This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at Pampa’s. I have been here several times and never got the experience that I have gotten our servers were trash. The food was not cooked or prepped to our request. My guess that went with me didn’t even get her food. My steak was bleeding after I asked for it to be medium well more well than done I specify that twice and it still came bloody. I made reservations and still waited 35 minutes after we got seated. We still had to wait another 20 minutes for anybody to even come to our table to offer water, this was just a very, very bad experience. The management looked distressed and had a very bad attitude. I will not return. I will continue to give Frankie’s my business. This was the worst experience ever and I have been to Frankie‘s almost 7 times but I won’t be back. I felt racism. The dining room was packed full of people white and black with maybe five tables of Black people after awaiting for our meal forever. The whole restaurant cleared and it was nothing and no one left but the Black people all the white people got checked out, happily served, and we sat there, and as I looked around the room, we were the only ones left. There were five black tables and only one white table left. I will never return and I don’t encourage any African-Americans to spend their money with these people. I have been to Frankie’s over three dozen times and never got this experience always felt warmed and welcome and that’s why I’ll continue to give my Business.

I’ve been dining at Pampas Steakhouse for the past 15 years and have always held it in high regard. Unfortunately, our Father’s Day dinner this year was a major disappointment. The steak—usually the highlight—was extremely dry and nearly inedible. When we mentioned it to the server, they brought us butter in an attempt to "normalize" the dryness, which honestly didn’t help. Later, the manager also brought something else to try and improve the dish, but it still couldn’t salvage the poor quality of the steak. For a special occasion and considering Pampas' reputation, this was a deeply underwhelming and frustrating experience. I sincerely hope this was an isolated incident, but it certainly left us questioning whether we’d return for future celebrations.

I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened. Always recommend it. Of late, prices have really increased, steaks were still good but not as Great as before. I always was able to cut my steak with a fork but not on this visit.

The ambience was elegant. Servers were attentive and efficient. The food was not at all what we expected. Steaks were marginal. Other items such as mashed potatoes were heavily salted and tasted like instant mix. I was shocked that the appetizers lacked flavor, especially the fried lobster. Will not plan to return. For almost 600.00 for a party of 5, I’d expect better food. I would not recommend based on our experience. First, and last visit.

The hostesses were rude. We let them know we were checking in for a reservation and one of them decided to pick up the phone to schedule the person on the phones reservation rather than asking them to hold. We asked for a booth and was told they were all reserved. Opentable did not give us an option to select booth as an option in the reservation. We were there for 1.5-2 hours and noticed there were multiple booths open throughout our time there We ordered quite to spread and the table felt cramped and crowded. Our servers were incredible. They made redeemed the poor check in experience. The food was also good.
