I adore this place - lovely bar, energetic vibe, amazing service and delicious food. The only negative for me is that they have foie gras/goose liver on their menu. The process used to create that product is intolerably cruel and has no place on any good restaurant's menu - esp anyone concerned with progressive values and humane, healthy food. Their other food is fantastic. Such tasty, creative and clever combinations. Their spaghetti 2.3 is ridiculously addictive. Cocktails are also fun and thoughtfully crafted.
Great meal and service at Pammy’s tonight! We’ll be back
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner. Can't wait to go back again soon. Food was absolutely perfect and the bartenders were top notch if you like creative cocktails. Atmosphere is casual elegance and feels like your in the scene when you're there. Next time, we'll try the community table or bar when we're not on an anniversary date.
This was our second time at Pammy's (belate Mother's Day), and I enjoyed it probably even more this time than the first. There were three of us, and we split three appetizers: the hamachi crudo, antipasti and the cappalletti. All three were excellent and the right size.
For entrees, my mother-in-law had the pork chop (which I had the first time I was there...yum!), and my wife had the branzino; both persons loved their choices. I had the chicken, which had the skin on and was done perfectly. I am not a fan of endive, but the dish was excellent nonetheless.
I highly recommend Pammy's to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or just have a really nice dinner.
Pammy's: always outstanding. Chris' food is always top-notch, the staff fantastic, Lauren's wines superb. It never disappoints. And the new apps, cucumber soup and lamb belly, continue a great tradition.
Our favorite place. 5 visits , never a disappointment.
Fantastic food and friendly staff!! A bit pricey, but probably on par given the area. I will definitely go back again!
Amazing ... can't wait to come back again! Food good and service excellent!
Service was excellent and everything we ordered was delicious!
amazing in all ways! we enjoyed the food, the service and the beautiful room...
The surprise addition of a, "2% kitchen administrative fee," on the bill without prior mention by staff or menu really soured me on Pammy's after an otherwise great experience. If the kitchen wants to charge more, just raise the prices. The food was excellent. The service was decent. But as you can see, the experience was undermined by what feels like fraud.
Great food and atmosphere
Fantastic service, drinks, and food. Mushroom bruschetta never disappoints. This is definitely a top favorite of mine.
Outstanding, creative food! Nice buzz. Good service.
Excellent food, good drinks, delightful staff, gorgeous ambiance
Totally enjoyable experience. From drinks to dessert, everything was superb. Mussels with lime aioli, was a perfect touch. Dipping the delicious bread in the broth was a treat. Spaghetti with Pompadoro was the best tomato sauce I can remember having. That will be among my choices next visit. Chicken was tender and flavorful, nice juices, though the parsley was a bit too plentiful and strong, overpowered the other flavors a bit. Desserts were delicious, rhubarb tart, white chocolate Semifreddo was rich, maybe a bit too healthy a portion for all desserts. 2 for 4 diners would have been enough. I'm booking another few reservations on OT and will try to use them or give them to friends!
Pammy's is amazing for a romantic date or special occasion!
Outstanding innovative plates that far surpass menu descriptions.
We love Pammy's. The mushroom toast is out of this world, and almost everything is outstanding. Impressive servers are fun while they help you pick the perfect flavor combo for your mood. Just a great relaxing place for an extraordinary meal.
Had dinner at Pammy’s after my nephew’s graduation from Northeastern. What a fabulous night! Everything was perfect. We had unbelievably great service all night. The food was sublime. We almost passed on dessert. That would have been a mistake. I really could have eaten one of everything on the menu. I can’t wait to return. Such a treat!
Great service, excellent food, and outstanding ambiance. It’s a little on the pricier side but I would highly recommend for a special occasion.
Great food, drinks and service. I love the approach to the food, classic Italian with a slight out of the box twist (like 90% tradition dish with a fun 10% surprise) that really brought the dishes to a great place. The asparagus dish was perfection and the lumache pasta with bolognese sauce was amazing!. And the ambiance/setting was beautiful and fun. And our server Blake was great!!
No salads! Very hard for vegetarian to enjoy.
Food is great. The muscles appetizer was to die for! They add their own special touch to the dishes. The main entree was a little smaller than I would have liked, but still enough food to fill me up.
Delicious food and good service for birthday dinner. Several others were also celebrating birthdays here for good reason. We did not have a bad dish. We LOVED the mushroom appetizer, which was mounded high with mushrooms! Our main dishes ( bolognese, black bass, and short rib steak) were wonderful: tasty, with beautiful presentation and interesting sides, cooked to perfection. I would say the only less than delicious part was the cocoa nib dessert, which was fine, but not quite chocolatey enough for the birthday boy!
