a watery sauce seeping out from beneath all. It tasted OK, but didn’t seem worth the $30 we paid. The waiter also forgot to bring my wine.
The food was delicious! And the staff were lovely!
Terrible. Overpriced for mediocre food. The wait for our reserved table was outrageous, we were sat outside to accommodate the restaurant and promised it was warm but it was freezing, there was dirt in our water, my daughter’s meal had cheese on it despite clearly communicating her dairy allergies, it took 20 minutes just to get a fork.
We had a reservation today Mother’s Day for 4 at 130. We where not seated until 155. Then when seated the service was slow and awful.
I have been there in the past Amd always had a nice experience. It was never like this.
Anyway, it was a utter and complete disappointment. Especially for a $300 meal. They where out of pasta when I ordered. And he didn’t take our order for 45 minutes.
He kept forgetting our drinks. And got me the wrong first course.
After speaking with management they are giving us a check for the meal. Amd where sorry. So we will go back to see them again. Just not on a holiday.
My mom had to ask him 3 times for a glass of bubbly.
My dads steak was cold. And when we said it’s been 3 hours and we need our dessert wrapped up because we have to leave. ‘Mind you we would just sit there without foood or drink I front of us and nobody would ask if we needed anything. And to top it off, He forgot my sons Dessert.
It was a terrible experience. And we dine out or take out 3-5 times a week. And I have to say this was the worst experience we have ever had.
I feel you should be completely aware of this. Please let me know if this is the right person I should speak to.
Every time we eat here we walk away happy. We love the food, the service and the ambience. We highly recommend Panorama to everyone.
We went here for the Mother's Day brunch. The service here was terribly slow. We were seated around noon and did not receive our main dish until sometime after 1:30. The steak and potatoes were very greasy and tasted slightly like gas (as if from a gas grill). The restaurant was obviously understaffed, as the host and someone who appeared to be the manager also began taking on the role of waitstaff. I had been so excited to check out this wine bar only to be extremely disappointed. While the food was a disappointment, I will say the wine selection was nice.
Never again, service was extremely slow on a limited menu, three course meal, 17 bucks to park, 1st course was mediocre, 2nd course was very good, 3rd course was cheaply thrown together and small, manager had a poor attitude and was not very accommodating..went for mother's day brunch, left disappointed 😞
Staff was very attentive, and we appreciated the explanation of the various wines in the wine flight
Been here many times thru out the years and this was the worst the food has ever been
It wasn’t terrible but not hood by any means and certainly didn’t warrant the price
Dinner was excellent. The manager went above and beyond to make it a great dining experience. Definitely will be recommending Panorama
Food was excellent and service was pleasant. Staff very helpful and attentive.
Absolutely amazing! Our server, Ozzy, was attentive and helpful. Angela, the manager was generous and lovely. Matthew, the Chef, came to our table and answered questions and asked for feedback. The food was OUTSTANDING. Definitely recommend!
We are regular Phila diners and the Panorama dinning experience is consistently excellent and a great value. The atmosphere, food, wine and service is amazing and provides a dinning experience unparalleled in Philadelphia. The creative wine flights offer an inexpensive way to enjoy good wines during the meal. and yes the food is creative and delicious.
Food was incredible but had to ask to be waited on after 20-30 min and was never checked on by our waitress. The manager was very nice and came over to apologize after
Our waiter Ozzy was amazing and so was the food and wine. Can't wait to come back.
Very short staffed. Unusually long wait for drinks, table clearing in between courses, etc. painfully slow!!!
I eat here about twice a year. The wine list is extensive and the staff is eager to help you make a choice. The food is always executed well. The menu is small but carefully crafted. Staff at this last visit was really something special. Our waitress Megan was probably one of the best I've encountered in a long time. She was at the table when she needed to be and kept a watchful eye on our glasses, all while being funny and polite. We dined family-style with another couple over three courses and dessert. Megan ensured that we were not rushed and had an opportunity to enjoy each course. She was assisted by an incredibly friendly group of food runners and bussers. I'll be back soon.
