   My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pamplemousse on the Bay, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the vibe, food, ambiance, and customer service were absolutely top notch. We felt warmly welcomed by everyone, especially by amazing individuals like Benoît, Alexandre, and others, who treated us like family and made the day even more special. The dishes were exceptional — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — and the setting by the bay added the perfect touch of relaxation and elegance. Pamplemousse on the Bay has officially become our new favorite place to dine in Miami Beach. We can't wait to return and create more wonderful memories here!

   This is a local's best-kept secret. The food is fantastic -- literally all dishes have incredible flavor profiles with perfect preparation, and the staff does it all from the heart. Not to mention one of the best views and ambiance on South Beach - outdoor seating recommended if you can get it. For a great culinary experience or a simple dish in an intimate setting, with a possible dolphin sighting during dinner, let Pamplemousse & Francois take care of you!!

   The location is very nice , there are not a lot of restaurants on the beach with this nice view. The premises are very nice and comfortable. The staff is nice and making efforts for you to enjoy the evening. Thank you Maeva :) When we ate there, half of the staff was missing so it was disorganized and the food ended up being cold. Prices are high but that ‘s Miami Beach . Ambiance is nice.

   Sitting right on the bay, looking over the water at the Miami proper city skyline was beautiful. We sat outside and were seated right behind a large party who were very loud and there were a couple/few smokers (as well as a small dog that yapped most of the evening). Our server took our drink order and, because most of the menu cocktails didn’t sound appealing, we decided to order ‘easy’ cocktails off-menu. I ordered a Manhattan and my love ordered a Bee’s Knees. The server had never heard of a Bee’s Knees so we broke down the recipe for him and he came back with a vermouth-heavy Manhattan and an espresso martini. He took it back to the bar and returned to explain he wasn’t sure what we wanted so we simply ordered red wine. For food, we started with 1/2 a dozen oysters and some yellowtail hamachi. The oysters were good (simple, small, briny) and the hamachi was meh. For our entrees, we ordered Mediterranean salmon, lobster salad, and an octopus croqueta appetizer as a side. The salad was good. It had a lot of lobster meat and the salad greens seemed fresh. The salmon was cooked perfectly but, seemed to lack flavor. The octopus croquetas were one of the best things we ordered. They were lightly breaded and full of meat.Halfway through dinner, we were treated to an appreciation speech being delivered to a company dinner party through the restaurant’s PA system. Lastly, the check still had the incorrect cocktail on it and we had to ask for it to be taken off. Automatic 20% ‘service charge’ was also a little bit like salt in the wound… All-in-all, we might come back for the view, a bottle of wine, and some appetizers but, dinner and cocktails fell short, for sure.

   We sat outside and there was a nice view of the water and the Miami skyline. My cocktail was very good as was the hummus, though it didn’t come with quite enough pita. Our server was pleasant but did not ask if I wanted another drink or wine with dinner, nor did she check to see how our entrees were, or if we needed anything. I always tip well (generally 20%), but think the server should earn it. When the gratuity is automatically included as it was here, they have no incentive to do a good job. My pasta with seafood was pretty good, but not up to par with other seafood I’ve had in Miami. My husband’s entree salad only had four very small pieces of shrimp on it. We have been to a number of excellent South Beach restaurants similarity priced that were much better in quality, quantity and service.

   Food is good and the setting is excellent, but it is expensive. And though the wait staff are friendly, they are stretched too thin.

    Wonderful lunch at this wonderful restaurant on the bay. The place is gorgeous right on the water which is very rare to find in Miami Beach, it is so relaxing and finally a place without loud music ! The food is really great, the service was good, Alan was really lovely. I have been here twice now, it is definitely one of my favorites ❤️ And by the way Wednesday thru Saturday they have an amazing lunch deal $28 for either appetizer and entree or entree and dessert.
