Panorama consistently produces the best dinning experience in Philadelphia. My wife had the veal and I had the lamb. Simply delicious. Entire experience was amazing.
Always a pleasure. 😊
Lovely servers but host, Kevin, was miserable. He tainted the entire experience. Food was mediocre.
We sat at the bar finally and had a wonderful dinner. Alex the bartender was great. The duck confit was melt in your mouth. My husband had the rigatoni with a wild boar Bolognese sauce which is one of his favorites.
Great to return to our favorite restaurant. Everything is wonderful. Really enjoyed our flights.
Would only wish for a vegan option.
It has been quite awhile since we dined at Panorama and it is still a great dining experience. We were greeted and taken to our table. Our server, Jonathan,
Intruded himself to us and inquired whether we preferred sparkling water or still and went over the menu with us explaining that night’s special entree. Cocktails were ordered and we placed our appetizer order. We were not rushed in any way and as we were finishing our first course we put in our entree order.
The appetizers were excellent: I had the burrata which was outstanding and someone had the eggplant parmigiana which received rave reviews.
We ordered 4 entrees: braciola, chicken milenese, salmon and the special offering of the night, the lamb shoulder. All we exceptional.
It was a great evening and we look forward to dining there again.
Panorama was good. The food was well seasoned & tasty. The wine flights were great. The service could have been better. Our waitress was average at best, didn’t have any suggestions & wasn’t friendly. It was restaurant week & it was disappointing that we couldn’t get anything off the regular menu. That should’ve been specified when the reservation was booked.
Excellent spot for a nice Italian dinner. We enjoyed a flight of Italian red wine. I think it was definitely in the top 5 Italian places I've eaten at in Philly. Service was great too.
Fabulous all around
I would not return here. Server was not friendly and also very pushy trying to get us to order more and more. He approached our table asking if we wanted tequila shots. He didn’t interact much besides when he was trying to get us to order more drinks / food. Then he was very pushy with getting us to leave. Food was just average, nothing wowed us at all. If the service didn’t give off such bad vibes, our experience would have been better. Philly is filled with way better restaurants then this place. Don’t waste your time or money.
Excellent indoor dining experience during Philly's Restaurant Week. First time indoors at a restaurant since COVID. Great re-entry experience. Location is extremely convenient on public transportation. 48 bus drops you at their door! Staff was terrific.
Food and ambiance were good but our server seemed in a rush and not very helpful with the menu
Great food and wine. Service was a little slow, but they were crowded. The shrimp appy was fabulous. Good steak.
The food and ambience and background music were all excellent!
Overall poor service, overcooked food, undertrained staff.
Food was outstanding, the wine flight a good deal. Thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience.
Mushroom app was excellent. Beer list is lacking. Wine flights are $34!
Service was excellent and the food was fabulous as always. The new cocktails were also delicious
Panorama never disappoints. They have an impressive wines by the glass list. If you ever need a recommendation, their amazing sommelier, Bill, will help select the perfect wine. Fabulous food, wine and staff! 🥂
The food was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend if you like any kind of Italian food. However the service was subpar. We waited an hour to get our dessert. Nobody came and checked on us throughout our 2 hour meal. We were also seated after people that arrived after us. The staff was unfriendly but the food was amazing.
Love this restaurant, one of our favorites. Been here many times.
Panorama provided an excellent Restaurant Week menu. I ate excellent mushroom salad appetizer and pan seared salmon entree. My husband had ordered eggplant Parmesan appetizer & Caci e Pepe, and enjoyed both. The wine list was extensive but prices were extremely high for the level of wine quality. Chocolate layer cake was great. The plastic enclosure for outdoor dining let in insufficient air. It was hot.
It was lovely. Great service and food. So enjoyed my time with my niece at your restaurant. Wine was good. Yummy ending of mango sorbet.
The lemon cake was the best thing on the menu. I had the tortellini and it was average, it could’ve used a little more freshness and flavor. The house salad was basic despite the appetizing description. The cocktails were good!
