Over priced for what it is.
Too much ice in the cocktails.
The food was good but very small portions.
Service was slow.
I used to go to Pampano often and loved the atmosphere and food. I have not been for a while but my friend was coming in town so I decided to take him there. Not sure if that was a bad day, but we were seated in the small space in the back of the bar. Air conditioning was not working in the bar
I have dined here a number of times over recent years and always find Pampano an outstanding experience. The food is wonderful, and every time the service has matched it. I highly recommend Pampano.
As usual everything was very good. I like Pampano especially for out of town guests as it is unusual cuisine, nice but not stuffy and reliable.
My friend and I came here for dinner and she's pregnant with pretty serious food allergies. The waiter and chef were understanding, helpful and accomodating. It was a delicious meal with some of the best service I have ever experienced!
Excellent authentic gourmet Mexican fare with wonderfully attentive staff and a memorable outdoor space for our dinner 😍😍😍😍 We were thrilled and we have a new favorite !!
Really enjoyed my first outdoor meal of the season at Pampano. We did not feel rushed and when the restaurant realized they didn’t have the wine we wanted, they sold us a better one for the same price. Classy! Reliably good, upscale Mexican.
Really great modern Mexican food and fairly good service. The outdoor seating area is really a great addition and the indoor ambiance is really pleasant as well.
Service was really nice, the place and ambiance was as well. The food looked nice, however, the taste didn't meet our expectations. The price didn't match the quality of the food.
We thoroughly enjoyed all our meals, particularly the soups and scallop entree and the shrimp. All very fresh and perfectly seasoned.
We live two blocks away and had never heard of pampano but it was delicious. It’s a big restaurant inside, plenty of room, noise level is moderate.
The chicken with mole was delicious and the staff was really friendly and efficient.
Creative and delicious food complemented by excellent, attentive service. Everyone that I have ever taken here has enjoyed it. The place is always a hit!
Very pretty spot and nice patio, too. The service was kind and prompt and the food and drink were very tasty. Only complaint was that the tacos, which are priced close to entree size, were really small. Not enough for dinner. Otherwise, yummy and would go back!
Mexican restaurant with a lack of atmosphere. Outside seating seems to be nice but stuff refused to offer us a table for 6 despite there was lots of tables available. Beside that service was good.
Food also, but the tacos were average. Try the cheviches, excellent.
Anyway, next time again Toloache.
Amazing food, fantastic staff! Really lovely spot.
Always great. Disappointed that my reservation for 4-17 was cancelled because of some event.
We sat at the bar which was lovely but the service was abysmal and the food was mediocre. I would not return and I certainly would not recommend it.
We’ve been there before and are never disappointed. Always solid.
Not cheap, excellent food, very noisy at lunch.
I loved my time at Pampano. I met my girlfriends there for dinner at 6. The dining room was empty but even around 8 when it was full it wasn’t that loud. The service was perfect and the food was excellent.
Everything was really well prepared, and flavorful. Beautiful restaurant. Felt very Mexico City.
Fist I must say that I don't like spicy food, so Pampano wasn't the best fit for me. That said, the waiter tried to find foods for me, bringing tastes to the table of anything he thought might be spicy. Much appreciated. The service and spaces were lovely. Unfortunately, the paella, at over $30, was mostly just rice. A smattering of not very tasty seafood, and minus the sausage (with nothing extra added to replace it) was an expensive bowl of rice and not particularly tasty. I would not return.
Amazing flavors, creative preparations - a win if you like seafood! Excellent wines as well - we went for a business dinner last year and had to come back this year. Definitely recommend!
Though not alone, the noise level is really high. Like most restaurants, there is little consideration for acoustic treatment. The loud music tries to mask the conversations prompting guests to speak even louder.
Very good Mexican seafood. Significantly tastier and more interesting than most other Mexican restaurants in NYC
Consistently good food and good cocktails. Friendly service. Also great outdoor terrace in summer
Portion size from the past was much smaller and the value therefore was not so good. It seems as if they are cutting corners to create a profit
Great food and service!! My friends and I had a great time. We would definitely come back.
Loved everything! It’s one of my favorite restaurants. How many places have great food, wonderful atmosphere and excellent service? Well this one has it all.
Birthdays celebration. The Tuna entire was delicious!
Great margaritas! The best!
Amazing drinks. Really good food. Amazing service. The only negative comment I have is the main course took a long time but it was Valentine's day so they get a pass.
Amazing food and the drinks were excellent. Just wished they had offered to seat us upstairs where it was more livelier.
Having been impressed in the past, we were underwhelmed. Servings were small and starkly plated. Service as usual was friendly and attentive. Upstairs is too noisy when it’s full.
Cuisine mexicaine revisitée, délicieuse !
Nous avons eu un eu de mal à trouver l'adresse, mais un accueil "muy simpatico" et un très bon dîner : Thank you Opentable :-)
Food was delicious. However, the decor changed since the last time I was there. Before, it was decorated in white with white table linen and chair covers. This time, there was no table covers or chair covers, and it looked plain, cold and ordinary, especially on a cold February night. With the former decor, it had a warm and romantic feel, but I would not choose to go there for a special occasion even though the quality of food is still good. Ambience is important.
This restaurant has gone downhill in service , energy , ambience . Almost feels like a casual diner
Lacks any kind of sophistication or a better dining experience
Food was nice but nothing else. Crossed of my list
A pleasant surprise!
Service excellent, Erick, waitperson, manger, excellent.
Meal very good, creative!
Food and cocktails were excellent, very pleased with restaurant week prefixed menu. Our server was delightful and offered very helpful guidance (I forgot his name 😬, my bad). Tilefish was cooked perfectly.
