Large group of 13 people. Staff was prompt and the food came out effortlessly on time. Perfect!
The food was absolutely fantastic. My wife and I both got the "Taste of Spain." We sampled through a large number of the small plates and were not disappointed by a single one. The Toffee Cake with salted caramel ice cream was one of the best we've ever had.
Enjoyed the half price bottle of wine deal. Service and food was good but not mind blowing. Very small plates and still pretty expensive.
My friends and I were here for Sunday brunch. The food and drinks were superb! Service was slow and we had to check on our food with our server several times. Drink refills took a while, too, and we had to request them multiple times. The restaurant wasn't too crowded (although there were several large groups), so I was a bit disappointed with the speed and quality of service. It was really loud and we had to raise our voices to talk. But the food was just so good, and it was so nice to linger and order multiple dishes that it was worth it. We'll be back, but hopefully Pamplona will be more equipped to serve our table more quickly and without constantly forgetting to check for our food and drinks.
Service was outstanding and food was equal. Mary was engaging and informative in her presentation of menu and food and even remembered we were there for anniversary and brought dessert! A+ and highly recommend it.
Everything about the restaurant was great. Food, friendly service, reasonable price. I'm not a big sports fan so the TV noise was not something I enjoyed but it was tolerable. I would definitely recommend this place and would go back in a heartbeat!
Excellent experience and food!! The $35 variety offering is a great value!!! Will recommend this place to others as well.
This is one of my go to spots with friends. I like the taste of Spain, which allows you to select from a number of different options. I wish they had a little bit more variety and was more creative with the dishes. But that doesn't stop me from going. The sparkling rose is fantastic.
Wow, my husband and I were both impressed with the clientele, the decor, the vibe, but especially the food. Service was exceptional, too. I ordered the scallops and he had the steak frites. Excellent choices. Well done, Pamplon!
The ribs were the absolute best thing I’ve had in dc period. Unbelievable a must try. We will be coming back to try their all you can eat brunch.
An average and pricey tapas restaurant; however, the food was very good. The waiter had zero personality and at points bordered on rude. I know it must be a pain to keep going back and forth for more tapas. They offer a $35 special for unlimited tapas but everyone at the table must order it. It is a good deal, but adds up quickly.
Great place. Great food. Friday night and really busy and loud, but I had a great time. Really hard to find good parking spots nearby and public parking fills up really fast. The ding here is on Clarendon (Arlington). Streets are dark and signs are not well placed. You car is at risk of getting towed and fined if not careful where you park.
We tried the “taste of Spain” it was all you can eat small plates for $35 it was a great value and service was great. The new fall menu is very good !
Went for brunch with a big party. Food was great, as were drinks! Desserts were a little on the smaller side, but we had great service and they were accommodating!
Lovely plave for weekend brunch. Food is interesting and creative, the service is helpful but the noise leel is difficult to handle.
We had an issue with the food, they took care of us without hesitation. My other visits were great
We did all you can eat small plates which was completely worth it! The taste of the food was really great.
The portions of small plates were sufficient neither little nor a lot, greatly proportioned.
Service on the other hand was weak. We waited to be asked if we were ready to order 10 mins after we got seated. We did not get our drinks until our first dishes came out which was approximately 20 mins later after our orders were taken. If the service gets better, this place would be superb.
This was my second time dining at Pamplona, and all I can say is WOW. Everyone in my party of 4 chose the Taste of Spain option for bottomless small plates. We tried almost everything on the menu and every single item was delicious - especially the gambas, pulpo, and truffled mac and cheese. Our server, Miriam, was fantastic. This place is a seriously amazing value and a perfect spot to catch up with friends over a great meal!
The staff were great and attentive.
Good food with family and kids. All you can eat option was fun for all.
Great small plates and Tomahawk steak. attentive service. If you sit inside, it is very noisy. Better to sit outside if you are on a date.