It was restaurant week... so everyone at the table had to order off the restaurant week menu or a la cart. We were impressed with the restaurant week menu. They offered almost everything from the regular menu with a few additional items (like the burrata) and the portions were full entrees. The presentation and dishes were amazing (as always). We normally don’t like to go during restaurant week because the service is normally terrible and this time was no different. Server was un-attentive (almost seemed like on purpose) and slow. If it wasn’t for the hostess and managers walking around and helping to clear the table, I would have knocked off another star or two. The service was so bad, it made me think twice about returning ever again…
NOTE: no one likes a rocky table and appetizer plate in front of you when the main entrée arrives. Especially when you finishing your appetizer 20 mins before the entrée came out. There was plenty of time to clear the table and refill our drinks or replace the carafe of water before the next entrée arrived.
Panorama was the perfect get together after a long quarantine!
My friends and I stopped by for dinner during restaurant week and had the night of our lives. Our waitress was charming, attentive, and knowledgeable. The food was divine - we could not stop doing happy food dances. And the drink flights were such a fun experience and the cosmos were the best we ever had.
I recommend Panorama for any occasion - the vibe is chic and music was perfect.
Thank you for a wonderful experience - we are already looking for another excuse to go again.
The atmosphere was beautiful. Our waitress was fantastic and the food was delicious. Would go back in a heartbeat!
Lovely afternoon with superior service from Jonathon our server.
AMAZING! For sure one of my favorite restaurants now.
Service was wonderful and the environment. Food did not have much taste to it we could have used salt and pepper at the table. If you like bland food go here if you like flavorful food go else where. Wine tower was nice but they did not have a selection of sweet wines. We picked the rose wine and it was okay.
Our food was okay, nothing special. The Veal was very over cooked and dry, the pastas tasted homemade and were good.
Our service was terrible. We went during restaurant week, so the menu was very limited. We had to wait an hour between each course to get our next course, including a premade dessert. We had a 6:30 reservation and were there until 9:45. Ultimately, we decided to skip dessert after waiting for an hour and 15 minutes for someone to get 2 slices of cake out of the refrigerator.
I don't blame the waitress, she was clearly overwhelmed. I do blame the manager who was standing in the corner all evening not helping her at all. It was as if he took pleasure in watching the poor waitress get more and more overwhelmed.
We will not be back.
Went for restaurant week so the menu was limited however the food tasted absolutely wonderful and the service was exceptional
The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and especially helpful in suggesting a bottle of wine we would enjoy with our meal.
Food fantastic, Service Great. Went with a few friends and we all enjoyed our meal - the best ever! Our server on Thirsday night was wonderful. Very helpful and attentive. Came with 2 other friends and we all enormously enjoyed the food. We were also very pleased with the friendliness and service from all the staff. We needed a little heip with the menu, but other then that everything was fabulous!
Celebrated a birthday during restaurant week. We had to wait 30 minutes to be seated despite having a reservation. It was clear they were overwhelmed/understaffed for the evening.
We enjoyed everything we got and, because it was restaurant week, it was a mostly good value. The one thing we were not happy about was one of the restaurant week menu items was a strip steak and it had a $5 upcharge, but when it came out (a full HOUR after we finished our appetizers) it was just one smallish piece of steak in the center of the plate with some tomatoes and mushrooms on top like a meat bruschetta. No sides. Nothing. It was truly sad looking and they charged five extra dollars? Also, as I briefly mentioned, we waited a LONG time for food.
While my first course and second course were very good, we waited an hour and a half past our first course for our second course on the restaurant week menu. That is unacceptable. We were starving my the time the second course came out. My husband's steak (that we had to pay $5 extra for) was fatty. Dessert fell short - my ice cream was halfway melted and tasted as though it was freezer-burnt. Definitely not worth the price for what you're getting.
We've been there over 50 times since 1990. Used to be a 12 on a scale of 1-10 but still excels in the all important area of quality food. Just not as exceptional as in the past.
Service was terrible. Food was fair. Then on top of it, told only had an hour and half for dinner. Will not return.
My appitizer was diferent but had too many large slivers of fennel bulb. The entree was the real star at our table. The veal dish melted in your mouth, another entree of salmon was kind of skimpy being an entree no more than 4 ounces without enough sides to say it was filling. Desserts were all outstanding especially the dark chocolate cheese cake under the wonderful sauce.
