   Three long term friends catching up over cocktails and food. The mojitos were fresh and full of flavour a lovely balance. The food was amazing and so quick to our table. We all had a different favourite and mine was the charred corn cob. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend and can not wait to go back.

   Pancho is the best. The food is great, especially the corn. I don't think I've ever been that excited about corn. Margaritas are excellent too. The staff are absolute champions

   Very good food and service by the staff was great..only negative is that more clarification to be made over extremely spicy food..otherwise really good food.we will be back.

   Pancho's is excellent for a meal out with family or friends. Service was attentive and friendly, the authentic Latin dishes were delicious. Loved the fish tacos! Would like to see more veggie food options. Decor and atmosphere were fantastic.

    I love this place. The food is always amazing, but the staff are the best part of this place. They offer great suggestions on their menu, always friendly and make great magaritas. Can't recommend this place enough

    This was the second time we’ve eaten at Panchos in a month. Last time we were returning from SA and we were walk ins. Enjoyed the food and helpful service last time and decided we sold book a high top table for this trip to Ballarat. Service was friendly and helpful while the wait staff did admit to being new or usually working elsewhere. A sign of pandemic times? They ensured the dishes met our dietary needs. The food was delicious and well presented. We ordered the ‘Tengo Hambre’ at $60 PP. The dishes kept coming until we could fit no more and included dessert. Great value and a lot of fun letting the chef choose what would come out. Nice fun and intimate atmosphere.

    Exceptional dinner last night with the Pancho team! We were celebrating our engagement, so did the banquet. Everything was delicious! The staff were lovely and cocktail and mezcal recommendations spot on. Thanks for a lovely night!!

    One of the best restaurants in Ballarat by far. My absolute favourite and the passion and dedication that chef/owner, José, puts in is clearly evident when you see how he interacts with his patrons and staff. Always a memorable dining experience. Gracias!

    The food was delicious but a little too pricey for what you receive. Only rec 'd 3 small pieces of bread with cheese dish but the cost was $18.00 and bread was burnt on one side.

    We had drink recommended by one of your staff and either of us could drink it all , we told two of your staff about it , but nothing seem to come from that we were still charged for that drink a little disappointing as we have been to panchos many times before and love coming there everything was great thank you

    Second time dining at pancho and it was every bit as fantastic as the first, the staff were friendly and helped guide food decisions. The food was absolutely incredible as were the drinks, absolutely love it here and will continue to return

    Terrific place to catch-up with friends and have food that is thoughtful, well prepared and interesting. Waitstaff are engaged and attentive. There is an attention to the little things.

    The dishes were fantastic apart from the lamb taco special. I'd say the ceviche was also cut a bit too thick, easy to look over though wtih that tasty marinade, also happy it was kingfish over swordfish on the night I was there. It was a really excellent take on Mexican and South American cuisine. The tinga de pollo and carnita tacos/tostadas were mouth watering and the empanada was one of the best I have ever had (including in South America!). The Peruvian caramel custard and meringue desert was also absolutely delicious. So happy I found the extra stomach, well worth it. Pisco Sours, Margaritas and Mojitos were also excellent from the bar and our waitress was brilliant, I really appreciate the dry humour and after dinner drink recommendations, thank you.

    We had the meal with several chef dishes. There was 3 pulled pork dishes that tasted the same. Would have been better i if there was a chicken dish..or another option.
