Very close seating and a bit louder than my taste. Staff was outstanding, knowledgable about everything on the menu and the wine list. Food excellent.
Waited to visit restaurant with my sister Pammy. Was not disappointed! We loved everything ...food,service and ambiance was great!!
It was a pretty busy night for a Monday and the wait was expected. The food was AMAZING. Pretty pricey for the small portions but the quality and service is definitely worth it.
Food and service were excellent on top of a charming atmosphere. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Food is always first rate, as is the service. Lively room, beautifully done. I just wish the room was 20db quieter so I could hear all of the 5 people at my table
Food was very good. Standout dish was the black bass with eggplant. Italian bitter selection was incredible. Price was pretty steep.
Don't trust the "been on our menu the longest" recommendation of the gochu bolognese, that was the only dish we regretted ordering, it was super heavy with cream and oil and there was absolutely no kick from the gochu so really we were just eating a heavy subpar bolognese.
Pammy's presents a beautiful restaurant -- great mix of warm wood, over-sized gilded mirrors, white walls, beautiful foliage and a glowing fireplace -- without being stuffy. It is loud and the room is vibrant, but conversation is still possible. Banquet seating was very cozy and fun. Service was efficient, pleasant, attentive and well paced.
Cocktails provided interesting twists on classics, but not standouts. Mixed bases were a bit off-base. Why a mixed martini with both gin and vodka? Different and just OK.
The octopus appetizer was wonderful, though small in portion and lardo is not a favorite. Snap pea and Jonah crab was somewhat bland in comparison. The black bass, striped bass and lamb chop entrees were each excellent. Apple crostata and sorbet desserts, coffees were fine, but not standouts.
Reservations a must even on weekday nights in this "go to" destination.
Fantastic food but I wish they’d bring back pasta 2.0.
Overall everything was great, food, ambiance, service, without being pretentious. However it is frustrating to have to dine so early 5PM when they were plenty of tables still available by the time we left 7PM. While I understand reservations are a balancing act, and that this restaurant is popular, it is hard to believe that having made reservations 2 1/2 weeks in advance, we could not be accommodated for a slightly later time. Will think twice about going back due tp this constraint.
Pammy’s was great! My co-worker and I celebrated achieving a work goal, and everything tasted great. Loved the ambiance, service was great, and we even got a seat by the real wood-burning fireplace. Desert was the highlight for me!!
Scrumptious and unique food!
Servers are superior ... every time we’ve been they have been super!
I went to Pammy's once before and really enjoyed it. This time, I ordered the Bolognese which was super salty and too spicy. The atmosphere is lovely and the service was great. I just didn't feel so crazy about the food. Lots of odd combinations of things, and too much salt.
Los platillos son buenos pero bastante pretenciosos y el servicio regular
AMAZING MEAL AND ATMOSPHERE... WOULD DEFINITELY COME HERE AGAIN. HAD BURRATA AND SNAP PEA / CRAB APPETIZERS WHICH WERE GREAT. FOR ENTREES, WE ORDERED THE BERKSHIRE PORK AND 2 OF THE PASTAS WHICH WERE ALSO AMAZING. HAD AN APPLE CROSTATA FOR DESSERT WHICH WAS PERFECT FINISH.
Everything was great, except for the noise level and the price: if your music is loud (even in the bathrooms!!), the costumers will have to speak loudly, and the combination is most unpleasant. The food was excellent but a bit overpriced.
We were fortunate enough to get a reservation for four on a Friday night. Dinner was excellent. Pammy's never disappoints.
I totally adore Pammy's . But. I think the fish mains could be tastier and .. are a little on the small side for the price.
Most beautiful and perfect place to commemorate our wedding day!
Great experience - food was delicious and the service wonderful. The only possible drawback, the noise level was pretty high - not the place for a romantic date but totally fun for what it is.
Another great meal at Pammy's! Yummy and inventive dishes and attentive waitstaff. This neighborhood gem is our favorite!
Great food - really memorable. Awesome service.
Unusual food to match the decor. Appetizers are a bit small for the price and it's a bit noisy, but overall the food was delicious, the wine list top notch, and the service attentive without being intrusive.
Food was outstanding. Bolognese is not to be missed, so are the mussels. Rib eye was among the best we ever had. Wow!
We had a reservation but arrived early and ended up sitting at the bar for dinner. Service was perfect and the food outstanding . The portions were just right, the presentation enticing and the flavors outstanding. Who thought a mesclun salad could be amazing and have layers of flavor, we couldn’t get enough of it. And the pasta dishes are to die for! This chef and team have talents that need to be honored. Where are the Michelin scouts?
Fabulous black bass with Italian eggplant and cream of wheat! So flavorful and interesting! As always, the house made bread and olive oil is divine. Thank you.
Noise level was problematic. It was more than energetic, it detracted from the experience
This is the best restaurant in Cambridge with the most creative menu. Always something interesting to try. I had eth best Milanese in the city a couple of months ago. Last night my friend had a pasta with oxtail ragout, coco and horseradish! Great wines by the glass and Pam always seems to be at the front which makes a difference. Plus they have they have Privateer the best rum in New England!
Everything was excellent
Food was exceptional! So many amazing tastes and textures. We will definitely be back :) Great way to celebrate our 5th anniversary.
Great food and attentive, wonderful service. The only comment I’d add was the sound level was so high that it was almost impossible to hear each other without raising your voice to a shout. Sadly, it hampered the sense of communal celebration we’d hoped for, it was a drawback on our experience, I’m sorry to say, as I love Pammy’s.
The octopus is a must! Great restaurant with creative and delicious dishes. Fit for foodies.
It was one of the best meals we’ve ever had!
The risotto app was to die for!! Always a good time at Pammy's!
Warm and friendly staff. Accommodating and delicious food.
Everything was delicious
Excellent everything! We sat down at the 'comunal' table and the experience was great! It still felt intimate, we were able to chat with my wife, and dinner was amazing. The experience is great from the time you come in to check in with the hostess, to the bar, to the wine list, service and of course, food!
Fantastic experience! Exceptional service, great cocktails and tasty dinner. Absolutely going back.
Pammy's is without a doubt the best new restaurant in Boston. Every single dish exceeds expectation. My favorite combo - Snap Pea as well as Burrata appetizer followed by the Pork Chop for entree. TRULY EXCEPTIONAL.
An excellent meal, excellent service and important to get a table to properly enjoy the quality of the food and experience. Sharing the panna cotta with crushed meringue and sliced fresh figs together with an excellent sweet Sicilian desert wine from Lipari was the perfect conclusion.
