Great food, service, and ambience. Highly recommended.
So so experience. Very cute inside. Food was uneven: great salad and short rib, undercooked steak. Appetizer was just ok. Overall expensive for what it is!
Lamb chops melted in my mouth. Loved the Red Chimichurri sauce. Had the hard boiled eggs and and Caesar salad which were very good. Got the grilled vegetables and potatoes salad as sides. My friend had the beef short ribs which were quite the presentation!
My husband got the steak. All delicious!
I would recommend and will go back!
We had a delightful time dining at Pampas last night with our friends. Kelsey was our server and while she was brand new she took good care of us. Granted we made it tough by splitting up couples and changing seats once but she coped very well. Bruschetta and melted cheese with chorizo appetizers were great, drinks cold and delicious, short ribs, burgers, salads and truffle fries all all yummy. All in all a great evening
Good vibes. We had 4 cocktails. I recommend the sangria. We also shared the charcuterie, the grilled wedge salad and the lamb. The lamb in particular was delicious. Their chimichurri is smoked and delicious. I recommend trying out Pampas Argentine Gastro pub.
Great food and beautiful interior.
After waiting an hour and twenty minutes for our food (it was not busy) ordered medium well and served rare - wondering what took so long, it wasn't cooking. 1 out of 4 meals was good 1 inedible and 1 barely edible. Also, with only a few entrees on the menu it was surprising they were out of some dishes. Would not go back.
Great simple food. Friendly service
Food and cocktails we’re off the chart. Exceeded expectations. Server, even though first day on the job, it was great personable and learning the trade. Sat on lower level bar side and noise was a little bit aboveLow. Upstairs was much quieter. Definitely will be back.
Our waitress was wonderful! She made great meal suggestions, and really contributed to our whole experience. The atmosphere was really neat & relaxing! We also felt the prices were very reasonable, and we actually split 1, 14 oz lamb entree. We also really enjoyed the charcuterie/wine pairing, as well as the corn side!
First time at the restaurant for my wife and me. We had theProveleta Fundido for an appetizer. It was delicious. We both had the filet mignon which was tender and cooked just right. I had the wine that was recommended by the server and again, good choice. My wife is not a drinker but she decided to try the Blueberry Lemonade. She ended up having a second one. We had the cheesecake for dessert, which was not the typical cheesecake, and excellent. Overall we had a very good experience, with great food and service. Would highly recommend Pampas and we will certainly return.
would love to have argentinian music instead of pop
Entres are very expensive for what you get, however, snacks while drinking are reasonable.
I am so glad that there is such a nice restaurant within walking distance from my house. We had a great meal and wonderful service. Brittany our server was fantastic. The mussels and baked provolone were great appetizers and the flank steak was very tasty.
This was my second visit and I will be back for many more.
First time there and will defiantly go back. Very quaint atmosphere and great attention from the servers plus the food was delicious.
Absolutely loved this restaurant!! The food and ambience are so creative!!! A unique dining experience. We loved our skirt steak with chimichurri sauce , delicious chicken with pumpkin , broccoli rabbe and potatoes. The bread spreads and salads were great too. Our service by Max was perfect! Loved the wine selections and cocktails. We will be back and plan on bringing friends!! Such a great evening. Parking was easy too
Amazing food! Incredible flavors, everything was delicious. Sweet server but may need a busier. Our dirty plates with mussel shells that we had as an appetizer, were never picked up all dinner, even after the check, and we had to ask to have our dinner plates removed. Could be lack of staff which I know is a problem for every business right now. Will definitely come back though. Loved the menu!
In our party of 5, the El Bife was the winner for the entree. We also tried the short rib special this past Saturday as well as the pollo (chicken). The appetizers were all great, we did one of each. The provolone was a hit with the group, the poutine all delicious. Upon getting our appetizers we did have to wait for a server to remind them we needed plates especially since our appetizers weren’t easily picked up since they all had gooey cheese. Once our plates arrived we did enjoy our appetizers. The mussels had a nice sauce. We typically dine more often in OTR or downtown. In comparison, the service could have been a little tighter and a touch more attentive. We missed our coffees entirely with our poached pear dessert. The previous restaurant at this location while they too had some good eats also had consistency issues with service. As a major upside, their cocktails are absolutely delicious as our party ordered a couple rounds of the mule.
