Drinks and food were unbelievable, some of the best food in boston
Nate is the best! Food and wine suggestions were the best. Yum!
A thoroughly enjoyable experience! The food and service were outstanding. The design is fun. Having just spent a few days forced to dine (on business) in the incredibly overpriced and overhyped Seaport District, Pammy's was a great pleasure. Not cheap but absolutely worth it. Cocktails were also special, delicious and not silly. All four of us loved it. The one drawback, on a primetime Friday night, was the deafening noise level. The classic high ceilings/hard surfaces noise generation design. We were hoarse at the end of the meal. Use some noise-deadening surfaces, Chris and Pammy, and you will have perfection.
One of the best dining experiences we've had in the greater Boston area. We will def. come back!
Delightful in all ways--warm attentive service, spectacular food, perfect cocktails and wine, and a room that glows. Just wonderful.
Loved everything about the restaurant. The food was amazing. Great ambience a very pleasing dining room and the food was outstanding.
Outstanding all around! Beautiful atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable waitstaff, fantastic food and wine!
Food was good but overpriced. Wine list fine, but seemed intentionally obscure. So noisy conversation was nearly impossible.
We've been to Pammy's several times. The room is beautiful. The food is very good. The service is lovely. But the noise level is more than energetic, is positively abusive. We sat at the communal table, on a corner so we were inches from each other and we were the only two at our side of the table, and we still could barely hear each other over the loud music. The room has no sound deadening materials and is designed to be all marble, stone, and wood. The music is phenomenally loud, especially when the room is half full and there are no human bodies to absorb it. We won't be back and we have reconsidered inviting friends--what would be the point? We couldn't hear each other talk at a table for two, let alone a table for four or six. Unfortunate.
Food was delicious!
we have been several times. Booked for my birthday. A few items that makes this occasion a points off moment, but overall really like Pammy's and will come back.
Noise level so loud that some patrons are projecting so loudly that between the music and them we couldn't hear ourselves or the waitstaff etc. We asked both the staff to turn the music down and one patron to be quieter - ouch our bad!
Food was very good. One dish took exception, yes the waiter offered to 'do something' but didn't actually do anything - so when four people are eating entrees and one is needing something to be done, just do it, or remove it from bill or something. I think that way, I work in service, it is what I do.
Outstanding! Food and Staff
We have enjoyed Pammy's since their opening in Cambridge. The decor is lovely; staff are cordial and well-informed; great cocktails and delicious and inventive food_ but not overly so!
Wonderful evening out! Make reservations in advance.
One of the best meals we have had in Boston this year. Really wonderful food, great drinks, excellent servers and loved the vibe here. Serious food served casually. We will be back as soon as we can get another reservation.
One of the best Italian restaurants I've been to in Boston! Food is creative and melt in your mouth!
Pros: Good ambiance and Great device. Cons: No AC, warm water
Pros: Great food, beautiful decor, charming and knowledgeable staff.
Cons: The temperature outdoors was over 90 and the restaurant was very hot inside. If this was a choice made in support of energy conservation and the environment, then that’s great. However, Pammy’s should alert patrons in advance sow they can plan and dress accordingly. Also, twice the waitstaff rushed my companion and me; twice attempting to remove plates that we had not finished.
A great restaurant, the above comments notwithstanding.
My second time at Pammy's and it just gets better everytime. I love their Negroni's on tap and their Spaghetti 3.2
Fabulous food - a little too loud to comfortably talk with your companion.
Great food and service. A tad noisier than I like.
Having Air Condition put a damper (literally) on the dining experience. Other than that, food and service was great.
Service a little slow. Seating too crowded together. Green salad weak and boring but pork loin best I ever had.
The pasta here is better than in Italy. I can’t wait to go back!
I love this restaurant, but it was too loud to enjoy the amazing food and beautiful ambiance. With the high ceilings and packed room, it was impossible to hear the people I was dining with and the wait staff. We ate our (delicious) food without much conversation because it was too much effort to hear over everyone else. If Pammy's installed sound dampeners on the ceiling and around the room - discretely, of course - it would make the dining experience infinitely better. They're already so close to perfect, but it's the only reason I won't be going back any time soon.
Turn the damn AC on higher.
Excellent food. A little noisy but overall very pleasant
Awesome dinner from start to finish! Mussels were unquestionably the best we ever had. Wild forged mushroom pasta was amazing too. Wagyu steak melted in your mouth. Our waiter was super cool and chill. Ambiance was fantastic. This place looks like something you’d see in a design catalog.
The loveliest dining experience I’ve had so far in Boston.
Mussels were great. Served with lime creme. Very interesting, tasty combo
Pasta with mushrooms boring
They also add a kitchen gratuity onto the bill. I would rather they upped their prices and did away with tipping
The homemade pastas are outstanding! Love the space and decor. Excellent wait staff. Another great meal.
I am always skeptical when a new restaurant gets hyped everywhere, bit this place exceeded the reviews.
The food was great, but it was way too noisy, impossible to talk to the other members of the party.
Pammy's has been on my list for a long time. it was just ok. The specialty drinks were delicious. Pasta very good. The main entree was good but nothing over the top. We waited quite a while for our main dish and the reason that was given was because it was a new item.... It was pretty pricey which I don't mind paying when the food is memorable. The atmosphere and waiter kept this rating at a good.
We were very much looking forward to dining at Pammy’s as we have read much about it. Unfortunately our experience did not match the on line reviews. The atmosphere is great but that was only thing that was great about the entire evening. The service we received was fair. It took forever to get our round of drinks .... both times! Our appetizer was very good but overpriced for what we got. 25 dollars for a very small antipasti platter. Our meals were average at best. I ordered a pork dish... almost flavorless with tons of garlic. The meat was tough or over cooked or both. The breading was flavorless and it was topped with a bed of greens. My husband basically ordered a bowl of spaghetti. The meat sauce was somewhat tasteless and the pasta very thick and chewy. With two drinks each the meal came to 200 dollars and they charged a kitchen fee? We may try it again but overall we were extremely disappointed in the entire evening.
It is very loud but the food is worth it
Great service and atmosphere. But the unique cuisine can not be beat
I have read wonderful reviews and had high expectations. When I finally had dinner there, I found the meal to be just OK. The space is one large room and quite lively - noisy for some people. The service was pleasant. Now the food - mussels tasty but I've had better. The asparagus was good. The halibut was dry and way too salty - a big disappointment.
This is a wonderful restaurant with great vibes and a beautiful aesthetics. Good place to eat healthy--I had no problem staying on my regime. Wonderful service--good tips on wine for my friend.
Upscale, hip restaurant serving relatively simple but outstanding food. Very good service staff. Extremely popular so reservations a necessity. Highly recommended. Only negative is that it is quite loud so don't plan intimate or complex business conversations.
