    I had dinner here with a few girlfriends on a beautiful Friday night, and we chose to sit outside to enjoy the weather. Typically, The Hill offers a nice al fresco experience, but on this particular night, cars were frequently driving up and down the road, making it loud and a bit distracting. While that’s obviously not the restaurant’s fault, it did impact the overall ambiance. When we were seated, we kindly asked the host to place us with a server who would be attentive, as we wanted to have a good experience and not feel like a forgotten table. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened. Our server seemed disengaged, and the overall service felt lackluster. The food also missed the mark. I ordered the pork chop — something I don’t typically cook myself — and made it clear that I didn’t want it prepared with the breading and glaze described on the menu, as it’s just not to my taste. Despite communicating that, it was brought out exactly as I asked not to have it. The presentation was disappointing, and the flavors just didn’t land. The side dishes were equally underwhelming. None of my friends were particularly impressed with their meals either. This was my first time dining here, and sadly, I don’t think I’ll be returning.

    Everything was excellent, food, service, and ambiance. If I lived in Providence, this would be a favorite restaurant.

    I should really frequent this restaurant more often. It’s a great space with just the right noise level. The menu has numerous options. Our group went mostly with traditional items, and everyone enjoyed their entrees.

    What a great authentic Italian restaurant with a excellent wine selection. Service is always impeccable as well. Highly recommend been back a bunch of times.

    We had an excellent dinner and the service from our waiter Juan was fantastic! I tried the lasagna for the first time, it was absolutely delicious and the portion was more than generous. My friend has a Gluten allergy and I have to say that one of the things I love about Pane E Vino is that they really take care of their gluten free customers. Many restaurants now have a gluten free menu, but they are limited and often feel like it is something they need to offer vs. really wanting to take care of their clientele. At Pane E Vino, the GF menu is robust and they even cook up a batch of fresh gluten free rolls so that GF customers have the same options as non GF customers. If you are looking for great food, atmosphere and service, give Pane E Vino a try!

    Excellent service, food and drinks. Drove an hour to try this restaurant and we weren’t disappointed. We’ll definitely be back.

    Autumn, our waitress, was wonderful. We were dining with our 89 year old mom and she was so kind and thoughtful to her. Wonderful food. We have NEVER had a bad meal at Pane e Vino. It’s a winner as far as my husband and I are concerned.
