Pane e Vino Providence Ratings and Reviews
Food was delicious and ambiance was wonderful, the service was fantastic! The waiters surprised my dad with a birthday dessert. They surrounded him while singing a beautiful, Italian rendition of Happy Birthday and placed a candle in his sorbet. All in all- we had a very special evening! Thank you! We will be back!
Outstanding service and spectacular food. I had a sea food risotto which was delicious and my date had the veal with artichokes. The veal could melt in your mouth it was so tender. The waiter also recommended an excellent bottle of wine for us. Great place for a date.
While visiting Providence we wanted a italian meal on Federal Hill. Our waiter from Circe Restaurant reccomended Pane E Vino. He was not wrong. It was as good a any restaurant in the North End of Boston. The food was fresh and authentic. Plate sizes well very generous and price very reasonable. It didn't hurt we were there on Monday night and all wines were 50% off.
We had a nice converstion with Nick, the manager, about the history and the food, and how much we enjoyed our dining. He was also very helpful by getting our ride back to the hotel and making sure I was comforable waiting for the ride, because I was on crutches. Thbnak to the entire staff at Pane E Vino fro a great experience.
My date and I had a beyond exceptional experience at this restaurant. This is easily the best restaurant on Federal Hill and one of the best in Providence. From their wine selection to the the food to their service, everything was amazing. Our server, Edward helped us select wonderful wines to pair with our courses. We started off with an appetizer special, Buffalo Mozzarella caprese, imported from Italy! Next, we had the Squid Ink Lobster Fra Diavolo and the Braciola di Maiale. To wrap up the night, we enjoyed some bread pudding which is hands down the best I’ve ever had. We look forward to dining with you again!
initially put at a table against a pole that it seemed they added there to get another table in. I felt closed in and on top of other diners. We asked to move and servers were very gracious about it. I had the special Halibut which was delicious but so overpriced at 34$. I did not ask the price which was my mistake. I am probably not ur typical customer but that dish was too expense. The prices on the menu were reasonable .
Absolutely love this spot! My husband & I have been coming for several years now and we have never, ever had a bad meal or experience. Also a great selection for Gluten Free (which is a must for my hubby). This is a great spot for any occasion or even just because. Would highly recommend - you will not be disappointed!
We were having a family reunion. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and did a wonderful job. Food was awesome. The only negative was that there was another large party next to us and at times, it was difficult to hear the conversation at our table. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend the restaurant to others.
We had a very delicious dinner here at Pane e Vino. We had a very pleasant waiter who explained the several specials being offered that night. He was attentive without hovering. Everything was delicious from the olives and bread to our dessert. I would recommend to our friends.
We visited Pane e Vino for our anniversary and we were not disappointed. The gluten free menu is extensive, and the gf four cheese gnocchi was incredible! My husband ordered the duck confit ravioli, and raved about it. The wine list was nice, both in terms of their by the glass and bottle options.
Excellent experience! Our multi course meal was delicious. Our server Mike was a very accommodating server with a sincere
personality. His assistant was also excellent. The host/hostess and bartender greeted us upon arrival and made us feel very welcome. Even the valet was kind. He was very efficient and complemented my husband on his truck. The value of our meal and wine was outstanding.
Much more reasonable than the tourist traps that we are accustomed to in many Boston restaurants. Overall a wonderful dinner. It was our second visit and we plan to return again soon.
Outstanding service and food. The waiter made some great suggestions for us including the incredible imported mozzarella and fresh tomato appetizer. I had the rack of lamb which was absolutely delicious and my date had the roasted pork chop, also perfectly cooked and delightful.
