It was so pleasant to be in their large, open room that was quiet without being church-like. Attentive service that did not dawdle. My wife loved her paella and I had a marvelous filet. Dessert was the best lime sorbet I can recall having. Excellent house cocktails and very good wine selection. All in all, we were very pleased and will make a point of returning.

Great food on Valentine's day, special menu, excellent Don Julio tequila flight enough for two. Very pleasant atmosphere and attentive staff. Will come back!

I’ve been coming to Pampano for many years but have never reviewed the restaurant. Hopefully the Chef will read this. The food is great. Tasty. Well executed. But it is getting boring. The menu hasn’t changed significantly in a long long time. The service is friendly but clumsy. For example, we were seated but nobody came to our table a at least 10 minutes. The wine list was omitted. Utensils from the previous course were left on the table. Steak knives only appeared after the meat arrived. Glasses were left I filled. A wine chiller appeared after half the bottle was gone. And the list goes on and on. For a restaurant trying to be more than a taco joint, this restaurant needs attention and the chef appears asleep at the wheel.

excellent food and service, most seating and rest rooms are on the second floor. Will need to walk up about 20 plus steps to get there. Some of friends has knee problem may have problem to climb up these steps

We went there for Restaurant Week and as usual the food was great. Unfortunately, the restaurant was very packed so that we did not get to sit in the pretty dining room upstairs but in the much cozier back on the ground floor. A lot less picturesque but the same good food and a lot more quiet. Good for conversation. - We also had to wait a little longer than usual but the service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely go again, and recommend to others.

Food was excellent, service was great. The restaurant was very cold. It was a particularly cold day in NYC, and it was just as cold inside. We were there for almost 3 hours and had to sit with our coats and hats on. The manager was kind enough to check on us, but regardless it was really cold in there.

We had our new year dinner at Pampano. There is a parking garage just across the street which was very convenient as the temperatures that night were really cold. We had a very good time, the staff was friendly, there was a 4 course pre-set menu, with some options to choose from. The food was very good, the salad was great as well as the ribs. The huitlacoche risotto was a bit overcooked. Cayos de hacha (scallops) were a favorite for my wife. Desert were just OK (3-milks cake or chocolate musse). A mariachi band played for about 90 minutes (with some recess), until midnight, and that was fantastic. A glass of sparkling wine was included in the price. At $110 per person, the price was a bit high in my opinion ($90-$95 would have been fair).

Carte un peu limitée pour un 24/12 au soir, rupture de paella a 7h30pm, j'ai moyennement apprécié.... Attention pas de menu enfant donc j'ai dû payer plein pot le plat pour ma fille qui n'a quasiment rien mangé car cuisine trop sophistiquée pour elle. Mon conjoint et moi même avons apprécié nos plats plutôt originaux.

Don't be fooled by the category. This elegant townhouse restaurant is a great place to dine with your special friends and guests. First of all, the ambiance. You feel you are invited to someone's house. Bright and just right, sophisticated decor. And then the food! I ordered a typical Anerican brunch dish, but it wasn't ordinary; every component was carefully crafted. It was over the top.
If anyone has tried extraordinary tacos at their taqueria outpost nearby (if not, I strongly recommend), you know what to expect to eat at this restaurant. But maybe not. You will be surprised still, pleasantly.

Highly attentive service combined with fresh tasty, nicely presented food, made for a great value lunch (choose from 3 course set lunch menu). Upstairs space is very bright and airy and on this lunchtime, was also very quiet.

Fantastic meal. Renaldo, our waiter, was excellent and provided great advice on all matters asked. His recommendations on drinks — margarita Pampano and mescal infused variations — were spot on. On a date night, the two of us split pizza-style corn meal with wild mushrooms and cheese, black bean soup, shrimp cerveche, filet mini tacos, and house risotto with corn and Manchego cheese. Too much food to have dessert, although the options were great.
