Genuinely one of the worst dining experiences I have had. For the price point of $55 per person I would have hoped for a more solid offering for both the rodizio and the salad bar. Our server Pri was lovely, but that is pretty much where it ended. Well, the “gauchos” delivering the meat were friendly enough as well. I just feel for the price point there should definitely be better, higher quality items on offer across the board.
The service was very slow both with the server and the people who serve the meat. We made reservations, then had to stand in line. From arrival to leaving was three hours. The food, once we had some, was delicious.
Our reservation was for 6:30. We showed up at 6:25 and waited till 6:42 to be seated. Once seated, we were asked if we wanted the special (bottle of champagne, lobster tails and chocolate cake with chocolate covered strawberries). Our server brought us the bottle of champagne and told us to help ourselves to the salad bar. We asked three times for our lobster tails. And didn’t receive them until 45 minutes after initially sitting down. We had the meat servers approach the table maybe 6-7 times. 3 times with steak, 2 with pork and twice with the sausages. We sat there with empty plates waiting for the meat. After making 2 trips to the salad bar. We even asked our server to please send the meat servers our way. The entire experience was absolutely disappointing. We had to flag down our server just for our dessert and check. As we were paying the two tables next to us (newly seated guests) received their lobster tails right away. Even before receiving their champagne. Ugh!!!! Never again!!! Please note we have been to other Brazilian grills and had the meat servers attend to us in rapid fire to the point we had heaping plates and had to stop meat service.
Will return on our next visit to los Vegas.
Buffet was disgusting, dirty, there is only a few choise of meat. It is very poor for the price you pay. Do not go there!!!!
I have been to Pampas multiple times in the past and always had a great experience. This time was so different, and not in a good way. I had a TravelZoo voucher for two meals and a pitcher of sangria for $69. Our waiter was prompt in asking if we would like the sangria or bottle wine. We chose the sangria and it was great. Other than that, I would not come back to this restaurant. The salad buffet has a poor selection and was not fresh. We arrived at 7 pm and everything was empty or old, it wasn't refilled until around 8 pm. The staff carrying the meat around to tables seemed to rush us into putting more meat on our plates even though our indicator said that we weren't ready. When we said "no" it seemed like we were burdening them, and if we allowed them to cut the meat, we weren't able to eat it fast enough before they were offering us the same selection again. There were a few items that we saw but never were offered and the meat that we were offered was almost cold and very poor cuts. After picking at my food and drinking the sangria, we were ready to order dessert. Our waiter came to our table to ask us if we wanted our check and before I could even ask about dessert he was already leaving the table saying he would be back with our check. We paid and left. I am so disappointed in how much the quality of this restaurant has declined, one of my favorite places has turned into a place I most likely won't return to.
The food was abundant and fresh. The staff was amazing. Definitely worth a visit.
Very disappointed sums up my experience. The service was good, as in the waiter was friendly. We were seated in the bar area, which may have been why we rarely saw a carver or any fresh meats. Most were cold and underdone that did manage to come by our table. Many other tables near us complained to management about the poor experience but I just wanted to get out of there. Would not recommend to anyone even with a coupon.
This was my second time dining at Pampas Las Vegas. I had better memories from the first time. Although the meats were tasty, many were on the overdone side. 3 of the 12 listed meats on the menu, we never even saw. As we were winding down, specifically asked for some MR Picanha. Eventually, we flagged down a waiter with the meat passing by, but it was at least MW.
Really good sides, the rodizzio was amazing.
Best place in Vegas excelente food, service we love it
They did not seem to put any value on our time. we had made a reservation and when we arrived just prior to our res. they had let in 2 large groups of 60 and 80 guest that were not expected hence our time was no longer available. We were told it would be an hour wait beyond our reservation time. They took our number and promised to call us...they did NOT call. We went back after an hour and they said "oh yes we are ready for you now"...what about the promise to call us???
While the food is good, don't expect your reservation with OpenTable to mean anything. Our reservation was for 7 PM, we arrived at 6:50 PM, and we didn't get to our table till 7:45 PM. And we didn't wait as long as others with reservations. The restaurant hosts large tour groups of 50+ and give them priority over individual guests with reservations. They had three tour groups go in WHILE my husband and I waited for our reservation. In addition, they don't give you a buzzer to let you know when your table is ready. Instead, you have to stand around near the doors next to the outside cold and wait to hear your name yelled over the noise.
They overbooked the restaurant. We waited an hour and a half past our reservation time. They ran out of buffet food, ran out of plates, the tri tip was tough. Very unorganized and just a horrible experience. Manager did comp our meal but that just didnt excuse what happened. I will never go back.
Always love going to this place. Food is great and service has always been good. Always go with a game plan for the meat but always get beaten anyways. Looking forward to going back.
I have eaten at several Brazilian restaurants, and in fact had an excellent experience at this one a year ago. However, on this occasion, the service was very poor. Everyone was very nice, and food was outstanding, but it did not make up for service. Usually at this type of place, there are at least six or eight guys walking around with different types of meat, and they visit your table frequently. I don’t know if they were understaffed, but there only seemed to be three guys working and they did not visit our table very often. We waited so long in the beginning that the waitress thought we were slowing down, and I told her we are not slowing down, we haven’t gotten anything yet. When they finally did come around they did not bring all of the meats listed. I never saw any, ham, filet, or ribs just to name a few. As far as the waitress, she was very nice, but did not follow through on things. For some examples: I asked for a spoon because the were out in the salad bar area. She went to get one but never came back until we asked three times. We were seated right by the front door, and it was stuck open. It was a very cold night and a cold draft coming in the door. I asked her if we could shut it and she said yes and said she would do it, but never did. When she saw we weren’t getting served , she brought a menu and said pick what you want and I will get it. She never did. She asked if I wanted a clean plate, and took my old one , but never brought a clean one. The only saving grace was that the food we did get was excellent. Will not return to this location.
