    We love it here and always visit several times a year. I would recommend the outdoor patio in the back over the front street dining as it’s so so loud lately, unfortunately. Lots of loud music from cars driving by. The hill isn’t the same as it used to be!! But the food and service here is always top notch. My server last night recommended a red wine that I loved! And they even made a kids size portion of chicken parm for my 6 year old son.

    Excellent food. Duck confit in particular is a very good choice. my niece enjoyed the scallops. I have brought other family members that have enjoyed other pasta dishes. Selection of the Italian wines is also excellent. It is my choice among the restaurants on the Federal Hill.

    We chose Pane e Vino - Providence for the recent Mother’s Day occasion at the very last minute, mostly because we heard how great their Gluten-free menu was. Due to it being Mother’s Day & graduation season, we knew it would be hard to book a standard table, and it was. Called in the day of and spoke to Austin who was amazing & let us sit at the bar instead of outside. THANK YOU AUSTIN!!! Our bartenders for the night were Brian & Sam. We were pleased with the food, service & overall vibe of the restaurant. Food & drinks were DEELISH!!!! Restaurant was a little tight, crowded & noisy…but we managed to enjoy nonetheless. Will def be back in the future & we happily recommend :)

    Six of us enjoyed a wonderful meal here recently. Everything was very good. Only possible thought for improvement would be to not hurry the process so much. We felt a little rushed. I know they have to turn the tables but a larger party may take more than 90 minutes for drinks, apps, entree, and dessert, cordials and coffee. Just saying.

    We went here to celebrate a graduation and everything was fabulous - our waitress was lovely and very attentive. The food came out quickly, but not so fast that we didn’t have time to enjoy the food and conversation. We got the calamari which was some of the best we’ve ever had, the lobster ravioli, cacio e pepe, and chicken parm - they were all 10/10! We will definitely be back.

    What a fabulous evening we had at Pane e Vino celebrating our friend's birthday. The lovely stars scattered on the crisp white linen table cloth with the birthday card certainly made it festive and memorable. We truly savored the ambiance as well as the kindnesses extended to us throughout the evening from the hostess greeting us, from the promptness of our server, to the manager who checked in on us throughout the evening. Two of us thoroughly enjoyed the chicken saltimbocca dish accompanied by perfectly prepared rabe and fingerling potatoes. The kitchen was kind enough to allow a substitution of the potato with some Brussels sprouts for me to keep the carb intake down since I adore the flavor and texture of the Italian bread and cannot stop eating it!! The birthday girl loved the eggplant parm and after enjoying our phenomenal arancini appetizer as well as the beet salad, none of us could finish our entrees, but we were each thrilled to take them home! Great night in every way. Thanks to all at the wonderful Pane e Vino.

    First time here. Food was excellent, there were so many good choices I'll have to go back. I had marked our anniversary on the app and forgot and when we arrived at the table it was covered with rose petals. Nice touch! Only complaint was there were a little over 5 minutes late for our reservation but it was manageable and they made up for it in everything else. Had a lovely super Tuscan, good wine menu!

    I came here for the first time with my boyfriend for an anniversary dinner. The decor was beautiful, food incredible and the service was exceptional, our waiter was extremely attentive while also giving up lots of space and not rushing us whatsoever. We will definitely return!

    Best meal since the last time we ate there. The rack of lamb special was so unbelievable I’m still telling everyone I know about it. Som is a great waiter with a great personality, kept watch over our entire stay.
