Excellent dinner. We had a wonderful waiter. Good to see a place with well trained wait staff.
A friend gave me a gift card to this restaurant and i loved it! We sat out back on their back deck with one other couple. It was quiet and felt like the other couple could hear us talking but overall was nice. Every dish we got was really good! I had the lobster ravioli and WOW. Def recommend
We were in town for a visit and wanted to get a good Federal Hill experience. We picked the right place. All were happy with their choices and agreed it was the best pasta they ever had. We will definitely come again on our next visit.
The hostess brought us to the table where there was a happy birthday greeting and stars scattered over the table.
The food was mouth wateringly delicious. Michael, our server, was attentive and professional!
Good food. Nice wines by the glass.
A bit noisy. Needs valet service.
We met old friends and we’re seated at a booth under brighter lights. Much better than the last time we sat in the dim light. The meal and drinks were terrific. Thanks for a wonderful date night.
Aside from impromptu concert that played dixie the food was great i would come back again and eat inside.
Get Luigi as your waiter
Been there a million times and it’s always FANTISTIC !!!!!
Oh my what a meal.
Saturday night place was packed we had David D for our waiter outsatanding
Food was excellent and the wait staff was exceptional. furthermore, the suggestion of the stuffed veal that wasn't on the menu was better than great.
Always amazing food and service.
They were very accommodating even though traffic made us late. Service was great (Michael had great suggestions) and the food was delicious. We had a great night there!
Wonderful food and drink and excellent service! We'll be back!
Mike was very nice and a great server. Tables were a little close together and music was a little loud on Saturday night. Food was excellent! One of our favorite places!
I had the fungi with veal chop and my sweetheart had the scallops with risotto. For appetizers she had the stuffed figs and I had the grilled octopus. Everything was delicious.
Pane e Vino has been a go to for my wife and I for many years, they never disappoint.
My app was roast ed octopus, whick was outer this world tender. My main meal was sea scallops done just right. Thank you for a lovely evening. Hats off to the waitstaff.
One of our favorite restaurants to have a date night. The food is amazing. We had not been in two years and we realized how much we missed it. Instead of main dishes we shared a bunch of appetizers and the fig/prosciutto special was amazing. New server named Mike was top notch. Thank you for a great first night out!
We sat outside and there were of course some drivers with loud music coming by, so that was a little off putting at times but the food and service are top notch!! Great dirty martini too!
Came for the lobster ravioli and bread pudding and they did not disappoint. Excellent service. Great date spot.
Food is always great! Service wasn’t the best this time. Perhaps a new waiter?? Needed a little more “pep in his step”...We, otherwise we’re happy and content. Drinks were delicious and well made.
Went on a Sunday and sad to say but the service was unfortunately very disappointing for a special occasion. The waiter was not personable or attentive and didn’t even acknowledge the special occasion which was listed in the reservation and confirmed en-route. The place was not that busy but I left frustrated with the experience which was a total let down. Do not think I will be going back.
Great dining experience.... food was great.... service was great
Best food on the hill! Never a disappointing meal and the best service in RI.
All was well. To be fair the street being shut down kind of made it hard to get to. But that is not Pane Vino's fault. Our server was great. Patient, kind and prompt. Her serving skills are flawless.
The food was delicious. I had the Veal Chop. Unbelievable! 4 out of 6 in my reservation ordered that meal and all loved it. We were celebrating a birthday. The small cake and ice cream were perfect and it came with a singalong. Nice touch.
I have been anticipating visiting Pane Vino for some time because I had never been. I must say it was an experience that did not disappoint. Delivered everything I was looking for.
P.S. Do not take my not giving "5" starts as a bad thing. I never give out 5 stars.
We made reservations a couple weeks in advance to sit outside Al fresco. We had a great table where we were able to enjoy the music outside. Our server explained the specials but was unattentive thru out our meal. We purchased an expensive bottle of wine and we noticed most other tables who ordered bottles had it poured for them ours was not (seems trivial but it was kind of odd considering how expensive it was) we really only saw our waiter when we ordered our items.. the food was great. For the amount of money we spent we did expect a different presentation.
Both food and service were terrific - highly recommend!
Extensive menu. Amazing authentic food. Great value and service. Our favorite place on the hill.
Graduation dinner. Very nice. Attentive waitress.
Fabulous meal, great service! Fun place to dine!
We went and got a wonderful spread.
Chefs antipasto was a perfect appetizer.
We got lobster ravioli and pan seared scallops!
It was so delicious, some of the best we ever had. The scallops were like butter. So perfect!
The affogatto and tiramisu were an amazingly light finish to a wonderful course of meals.
My husband and I went there to celebrate our anniversary. When we checked in the host acknowledged our special day and wished us well! We were seated outside in front of the restaurant, since COVID they have closed down some of the street so the restaurants can serve more people. Across the street is a park and a band was playing nice music while we ate. It was a bonus! Our waiter brought us fresh bread and olives in olive oil... nice touch! The food was delicious ... we started with a beet salad that we split and it was brought out on 2 plates. I had the chicken parmesan and hubby had the seafood special which had a scallop, 2 shrimp, and a lobster tail over linguini with a spicy tomato sauce. He loved it!
We usually don’t get desert but wanted to stay longer and we were celebrating our 36 th anniversary picture of some o we ordered the chocolate molten cake with salted Carmel gelato and decaf cappuccino’s. Yummy!
Consistently excellent food and service. A top Providence restaurant. We look forward to valet service returning.
Excellent food and service! Would highly recommend
My partner and I had drinks at the bar having dined elsewhere. Nonetheless, the bartender was wonderful in his efforts to satisfy my cravings for a cabarnet type wine from amongst his Italian red selection. After 3 tastings I settled on one. I was embarrassed at having tasted three but he had no problem with it and would have allowed me more. He even told me where I could buy my selection should I be so inclined - very generous!!
Minor glitches concerning delays and slightly overcooked meat but very unusual for this venue and understandable due to the large crowds of people flocking to the recently expanded restaurant seating in RI restaurants. For us and our family it remains among our favorite dining venues.
Wonderful experience! food, service and seating were perfect. It was so wonderful to feel “normal.”
Went there for my first time and I'll be coming back! The food and wine were amazing!
Luigi was an awesome waiter and the food was OUYSTANDING! Best octopus I’ve ever had, veal chop was great, my sweetheart had the duck with ravioli. Definitely going back!!
