Food was very good as was the service. My only complaint would be that a small table for 2 is a bit cramped, but other than that it was an enjoyable evening.

The food and service at this restaurant was absolutely outstanding. It was definitely worth the drive and the price. My boyfriend really loved it too, and we're already planning on coming back for our next special date!

The restaurant had a problem with the heating system. That is the reason for the fair ambiance rating. Their response was outstanding. The drinks were free and they even provided a gift certificate. You can judge a business by how they respond to a crisis. Their response was excellent. The whole staff did a very good job.

Went for dinner on New Year's Eve. The food was excellent. The Funghi chicken was delicious. Even though we had reservations we still had to wait twenty minutes for our table. There really isn't much room to stand and wait. Will definitely return on a night that isn't as busy.

Perfect service! Everybody was super friendly and did their job. Complimentary valet parking is a bonus. The food was very good with some very minor exceptions. The only real issue we had was with the temperature inside - me and my wife, we were both freezing. But they were working to resolve this issue. Definitely coming back when it gets warmer.

Great food!! I reserved a table on Open Table and mentioned in the notes that we were celebrating a birthday. When we arrived to the restaurant the table was tastefully decorated with gold confetti and a birthday card in the center from the restaurant! So classy and the service was excellent.

This restaurant has been very good in the past. The gluten free option are numerous and the gluten free calamari was delicious. Unfortunately, 4 out of 5 of our dinners were on the salty side. It was a little disappointing for the price.

went for family meal on christmas eve before a 10pm church service . res at 8:15 and we were not seated until 9pm bc a very large party stayed on the restaurant long after their meal was finished. the restaurant mgr hosted waitress and staff were all extremely professional and friendly and went out of their way to make up for the wait. we were able to order before being seated so that we were not late to church . definitely going back even though it's 30 min away from home. food was absolutely delicious. we have traveled a lot in italy and the dishes were all authentic and beautifully presented. we were also offered a complementary appetizer. grazie mille to everyone at pane e vino!

Our first time here and we will most definitely return. Excellent high quality Italian food. The lobster ravioli and meatballs were very good and the bread pudding for dessert was wonderful. The service staff were very friendly and took the time to explain the menu in depth as well as describe the appertifs which were an unexpected treat. Complimentary valet parking was very helpful as well.

Wonderful food, prompt service and friendly staff: Pane e Vino never disappoints. It's our favorite on the Hill. I could eat the rigatoni weekly! There are enough menu classics with fresh options that we look forward to returning time and time again.

I ordered the seven fishes Christmas special and it was fantastic. You will not be disappointed. The baccala was especially good - like my grandmother's. The waitress - who was from Italy- was extremely pleasant. Overall A+. I'll be going back.

As usual a very enjoyable evening. We ordered a bottle of wine that didn't taste right and the waitress took the bottle away. The manager came over and apologized and agreed that the wine was not acceptable. We ordered a different bottle of wine which was great! Professional staff whom engages the customers! Merry Christmas.

I was there for my annual Feast of the Seven Fishes. I have enjoyed each year but for reasons that I cannot articulate, this was the best ever. I wish that they would do this type of meal maybe on a quarterly basis. It would not have the Holiday spirit but maybe we could rename it.

My wife had an appetizer, salad and main course off the regular menu and was very pleased with her meal.

In addition to the quality of the meal and the service, we happened to visit on a Monday which is 50% off of all bottles of wine. What a treat this visit was for both my wife and myself.

Food was delicious and ambiance was wonderful, the service was fantastic! The waiters surprised my dad with a birthday dessert. They surrounded him while singing a beautiful, Italian rendition of Happy Birthday and placed a candle in his sorbet. All in all- we had a very special evening! Thank you! We will be back!

While visiting Providence we wanted a italian meal on Federal Hill. Our waiter from Circe Restaurant reccomended Pane E Vino. He was not wrong. It was as good a any restaurant in the North End of Boston. The food was fresh and authentic. Plate sizes well very generous and price very reasonable. It didn't hurt we were there on Monday night and all wines were 50% off.

We had a nice converstion with Nick, the manager, about the history and the food, and how much we enjoyed our dining. He was also very helpful by getting our ride back to the hotel and making sure I was comforable waiting for the ride, because I was on crutches. Thbnak to the entire staff at Pane E Vino fro a great experience.

My date and I had a beyond exceptional experience at this restaurant. This is easily the best restaurant on Federal Hill and one of the best in Providence. From their wine selection to the the food to their service, everything was amazing. Our server, Edward helped us select wonderful wines to pair with our courses. We started off with an appetizer special, Buffalo Mozzarella caprese, imported from Italy! Next, we had the Squid Ink Lobster Fra Diavolo and the Braciola di Maiale. To wrap up the night, we enjoyed some bread pudding which is hands down the best I’ve ever had. We look forward to dining with you again!