Great food. Outstanding wait staff who were knowledgeable, attentive but not hovering and genuinely nice. Highly recommend the mushroom bruschetta. Highly recommend this restaurant.
The staff at Pammy’s always provides an awesome dining experience. The cocktails were delicious, and the food was out of this world.
Food was quite good but we felt very rushed throughout the meal. No more than a minute or two after ordering our appetizer was served, and our mains came maybe 10 min. later. We tried to take a break before desert but felt pressured to place our order not long after receiving the desert menu. Maybe they needed our table for a larger group? We would have appreciated enjoying our meal at a more relaxed pace. The restaurant is nicely decorated although the seating felt a bit cramped and the waiter seemed to struggle to find an appropriate place to stand when refilling drinks or taking orders. All in all, an enjoyable meal but I wouldn't return; when dropping over $100 on a nice dinner for two it isn't all that ideal to feel rushed and out the door an hour after sitting down.
Great food, attentive staff, great experience as usual.
Really beautiful space- light, airy and full of gorgeous flowers. Staff was attentive, quick, patient, friendly. Food was amazing and delicious. Great flavors, interesting combinations, fresh quality ingredients. A really great experience overall!
I can still taste the subtle vibrant flavors that infused every dish. Asparagus never tasted so good
Great pasta, fantastic ambiance. Really enjoyed the gochujang bolognese. Our two starters were tasty as well, we got the mushroom bruschetta and an asparagus special. The dining room looking out onto the street was lovely in the rain. Can be a bit noisy as it fills up, but definitely worth your time.
Had a great time. Excellent food that was prepared not just cooked. Service great. Place had a great vibe. Wonderful dinner with an old friend
Menu was interesting and the food outstanding! Some of the prices vs proportion were higher then should have been (pasta dishes). It was quite busy, especially at the door as there’s nowhere to wait since you practically walk into the bar.
Overall, a good experience and would return. The servers were quite knowledgeable and helpful. It felt a little rushed as if they were trying to turn seats. The food came out a bit too quickly. One thing to note, we made a reservation for the counter thinking it was the bar and it was the common table. Which is always fun, but there didn’t seem to be seating option for the bar online.
One unfortunate event toward the end of our meal was when a server dropped Pasta and Oil on my husband’s shirt. She dismissed it with a laugh saying “these things happen.” Which they do… But that’s not how one handles it.
This was a fantastic restaurant from the minute you walk into it. The staff, ambiance, food, everything really. I will go back again.
I found space to be romantic, the pasta to be tasty, wine list very small. The servers seem to be a little to attentive and confident that it came off a little pompous for us. I wish they would just be more genuine in the service to match the dining room. Bread was ice cold
Loved it. The antipasto was out of this world. The branzino was perfect with honey crisp apples and artichokes.
The words "I'm not worthy" sprang into my head the minute I tasted the amazing Hiramasa Crudo... and while they list the ingredients very casually, be prepared to have a sensory overload!
When you first SEE the dish you will be trying to identify everything and because of the insane technique and skill this kitchen has, you will struggle to do it fast enough. So just don't. LISTEN to the food runner and be present as he or she explains and identifies the Heart of Palm, Mango, Hazelnut, Sea Beans... bc you are getting so much more than just the text book version...
In fact there is zero here that is text book. I suspect, whenever there is a menu change or opportunity to create they probably just write an entirely new book every time but make it seem effortless.
Getting back to my first plate- the Crudo, try to restrain yourself from diving in too fast, because you will Hoover/EAT this and then you will go from feeling like you are on the greatest adventure to having heart break in under a minute....That said, I do encourage you to use a spoon to eat this dish, to really experience the TEXTURE and ensure you can SMELL that mango puree! Oh and I realize this is going to sound awful... do not share it.
We ate more food, drank and had a wonderful server but I have already rambled way too much... This neighborhood spot is one of those places I have to rave about and wish I didn't, because it just gets harder and harder to get a table.... but it is simple.... as adults we rarely have a moment that is all about us, let this be your moment.
The staff are so gracious. The server remembered me from a previous visit and remembered the details of my preferences and order. (Ryan is a gem.)The decor is warm, simple yet elegant, with perfect lighting. About the food...delightful textures, taste and quality, and the presentation makes me want to take in the aesthetic aspects for a minute before settling in to savor the dish.
I'm looking forward to the next experience at Pammy's.
Best meal we had in Boston. Great meal, service, venue. The chicken was sublime.
