Excellent everything! We sat down at the 'comunal' table and the experience was great! It still felt intimate, we were able to chat with my wife, and dinner was amazing. The experience is great from the time you come in to check in with the hostess, to the bar, to the wine list, service and of course, food!
Fantastic experience! Exceptional service, great cocktails and tasty dinner. Absolutely going back.
Pammy's is without a doubt the best new restaurant in Boston. Every single dish exceeds expectation. My favorite combo - Snap Pea as well as Burrata appetizer followed by the Pork Chop for entree. TRULY EXCEPTIONAL.
An excellent meal, excellent service and important to get a table to properly enjoy the quality of the food and experience. Sharing the panna cotta with crushed meringue and sliced fresh figs together with an excellent sweet Sicilian desert wine from Lipari was the perfect conclusion.
An outstanding neighborhood restaurant with some unique menu items. But, the steak is much better than fancy steak restaurants. We’ll definitely return when in Boston.
Best octopus I’ve had, but the place is just so incredibly noisy
The food is outstanding, truly top notch.
Our server had a bit of an attitude (no, could not put in an appetizer order without the full order as the kitchen needed the full picture of what we wanted to order, etc).
Very noisy, shouting level. Need to work on sound.
We had a very late reservation on a very very busy evening. While we waited for our table we ordered a glass of wine apiece which did not emerge until well after seating. Service is always gracious if a little slow or lopsided, food was outstanding—we will never return on a Saturday. evening! Far too loud for conversation.
Excellent meal as always. Black bass, octopus and squid ink pasta all delicious. Highly recommend Pammys !
Most creative menu in Boston.
Great wine list.
Loud, but bearable.
Pammy’s never disappoints. Amazing meal - the octopus is the best I’ve ever had; swordfish tacos were delicious and the peach cobbler special with cinnamon gelato was the perfect end to the meal.
Incredible food and service with very well curated wine list with some good values
Excellent everything! Cocktails are great. Service staff is very good at their job. Atmosphere is very cozy.
We've dined at Pammy's several times and have always had a wonderful meal! Pam is a gracious and welcoming host and she and her chef husband have created a fabulous restaurant. Special occasions or casual walk-ins work here!
The creativity in the ingredients and preparation is outstanding! The flavors are complex and surprising! We thoroughly enjoy Pammy's and always look forward to our experience. And the staff appear to enjoy their work as well.
Trendy - the bar was reserve only - not a good customer atmosphere
Food would be 5-star but for dessert.
The best meal I've had in a while in the Boston area. Great wait staff, fun atmosphere. My only issue (and one that would stop me returning) was the very high noise level. It was a strain to hold a conversation between 4 people and really spoiled the evening for me. In ever other way, a very strong recommendation.
Just wish the music was a little softer. Hard to have a conversation....
I rarely write reviews, but I had to for this one. My wife and I are both in the food industry and spend a lot of time at restaurants all over the world. Pammy's was a distinctly memorable experience. The service and decor are what you would expect from a nice new American restaurant – attentive and tasteful. The food was a real surprise though. While we expected a good meal, we weren't expecting the best meal we'd had in years. In fact, both of us had to travel three years back in our memories to our anniversary dinner at Sushi Nakazawa in NYC to remember something comparable. A true masterpiece, from start to finish. The 'Chilled Corn Brodo', Cavatelli, and dry-aged Ribeye were standouts. As we do most of our eating in Providence – which has a very different economy – it is hard for us to be objective about 'value', but in the context of the Boston food scene, this is a tremendous value and worth every cent.
Very good dining experience. We will definitely be back.
Great food. Great wine & cocktails. Apps came a little slow. Service could be tighter overall.
Can’t stop recommending Pammy’s. Excellent food, great service and will be back soon.
My husband and I went to Pammy’s on Friday night for the first time. We sat in the lounge at a small table by the white tiled fireplace. Our first impression was “wow this place is cool” as we looked around and got situated. Although the table was small, our server was mindful of how our food would fit and helped us make proper choices that were also delicious. The food was unique and yummy- an interesting modern twist on high end Italian. The drinks were also delicious and came with guidance from our friendly attentive server. Try the “Spanish Steps!” We had a great time and will definitely be back!
Food was absolutely delicious. Creative. Fun place to eat
Excellent food, always have an exceptional meal. wait staff attentive. Everything we tried was delicious, especially love the pasta dishes.
As always, Pammy's seems a perfect restaurant with great food, well presented, excellently served and it's nice to see Pammy herself present so often.
I would maybe recommend Pammy's but it would depend on how much the noise would bother friends. Too noisy! Really difficult to hear my friend whom I was sitting right next to. With the brick and glass walls, the noise just skates around the room, and I could hear people's conversations sitting at the end of the table. Really, can't you do something? Because the food is wonderful. This was my second time at Pammy's, but I think I can't return, I"m so sorry. Thank you.
Inventive menu and absolutely delicious meals. Excellent servers. We will be back.
Gnocchi was undersized and it was difficult to hear in the restaurant. Pork chop was incredible.
Atmosphere is very nice but get too loud when more than half the seats are filled.
Food was terrible -I could barely lick the plates clean. Kidding: Excellent, imaginative, fresh, creative and truly enjoyable food. Well done.
Truly an outstanding meal with excellent food and wine and impecable service. This is a place I'd go back to again and again
Fave new restaurant in Cambridge and Boston area for sure. Amazing in every regard: service, menu, bar preps, all the staff, atmosphere and even the food - yes esp the food. Worth any extra effort no matter how far away in the city.
We had artichoke marinated, corn brodo, cavateli with anchovies, pork chop with turmeric and spicy pepper, then a strawberry surprise. The after dinner Bully Boy amaro was so good we have scheduled a brewery tour tomorrow night after dinner!!!!
I take anyone in from out of town who appreciate great food and atmosphere. We had an amazing meal and so many laughs. Wonderful place.
This is and has been for a long time my favorite place
The food was both creative and delicious. The space is lovely. The staff was welcoming, professional and attentive. This was our first visit. We will be back.
Just too damn loud. Food was very good to excellent. Antipasti board was good but not very creative -- nothing unusual or new here. Other apps and the entrees were better. Service was outstanding -- servers take a team approach and our water glasses were always full. Did get a bit pricey -- $420 with tax and tip for 4 of us. Yes, two bottles of wine, but they were reasonably priced around $70 each.
We had opted for counter seating, and were placed at the large open format dining room table that occupies the middle of the restaurant. Overall the aesthetic is very well done, chic but relaxed - diners were dressed from sport jackets to t-shirts, depending on age, which ranged from college/grad to late professional.
Food was not insanely adventurous but extremely well balanced and well executed, overall very delicious and every plate satisfying. Surprisingly not too precious, and the portions were generous relative to the current trends in shared plates around town.
The room is loud! And the food was expensive (compared to other "high-end-but-casual-atmosphere" dining experiences like Sarma or Field & Vine). Overall we had a great first visit, and would definitely go back if invited and recommend to someone who hasn't been before, but not on my personal repeat list.
A gurl walks into a bar..... two friends already there yucking it up with the bartender. Jokes and smiles were shared as we were escorted to our table. A booth no less!!
More drink orders were taken, apps shared, more laughter and stories told. Lots of sharing of experiences and food. Our server a delight. As we exited the bartender called our friend over by name! She remembered her drink choice as well. The owner thanked us and we thanked her with a promise to return soon. A lovely fun experience hitting high marks all round. Thank you Pammys. See you soon.
I love Pammy's, but this was a special occasion (my wife's 30th birthday) and I was hoping they would do something to make it feel special. They did not. Not sure I'll recommend for special occasions.
