Delicious food. Best meal in several years. The restaurant was packed so service may have been a little slow. It is an attractive space but EXTREMELY noisy, so much so I would have second thoughts about coming back. There are things they could do to dampen the sound, but they are so successful they probably won’t bother.
Fabulous. Just perfect. Every time. My favorite spot in Boston.
Cutest place! So cozy inside. We sat at the communal table but didn’t feel overcrowded with strangers. The flavors in the food were outstanding. We took our waiter’s recommendation for a starter (the lamb) and it did not disappoint. Can’t wait to go back!
Excellent food and service. They were extremely busy and everything was done in a timely manner. My husband and I loved How the servers all worked together. We never even had to poor our water into our glasses... they were all just so on top of it!
great wine paring with food!
Amazon Valentine’s Day dinner!!
Amazing time. Thank you! Everything from service to innovative food. Definitely going back.
Pammy's is absolutely one of my favorite places in Cambridge and one of the best places to eat at in and out of Boston proper.
I loved the place and the food was amazing, very rich and flavory.
Although we had to wait for around 15-20 mins to get our table (after the time of our reservation), it would've been nice to get a free drink or a compliment for making us wait. Our waitress was nice at the begging but then she was not so, didn't even say goodbye when we left, so we felt bad for not leaving a great tip.
The bread!!!! Aakakakskjaja
The service set the tone for an excellent evening. Loved everything about Pammy’s.
I love the atmosphere at Pammy’s! The food is always fantastic and the service is excellent.
My fourth time here. I love it every time, and always find new things to try out.
Great atmosphere, service and food.
Really fantastic food and service. The pasta in particular was unique and delicious, but I enjoyed it all. Nice space, modern yet comfortable. My only complaint was that it was quite noisy and hard to hear other people in my party.
Pammys is great. The octopus appetizer is one of my favorite dishes. All the food was delicious. Went after an ART show and it was a great way to end the night
Our meal portions were tiny and overpriced. I would recommend ordering at least two courses to leave satisfied and be prepared to spend well over $200 if you should also order drinks. While the branzino dish was tasty, we also ordered a bolognese pasta dish that was salty with undercooked pasta. The best part was my drink and the dessert. I would spend my $150 elsewhere and leave with a full belly and try more variety. Service was good but we will not be back.
Pammy's is an absolute gem. The ambience and service could not be better. My only quibble is that the (vegetarian) pasta portions seem to be getting smaller and smaller and just don't compare to the Casarecce.
As always, terrific!
Loved the food and service at Pammy's! My wife is very pregnant, and they said they couldn't seat her until other guests arrived. It was for a reservation for 2 people, and plenty of open seating all around when they said that to her. They did offer a bar seat but typically high seats are uncomfortable for pregnant people to get in and out of. I can understand why they do the policy (because Pammy's is hopping!) but I would ask Pammy's to reconsider having a hard stance on their seating policy.
The food and cocktails were above reproach. However we thought the wine list was overpriced. Trying to go low end we chose a red that came with a pop-top and had no flavor whatsoever. For $52. Sent it back and promptly had the general manager offering us advice on the list. Chose well and still relatively low end on this list at $64. I feel they should look at this mark up on the wines and give customers more of what they are paying for without breaking the bank. Good service and once we got good wine thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Pammy’s consistently captures “special” - the food, the environment, the engaging staff. Whenever we have a questions about the wine selection, we always have a knowledgeable team member address our questions, including frank comments about a wine’s downside. We tried an innovative starter with polenta, endive, and radishes and it was wonderful - a great palette expander. We had the Berkshire pork chop and the venison, both equally lovely; the flavors were savory, complex and new. Even the side dish compliments were excellent. Thanks for a lovely evening!
Pammy and the staff were excellent! Food was top notch.
Cannot recommend this place enough. I feel like I’m bringing it up in the middle of a conversation that has nothing to do with food or restaurants. You walk in to Pammy’s and feel like you’ve been there before. Not because it looks like other restaurants but because of the warm ambiance and combination of vintage but rustic decor, that makes you feel like you’re at the home of a friend. The staff make you feel like you’ve known them for years with their attention to detail and caring demeanor. At that point, the food could have been mediocre and I would have gone back. But it wasn’t. It was delectable, fresh, and memorable. Easily the best mussels and pasta I have ever had. Pammy’s will be hard to beat for best dining experience I’ve ever had.
Rushed service and the food was good, but overly fancy and very expensive. Not bad, but also I was hoping it would be a bit different!
Fav restaurant in Boston. Best service, best food, always amazing.
The food, service and atmosphere are all outstanding. Can’t wait to go back
This was magnificent experience. The bolognese changed my life. Go here, you will be happy.
Great Food - Great People
The staff and Ownership at Pammy's only enhanced the whole experienced. Their attitude, helpfulness and warm personalities made great food even better.
This was our first visit and it did not disappoint. The menu provides lots of variety—both small plates to share and large plates for yourself. The food is delicious, the wait staff is helpful and the beverage options are great. We look forward to returning.
We had heard great things about Pammy’s and were looking forward to a special night out for my wife’s birthday. The waiter was cheerful and the ambience was fun. But the food was nothing special. There were many exotic ingredients listed on the menu - which sounded wonderful, but it did not translate into great cooking. The portions were so small we went home to get enough to eat. The prices seemed high for the quality of the food.
Per usual, Pammy’s was exceptional. I have been several times and never been disappointed with the food, atmosphere and service.
Great food, we went for a birthday!
Food is phenomenal. I have eaten there 4 times and have never been disappointed. Service is also wonderful, friendly, inviting and helpful.
Hands down, one of the best restaurants in Boston-Cambridge. Never disappoints.
Our wedding anniversary dinner at Pammy's, was one of the best meals we've had in ages. Delicious food, marked by unexpected pairings, attentive and friendly service, and a delightful atmosphere combined to make for a wonderful meal. Highly recommended, particularly for anyone celebrating a special occasion.
always fabulous. love the décor, the food, the drinks, the people
What a neighborhood gem Pammy’s is! Enjoyed my first visit with a few dear friends in January 2020. Love the vibe, the charm, the bar, comfy booths and communal table in the dining room! Dinner menu faves included he Halibut crudo, octopus, and squid ink pasta. Admittedly, we found the pork a bit undercooked, and chicken a bit fatty, but that will not prevent us from returning real soon!
Everything about Pammys is incredible. The food, atmosphere, drinks, and service are so unique and so well assembled. Each dish has so much flavor and is so well balanced.
