Panevino Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
Panevino has lovely atmosphere if eating outdoors among beautiful flowers or in their indoor room with windows overlooking the garden. Wait staff is experienced and friendly. Good to know that half portions are available on most pasta dishes and salads. Indoor eating area can be very noisy so we always request their indoor garden room which is small and narrow and quiet.
We consistently love this restaurant. The waitress Pietra was extremely unfriendly and made a face when we asked for 2 separate checks. We said thank you many times throughout our meal and not even a smile or response. Wishing we had Jasmine who is off the charts amazing. Love her!
Panevino is a restaurant i have been going to for years. The good is always great. The service at this visit was disappointing in that the item ordered was incorrect. It was the wrong salad with the right protein ordered, I accepted the order but was charged the higher price for for the item received. I think since it was their mistake I should have been charged for the item I ordered. Also the cappuccino took 20 minutes
Our server was incredible - kind, friendly & attentive. The food was decent - more specifically however, the pizza was great! The sangria was very expensive ($36/pitcher) and had little to no booze in it. To serve 4 of us we needed 2 pitchers which is quite expensive and we all felt as if we were served nothing but juice. We are not huge drinkers but for a special night out and for that price point you'd hope to get a little more fun out it. The room is a bit loud and a woman at a nearby table actually shushed us b/c she couldn't handle the sound (we were not very loud & it was busy dinner time).
We sat outside on a warm, breezy evening, so any noise level was very low. Couldn't hear the cars on a nearby major road. Great atmosphere. Apart from that, the food was fabulous! My wife had the eggplant parmesan and I had the steak, one if the best I've had for a long time, and we eat out a lot! Very attentive service. We'll definitely be going back.
Hostess seemed confused when we checked in, said they were busy, she would check with manager, even though there were empty tables we could see. Don't know what that was about. Waitress was good, took our order. Food took awhile to come out. Soup was good, pizza-adequate at best, chicken parm was horrible, thick and under cooked, even had a bone in it.
Really, really LOUD! to the point of being annoying. No ambience at all, even though some earlier reviews stated nicest place around. Have driven by numerous times and parking lot always seemed packed, so thought that might be an indicator of a good stop. Wrong.
Really just seemed like being in a crowded, overly noisy airport restaurant. Almost every review said the outside seating is the place to be, and we sat inside. But I would not recommend this place. Overall.....LOUSY
The food at Panevino is always fresh and delicious. The salad special with arugula, dried fig, mandarin orange and caramel walnut is fantastic. We always order their orange ice tea which is very refreshing. My favorite is the shrimp with black linguine. Margarita pizza is very good too.
Took over half an hour to get our pizza we ordered as an app the second our waiter came over to take drink orders. Water was empty more than half the time. Server had an attitude. Never had a problem here and have been going for year. Today was just an awful experience.
We have been going to panevino for 25 years and every morsel of food has been fresh and delicious. The waitstaff is wonderful and the energy is incredible! Even the kids menu is great. I have had most everything on their ever evolving menu, all was great, must mention that the fried calamari continues to be the very best we have ever had!
Panevino has been a popular local restaurant for many years. I have dined here many times, as it is in walking distance from my home. In an area where good, local Italian restaurants are common Panevino fits in with a convenient location and a contemporary casual and sometimes very noisy atmosphere. The food is good with some traditional dishes, as well as some interesting alternatives. The service varies, but usually is casually attentative. However, there is nothing that truly superior that makes this a destination restaurant and prices are a little higher than average. For someone in the area looking for a predictable, convenient meal Panevino is a safe choice.
