Bread was a little burned if it wasn't for that mistake it would be 5-star
Food was cold. No one at valet. We had to pay and go back and get our money. Won’t come back
We have gone before and it was excellent. We went about a year ago. Recently took my fiancé and family out for his birthday expecting the same experience. We were forgotten about and constantly waiting for drinks/food. Half the table wasn’t pleased with their food, overcooked, overpriced, cold, incredibly tiny portions. I understand these days places are understaffed but honestly servers were just walking and talking with each other and the restaurant was not busy. The manager was Excellent and was working very hard to make up for the rest of the staff. We truly appreciated the discount we were given to compensate, however I’m not sure we will return. It was too expensive and not worth it given our experience.
The ambience and view were great.
The service and food were not.
I went here for my 30th birthday dinner. We had a table for 9 people and all of the staff was so friendly.
Excellent service. One of the best dinners we have had in a while. Our server was wonderful and offered a dessert on the house. Definitely recommend this place.
Hopefully, this was just a one off bad night for our first visit to this establishment. Ordered drinks and appetizers first. Got the appetizers, but drinks were another 15 minutes later. Cleared away those dishes and waited almost 45 minutes for our dinners. When asked about it, they said they were waiting on the hamburger one of us ordered (???). When we did finally get our food, it was all but cold. Not a good look for a final bill of $225 for four not counting tip. The place didn't even seem that busy, but we could not see the whole venue. On the plus side, our server Allisa was very pleasant and did the very best she could under conditions not of her making. She got the birthday person a free shot and dessert was free having declared the event a birthday party on the reservation. Sponge candy cheesecake was the highlight of the evening.
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and meal!
We attended the Eric Church concert and this was a convenient option. Understandably, covid had changed many things in the restaurant business, and hopefully things will return to more normal circumstances.
However, we sat near a window that was covered in spider webs and dirt, but amazing view. We had a reservation for seven, but the hotel was only set for six. They did bring another table snd chair snd place setting.
The restaurant was very crowded, which we actually enjoyed for the party type ambiance, but service was slow. There didn’t seem to be enough servers, those that were there were working very hard!
The menu was kind of odd for us. Being in Buffalo, there should be a few “Buffalo” items, like chicken wings or beef on week or stuffed banana peppers.
Lamb balls seemed like an odd item!
The food as ok, French fries were very good. Drinks were good.
Overall, the place seemed overwhelmed with the crowd. But with the right menu snd enough staff, this place could be a phenomenal restaurant in Buffalo. The location snd views are outstanding.
Some of the best food I’ve had in Buffalo I’m a really long time, and really great cocktails. The view is also beautiful. Makes for a great date night!
Nice . Atmosphere exceptional views.
Generally have dinner once a month.
Very upscale with great vibes! Atmosphere is excellent as well. Really enjoyed my birthday dinner
My martini was great. French onion soup was atrocious. It looked like warm pudding, overly reduced and very salty. Crab and watermelon salad was overdressed and the crab tasted and smelled spoiled. Focaccia wasn’t even real, it was regular bread that was sliced and grilled. Filet mignon was cooked correctly but sides were extremely salty. The lamb dish was good. Dessert was underwhelming. Service was great, as was the dining room.
Foods was great and so was the ambiance. We were not rushed and appreciated the server giving us time to enjoy our meal. Definitely a place to go if you are in town.
Food was ok. I had a pork chop dish, it was a bit dry. Fries a bit over cooked.
We had another great dinner at Panorama. The food was delicious, the cocktails were amazing and the service was excellent. It was a great pick for our anniversary dinner!! Will be back soon!
Our first time there. Always looking for a new experience. Buffalo offers it all. Panorama lived up to all of its hype. Great view of Harbour Front and Lake Erie. Open and airy. Knowledgeable staff. Able to explain menu. A nice selection. Not an overwhelming menu. Food was beautifully plated and flavor full. Service was leisurely. We were so busy visiting with our friends that it was a welcomed pace. I thought the prices were less than I would have expected for an urban/waterfront place. Will dine there again.
This restaurant offers beautiful views, delicious food and outstanding service.
Yanis was an amazing server!! The food was absolutely delicious!!
We only came for dessert and a drink but it was fantastic! We are pleased every time
Beautiful view, hotel like environment. Good food, though on the pricier side. Restaurant is VERY dark. After sunset they turned the lights off fully & it was hard to even see what we’re eating.
Great service by Jimmy!! Food was fabulous!