Loved the place. The decoration was great and the service fantastic. We will be back for sure.
Food, drink, and service are all fine here, and they've done a good job in terms of the ambiance of this space, which has in recent years has housed two other very good restaurants. I wish they had a somewhat bigger menu, at least in regard to main courses. There was hanger steak, chicken, and salmon, plus short ribs as an special. A couple more alternatives would have been welcome.
We went for Mother’s Day and they were able to accommodate all of us. Our server was informative and attentive. The food, however, was overvalued for the taste and style. We ordered several appetizers (they ran out of mussels) which were just okay. The wagyu burger was good, the salads were mediocre, and the El Pollo entree was very under-seasoned. We also ordered a charcuterie board and were very disappointed by the quality put together.
It was our first time and we were most impressed with how the space has been redecorated. We thought the food and wine were very good.
Overall a great dining experience that we'll do again!
1. Unique atmosphere that was both comfortable & private.
2. Great food, great flavor & great presentation (plating).
3. Professional, polite service (well done Natalie).
4. Main course selection consisted of four options. (No paralysis by analysis!)
Overall Pampas was a great experience for us & we look forward to returning (next time with friends.)
Had high expectations for the food but meals were cold, sandwich bread was like a brick, drinks took forever to come out, several menu items weren’t available, meals were delivered incomplete (sauce missing, sausage, egg, bread and more). I don’t usually leave poor reviews but was looking for more with the pricing for menu we expected more. Plates were smaller as well and some Bloody Mary drinks were half the size of others but same price and came without toppings. Hope this feedback helps the restaurant improve for their future in the industry, would love to see them do well.
Mother’s Day brunch. It was lovely
My daughter took me there for mother's day. we wanted to try a new place. we ordered their Skillet de Desayuno- which is described as potatoes o'brien, topped with chorizo gravy two eggs served with a multigrain baguette. what we received was small round gold potatoes that were in various stages of doneness. I order over easy eggs and got over hard. We didn't receive the bread until we asked for it. We weren't asked what we wanted to drink so we chased down the waitress to order an iced tea that was so dark it looked like coke. When we commented she said she didn't make it. Chased her down for a refill and it was normal. The food was very disappointing as was the service.
Expensive for the food and a really inexperienced server. Cocktails were good. I love the decor. Cozy.
We went tonight to celebrate a friend graduating from her masters program and had a great time! Thanks for having us-the drinks were great!
Loved the atmosphere and food was very good but menu was very limited. Could use a few more options in each category.
A great place to share a meal with that special person in your life. Great atmosphere. Limited menu, but great food with an unusual flair.
Great wine, food with friends....outstanding service....we’ll be back!
It all started with making the reservation. I put that we were celebrating a 30th bday and that I'd like them to do something special. That was a waste as the 2 different servers we had never really welcomed or greeted us, let alone acknowledge the birthday boy.
Our first waiter, the bartender, suggested some bottled wine and we chose one. He came back and said they were out of stock....he suggested a better bottle and said the price would be the same so we ordered it and were upcharged..... When pouring my wine, he spilled some in my water glass, removed my water glass and never replaced it. I had to go to the bar to get water. We had a lot of apps and they were good, at best. The overpriced entres...wagu burgers, steak with frites, steak tacos were all tasteless, overcooked or undercooked. Presentation on plates was nothing and cost was too high.
I was hoping for a complimentary bday dessert to acknowledge the bday and got nothing.
horrible experience in every way
The worst dining experience I’ve had in the past 5 years. STAY AWAY!
I really wanted to like this place but our food was so bland. My salmon and couscous was very boring, and my wife's chicken dish wasn't very good. The cocktails were good, though. and the staff was very friendly.
There were eight of us. Everyone liked their food. Our server was very attentive. It was a great evening.
Drinks were great, food was under seasoned, service was so-so
Service is really slow .... also there is elevator to get 2nd floor since one of my older members had real hard time climbing stairs.
First time here, 3 for dinner, went for Restaurant week. Great eclectic decor. Friendly staff. Good service except for our initial order from the bar, took a long time to get cocktails, subsequent drink orders came quickly, they may have been short handed. Over all we enjoyed it and expect to return.
It was restaurant week so staff was slammed. Overall it was good.
Tried Pampas for the first time during Cincy Restaurant Week. Great atmosphere and food! We will definitely be back.
