We took our daughter for dinner to celebrate her 21st birthday. Luigi was our waiter and he was awesome. A few of the waiters sang happy birthday to her and it was awesome. The food and service was day and the lemon cello shots were an added bonus.
The food and service were excellent. Not a single complaint
Excellent food and atmosphere.
The live music was so loud it was annoying and it was not what most would consider relaxing dining music, it ruined the atmosphere. While the food and service was good, the whole point of dining at 6:30 and paying thuds prices is to enjoy the company you are with and talk in a relaxing , enjoyable perhaps romantic atmosphere. Many diners left.
All our meals and appitisers were excellent! Service was spot on!
The food was good as usual. They are training a lot of waitstaff so service wasn't as good as it used to be. Hopefully it gets better as time goes on.
Excellent food and great service
Meal was very underwhelming. The restaurant was suggested by friends, and looking at the reviews, we were excited about eating here. My husband had the beef carpaccio to start, which was nothing to write home about. I had the octopus, which was OK…not much flavor…I have had much better elsewhere. We both thought the veal dishes would be great as there were so many on the menu. The menu lists the dishes as veal chops and we asked if it was scallopini (thin slice) and were told it was…the dishes came out as a veal chop with the bone, but pounded down. Mine was very tough and chewy (it was breaded and fried) and no sauce to speak of…just tomatoes and arugula on top. My husband had the saltimbocca and was disappointed as well. The wine list was also disappointing to us as only Italian wines were on the menu…our bottle of Pinot Noir was just so-so. Prices were high for the quality of the meal. Maybe we just didn’t order the right things as it was also “Restaurant Week”. It seemed as though the wait staff was falling over one another, but yet, we’re not efficient in doing their jobs.
Best restaurant on Atwells. The food, drinks and service is fantastic.
Was happy to introduce a friend to a wonderful overall experience.
Thank you !
Wonderful, authentic Italian food. Fresh and full of flavor.
The food was delicious, as was my drink. I tried the Lavender Lemonade and had Cacio e Pepe. Excellent. The restaurant is small and can be loud since the tables are close together. Definitely a good spot for a special occasion
We were sat almost on top of the table next to us. Seems like more tables were added into an already small area. Even the waiter could barely fit between the tables. No privacy at all for us, or the table beside us. Just a so-so experience.
Pane e vino was absolutely amazing. I would go back anytime
some of the best Italian food I have ever had. Pork chop was amazing! Austin, the manager was terrific.
Great service. Wonderful food. Can’t ask for more.
Food & service was amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The food is always wonderful at Pane e Vino as is the choice of wines. Service is always excellent. One of our favorite places for a special occasion!!
Family in town
Incredible food, service and atmosphere. We loved it!
Very good service, very good food, nice night. The menu is excellent and I look forward to eating here again!
Food decent although the fritto misto app was terrible…..tasted like old dirty grease. Worse part was noise level. By the time we left it was almost excruciating. We were in back smaller room….probably worst spot in restaurant. Service slow probably because it was so crowded
Service was excellent, friendly and professional. All food was great except my "medium rare" steak was a little too done. Would return again for another wonderful meal.
A great Italian place to go - great food and impeccable and knowledgeable service!
Both meals were delicious, the anatra duck confit on fig ravioli was astounding. Will go again.
We are here in Providence for the holiday weekend as we moved our daughter here from Wisconsin. Our server, Mike, was outstanding in his recommendations of both food and wine. Our food was authentic Italian fare, from the delicious mussels and polpo appetizers, to the wonderful scallops, gnocchi and swordfish entrees. Best Italian we’ve had in a long time! We’d definitely come back!
We live in LA but come to visit family a few times a year and this place was on our list of places to go. My husband and I came for our anniversary and loved it. Our waiter was amazing and the food was spectacular.
Excellent restaurant with great menu and food
I would have given the food 5 stars but they forgot to put the artichokes in the Carsciofi.
Wonderful, authentic Italian food. Would definitely go back.
Great experience outside on the back patio. The arancini was excellent - the cacio e pepe however left us dissapointed. Very buttery and flavorless. Overall will be back for atmosphere and apps but probably not the pasta
Veal chop was delicious, had 5 in our party and everyone enjoyed their meal. Our server Max was excellent and very knowledgeable about the menu. Will return soon.
Great meal! Highly recommend for a romantic date night.
Quite disappointed with our dinner there last night. Great service from our server Michael, but that was about it!
excellent bartender an service. the food and drinks were top notch
So good to come back to Pane e Vino that was as wonderful as it always had been previously. The absolutely best meatballs on all of Federal Hill, hands down. Can't wait to go back again.
Great host and wait staff in an extremely welcoming environment. Wide selection of wine and food. It was an experience and not just fine dining. Outstanding overall.
Chicken Parmigiana was terribly DRY and no flavor. I asked for fettuccine w garlic and oil instead of the rigatoni. It was homemade and too thick and chewy. The chef should taste before sending out! I wouldn’t recommend or come back.