Food (beef filet and lam) and cocktails (pancho and mugwumps) were absolutely outstanding. It felt like our server forgot about us despite being seated in the center of the restaurant.
Steaks were all over cooked multiple times. Slow service. Other entrees not great. Asked many options regarding gluten free menu items and still ended up getting sick.
I thought the focaccia bread was not very good and the shrimp dish was just okay. The service was amazing. Our server was so attentive and warm. I loved her! Of course the ambiance was stunning.
The setting was lovely, however I think that in future, I’d be more likely to come here for drinks rather than dinner
We were pleased with the room. The service was very good as we had a very pleasant waitress. Food was better than expected.
It was a great dinner. The food was awesome and the staff did a great job. It was nice to get out and see people working again. The restaurant was very clean and had a great atmosphere.
Was my girlfriends birthday so we decided to go here. Worst choice I ever made in my life seriously. Food was awful. Worst 240 dollars ever spent.
Please save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else
My son & I ate breakfast here & were thoroughly impressed! The food was top notch (the bacon was amazing), the cleanliness was immaculate, the atmosphere was quiet and best of all, the service was spot on perfect. Gracie took care of us & we never wanted or needed anything. She went above & beyond to make sure we were pleased with our food & even recommended some places to visit while we were in Buffalo.
Service was very good. I was confused as to why I could only make a 4pm reservation for a Friday. We were still at our table at 6pm and there were plenty of empty tables. I feel they lost money if people could not make reservations on your open table link
A very nice location with good food and decent service
As other reviewers have said, Jasmine is an awesome server. Very good service and and very friendly. The food was very good. My wife had the lamb and I had the special (blackened Mahi Mahi). Both were very good. Soups were good as well. The cheesecake for dessert was awesome! Very rich so we were glad we shared it.
We have dined there several times.
The waiter we have had 3 times is hard to understand.
Keeps us waiting far to long when we first arrive.
I will say one of the wait staff noticed we had been waiting awhile. She came over and assisted with our drink order.
When the waiter finally appeared he had some excuse.
Didn't need excuses. Perhaps he could have made the Hostes aware he want avaliable.
The food is not so special. However is priced appropriately.
Four tries. Maybe again.
The view of the water front is quite nice.
Caesar salad not good - burger was average - truffle fries amazing . Service was slow but that seems to be a theme during a time when staffing is low everywhere. Our server was pleasant but definitely stretched. I was hoping for a better meal so slightly disappointed. I will be eating here again as I have out of town clients staying at the Marriott .
The atmosphere was very upscale with a wonderful view. The server (Jasmine) couldn’t be any nicer. The Carbonara and Tuna was as good as you can get.
My husband and I took out 3 year old a a date night to Panorama on Seven and we don’t regret it! It was inviting and the staff was absolutely lovely and extremely kind and fun with our daughter! The food… oh man, the food was worth every penny. Honestly, if we didn’t love 4 hours away, we’d come back.
I looked up reviews of this place and they all made it seem like this place was amazing! I wanted to take my fiancé for a great dinner but was severely disappointed with Panorama On Seven. First, trying to find it was ridiculous, there’s no outside/street side signage that indicates that it’s inside of the Marriott hotel. Once we looked inside there was a sign near the elevators that said the restaurant was on the 7th floor. We went up to the restaurant, we seated at a window table and had very nice views of canal-side. Our waitress read off the specials and asked for our drink order and if we wanted a 6 oz or a 9 oz pour. Little did we know how much more expensive that would be, I could have bought 2 bottles at the liquor store for what we were charged for 2 glasses. I ordered the Carbonara and my fiancée ordered the Coq au Vin Blanc. Mine had hardly any sauce in the dish and was basically plain pasta, 5 baby shrimp, 1 piece of bacon crumbled into the dish with 1 egg yolk on top for $24! What a rip off! My fiancée’s chicken was terrible! He’s not the kind to complain and felt bad as I’m the one who planned his birthday dinner. He ate half of the chicken and didn’t want to bring the other half home. I took a small bite of his dish and the chicken was so over cooked it tasted like rubber, how he managed to eat even half is beyond me. I’m so disgusted with how terrible this meal was for how much our bill ended up being. I would never recommend this place to anyone unless they want to sit at an elevated canal side view and have a cocktail and even then I’d warn them to bring their wallets first!
Our waitress was Jasmine and she was phenomenal. She was very knowledgeable about the food and drinks and made sure we were well taken care of. The food was decadent and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice meal.