Delightful dishes, perfectly paced! Definitely get a wine flight or two, and we loved the fresh, savory collection of bruschetta to start. The duck entree and ricotta cake for dessert was so decadent and delicious! The staff is also very kind with great recommendations. The inside is very intimate, dark, and quiet, but if you chose to sit outside there is typical street noise of course. We sat outside and enjoyed every moment!
Everything is to perfection!
Best meal I have had in a long time. Service was impeccable!
Beautiful place. Food came out fast. Wine Flight was amazing. Our Second waiter was very informative and alert. Host was very helpful and accommodating with out seating arrangement. Will be going back.
Great wine list, fantastic food, slow service though. Will be back 100% because we like to take our time
Great for wine flights and good food to compliment. Interesting Wine list and knowledgeable servers. Delay is seating was address with a complimentary glass of Prosecco. Good spacing of tables. Real highlight of Philly dining.
Panorama never lets us down. The food, ambience, and of course the wine were perfect. We were lucky enough to have Niles around, who’s wine suggestions and pairing recommendations were amazing!
Great food, wine and service!
The first time dining experience with my girlfriend at Panorama was fantastic from the time we were seated. The kindness, courtesy and friendliness of all staff we were greeted by set the stage for a quiet, relaxing and romantic evening! Not only was the food and beverages outstanding, but the waiter and bartender should be commended on their professionalism and exceptional service.
My girlfriend and I now have now found our new spot to escape to for an extremely enjoyable time. Can't wait to return!
Wonderful as always! The waiter was super Helpful with my wine choice & nailed it in the first try! It was a great experience. Food is always deliciously prepared & we never feel rushed. The pasta dishes are our favorite!
Food, drinks and food servicer were great. BUT, my waitress Francesca seems as if she didn't want to wait on us until she had NO choice. There was one couple at a table and my party. At the time, the rest of the room was empty. Francesca looked in our direction, dismissed us and only served the one couple. At one point walked pass our table and didn't say a word. 15 minutes later another couple was seated next to my table. Francesca back in the room a few moments later, headed in their direction until we looked at her and she finally came to our table. All went well after that. It was our first time at this restaurant and we were celebrating birthdays, but first impressions are everything. Not sure if I will visit this established again! Race seemed to be an issue with her!
Waitress took 1 1/2 hours to get us 2 Martini’s
Perfect as usual. Brilliant pastas and a wine fir every taste.
Food was good, but overpriced. While the wine was delicious, it was dar too expensive.
I loved it so many options to choose from and they made it extremely special for me and my girlfriend 9 months together i highly recommend
We were seated and waited 20 minutes just for a server to introduce themselves. Then it took another 30 minutes to get our order taken, then another 40 minutes just to get our appetizers (salad & calamari). Another hour just to get our entrees (veal & lasagna). Food was mediocre for the price.
The food was good but the service was absolutely terrible. We watched two tables seated after us get drinks before a waiter visited our table. We were at the table for over two hours and we’re only approached to order drinks, food, and a second round of drinks after asking for someone to come take our order.
At the end of the night, we got our checks (with no itemized receipt), paid, and were leaving the restaurant when the wait staff came out, said we paid for the wrong table, bring another check that was $100 higher, and ask us to sign/tip again before leaving.
With all of the phenomenal Italian options in Philadelphia, do not waste your time here. We will not be going back.
Always great experience at Panorama. The manager Angela is absolutely the best. She makes the experience just great by making you feel really welcome and special! Food good too.
Everything was great! From the wine flights and food. I’ll be back again
Everything was fantastic, from the wine, to the food, to the service. Can’t wait to come back!
Best overall restaurant in Philadephia for food, wine, service and atmosphere.
I love this place! The wine flights were amazing. The eggplant parmigiana was Amazon and I had the steak so juicy. I ate outside so the ambiance was so romantic. Will be returning!