The food was amazing, I would recommend going to experience this if you can. however our waiter was nonexistent, waited 20 mins for him to even say high or take our order and then we saw him again we we needed the check...15 mins later we finally get it and he asks us to tip him before charging our card!!! Excuse me? Very unprofessional. And it wasn’t just our table with issues, the couples next to us also complained about how bad he was. Talked with management they were apologetic. Overall I recommend this place. All the other waiter were present and making rounds more regularly.
Took 10 minutes for waiter to appear. No refill of drinks after 15 minutes. Didn't see waiter after initial appearance. Had to ask bus person for drink refill. Aisles too narrow for anyone that is handicapped. Barely wide enough to walk to the 40 item buffet for self service. Really noisy as there is absolutely no sound deadening fixtures in the building. Cram in the people... However the people doing the hand carving were polite and frequent. Food was so-so however. Had better sirloin at Ellis Island for a lot less price.
Not sure making a reservation helped because we weren't seated for 45 minutes after the reservation time.
Food is AMAZING!!! Service was fabulous! Loved the entire experience and highly recommend Pampas Las Vegas. We will definitely be back next time we're in town.
Had a groupon. Great deal for what you got. Unfortunately, I got really sick from something on the menu. The servers were amazing, friendly, generous, and quick. Some stuff we ate was better than others, and the drinks were generously made. If I hadn't gotten sick it would be 5 stars across the board.
My husband and I go to a lot of Brazilian steak houses at home in Pennsylvania. This was not what we expected. The quality of meat was not good. I had a coupon so at least we didn’t pay full price.
Our server was the best part of the experience. He was very nice and accommodating once he saw our “well done” petit filets were pretty rare and bloody. The market station is in too tight of a space for the amount of people and many of the dishes were empty. I asked for a mojito and got a mule instead.
Have been here several times, food speed was a little slow this time and the restaurant was very very cold, perhaps doors open to outside the mall? Had to put a jacket on inside. Servers were friendly and food was delicious as usual.
We went for the brunch menu. They had a great special and a happy hour of drinks. Couldn't have been happier
I was not at all impressed with pampas. The food was mediocre the restaurant was dirty and the service was worse. We had a free dinner and even then I don’t think I’d go back. Our server was not interested at all in serving us and there still was a required 30% gratuity tacked on the bill. We were late to a show or else I would have complained to the manager.
Long wait meat over cooked no Chicken 20 minutes wait for Chicken
Take awhile to get drinks and we had no silverware and I had to have someone clean our table ...
The reservation we made was not upheld by the restaurant. The restaurant was very unorganized and chaotic. The food was not great by any means. Will not be coming back to eat here.
Made reservations for 5:30 pm but still had to wait in line, then for our name to be called, then after seated at 5:55 pm we had to wait 20 more minutes to even get a server to take our order. Despite slow service they still have great food, awesome value. Would recommend to friends for the value where the food doesn’t suffer for it, but warn friends of the service and how they handle reservations (if you have a show to get to afterwards, plan accordingly).
Great service, prompt and helpful. We enjoyed the tasty Bloody Mary's that were gratefully kept refilled. Buffet was very basic, not much variety. Great variety of meats, calamari steaks and the pork loin were my favorites. The surf was disappointing in that it lacked a crab or lobster choice but the buffet did have an imitation crab salad that was delicious. Tiramisu was our dessert choice and it was yummy. They provided a champagne toast and sang happy birthday which was thoughtful. Overall a very pleasant experience.
One of the worst experiences in a "fine dining" restaurant I have ever had. Food was terrible with a capital T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E. We were seated in a horrible location and it was at times 30 minutes before we had a server bring new food to the table. We have a churrascaria in our hometown, the Carnival Brazillian Grille and Pampas is a 10 and this restaurant is a 1. Very disappointed. Literally will never go back.
Where to begin. The meat was mediocre, the seafood (shrimp, mussels, and calamari) were terrible, the salad bar was comparable in both looks and quality to something you would find at Sizzler, the drinks took 30 mins to come out, our table was haphazardly thrown together with a 3/4 empty bottle of water and disheveled flatware, all the tables were squeezed so close together that the servers could hardly get through them, and our server was overtly stressed and kept telling us how terrible a night it was. The restaurant was only half full, so it's hard to understand how everything was being managed so poorly. I would never recommend this restaurant to anybody.
Excellent food. Great value... wont leave hungry. Great drinks as well.
Meat selection for a Brazilian bbq are not acceptable. On top of that they were not cooked properly and mostly over cooked. Not worth the $55 per diner price tag.
The meat was taking a little longer to come. Salad bar was none existent and placed way back in the corner. Kale wasn’t even seasoned.
They brought the same cut of meat around to the tables for 45 mins. By the time they started bringing out other items we were done eating. We had a Groupon and the waitress made sure to point on that the value of the meal was $214. Complete joke, I would not have paid more that $20 per person for what we got. Overall, way overpriced and the food was mediocre.
Only two negatives. Carvers disappeared for long stretches. Finally had to bug server.
This was our first time eating at this type of restaurant. Our server never explained how it worked. We had to ask for clean plates. We had to ask for shrimp. No one served us filet mignon, salmon lamb as stated in their Groupon deal. Very disappointed for the price we paid.
Wasn’t very happy when after the waiter poured our water we were told that it would cost us a dollar. Kinda chintzy. Also I was unimpressed with the filet mignon as I have had way better.