Wonderful experience with delicious food and even better company!
Not to an Spaniard friend. For Americans is okay. This place still have a lot of homework to do and learn about our flavors and seasonings.
If you like to have a social night with friends, this is your place to be. Customer service satisfactory.
Doing the all you can eat small plates is the way to go. Everything was amazing!
Had an amazing dinner (the $35 dollar unlimited Tapas is a great deal). Plus Tuesday is half price on bottles of wine night, can’t beat that! Chad was wonderful and fun. My friend and I really enjoyed our evening.
Fabulous service. Tasting menu for small plates great deal. Food really great!
Looooved it. Food was amazing and service was great! The food came out pretty quickly and everything was so tasty. 10/10 would eat again. I definitely wanna check out their regular menu though! I only was able to try the brunch items :(
Unfortunately we got off on the wrong foot because our waiter was combative and rude. He was annoyed that our party of six wasn’t ready to order a minute after we sat down. We were also waiting for my husband to join as he was parking the car. In response to my question about describing the watermelon sangria special, he immediately made a face and grudgingly described it. Then he stated “I don’t lie, I’m not going to tell you it’s good if I don’t like it” fair enough- not asking for lies but there’s a way to guide a guest. He didn’t listen to our order - twice - missing dishes from the tapas and dessert. He snapped at questions about the menu and food preparation.
The place itself is cute, drinks are delicious and the food was tasty. However it’s not typically Spanish - it’s a bit of fusion so some items are prepared a bit differently than a typical Spanish place. It’s a bit pricy and the serving size varies - ie lots of mussels for the value but not so much for the shrimp ceviche.
I’d like to give it another try and hope we get a different waiter.
Great! Service, food, drinks. Highly recommend. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable. Everything we had was so good.
It was one the best brunches in DMV area. Every dish that we ordered was delicious and we were able to finish our plates. This is from now onwards our favorite go to bottomless brunch place.
EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. RESTAURANT WAS NOT BUSY, SERVICE WAS SLOW, ORDER WAS WRONG, FOOD WAS SO-SO. WILL NOT RETURN
We went for our anniversary and had all you can eat tapas. Everything tasted incredible. The gun drinks were the best I’ve ever had. Looking forward to going back for the paella.
We have now done the "taste of Spain" unlimited small plates for brunch and dinner and would highly recommend both. The small plates are SMALL so it's worth it and you get to try many things. We will definitely be going back.
A revisit of a favorite local spot. The new summer menu is great - the core is unchanged, but some new dishes (seared tuna, roasted cauliflower) were both excellent. Pamplona has always had great cocktails, but I've started enjoying Gin and Tonics more, and their offerings were superb with interesting gins and delicious herbs and fruits. Service was excellent and the vibe, as always, very energetic.
We didn’t know it was half price wine night! Great deal and excellent food. Service was good as well
Stopped in for a quick bite great food great service
A great place for a casual meal. Our waiter informed us that is was burger night and it didn’t disappoint. Food was quick and service prompt.
Tried the Tomohawk steak for the first time! It was cooked perfectly and was a great combination of flavor! Paired really well with the Cabernet that our server recommended.
Was disappointed with our experience at Pamplona. We ordered 2 small plates and a paella right away. A few minutes after placing the order we saw there was a deal for all you can eat small plates and paella (was never mentioned by the waiter). When we asked if we could do this, we were told we couldn't because the order was already placed and they didn't like voiding things - keep in mind this was maybe 5 minutes after he had taken our order and wouldn't have changed our original order at all. When the paella came out it had breaded calamari, however the menu says it is gluten free. When we asked about this they said they had changed up some dishes but just haven't changed the menu. If I had eaten this, assuming the menu was correct, I would have gotten extremely ill. Our waiter was apologetic and got us a new paella. The food was very good, however the management and staff were very disappointing and really ruined the experience for us. We would definitely not go back nor recommend it to anyone.
