This is the first time here and I was celebrating with a friend. Did not know what to expect so I was pleasantly surprised.
The tall drink of water (our waiter) was super nice and friendly with out overdoing it.
I never felt rushed or uncomfortable at the "family" table.
Noise level was reasonable for such a large room and we could converse with ease.
My glass of wine was perfect with the delicious beautifully seasoned pork chop. Bread was fresh along with the premium olive oil.
Other pleasant things like removing our plates when done, refolding our napkins and wiping the table of crumbs all added to the nice atmosphere.
Overall a great evening. I would definitely recommend Pammys for any occasion.
Pammy's is one of my favorite restaurants in Boston, the food and ambiance is great. The menu changes seasonally and always features exquisite items. Love the communal table as well!
The food was excellent, and
We've had better meals at Pammy's. The ambiance is always great, but this time the service was a bit lackluster. The waiter didn't ask me how I wanted my chop cooked or tell me what the chef recommended - or even what the default was. It arrived uncooked (as in: gelatinous inside so less than rare). When I asked that they cook it more, he still didn't ask how I wanted it; it was returned "medium well" (according to the server) but was really only medium.
Great ambiance.. awesome service. Food is fancy but good if you’re a foodie. Lights are too dim so hard to read menus. Space is really tight so every time a server walked passed, they bumped into my chair. Got a bit annoying after the 8th time! Gotta train the staff a bit.
Delicious as always! Wonderful service and a great staff!
Get the barrata and bolognese!
Very friendly and helpful waiters; lovely ambience, very romantic.
It is the best restaurant in Boston!
Great all around
A little too noisy for intimate conversation but overall excellent
We LOVED it!! Fabulous interesting dishes, warm atmosphere. Met the owner and she was lovely.
Fabulous, as always — superb food, attentive but not annoying service, hip but lovely atmosphere — but wow, is it loud.
Communal Seating was nice, Very busy restaurant and loud- deafening. Food was great Service good but a little slow. Younger hip crowd. Overall, great dining. Would return/recommend
Pammy’s is always a great culinary experience and I sincerely like the waiters who are very attentive and seem to be around for long... keep up the good work, my favorite spot in my hometown
It’s the little things about Pammy’s that keep me coming back. The bread–a starting morsel really–is perhaps the best bread I’ve ever had. I haven’t exhaustively
Amazing!!!! Best lumache
Pammy's is a favorite! Casper + Antipasti + Adam + Pinot + Bolognese + Branzino + Apple Crostata = the perfect evening. It's simple math!
We had a lovely dinner at the large communal table. The food and service were excellent. I highly recommend the branzino, although given what I saw from the other diners at the table, I don’t think you could go wrong with whatever you order.
Pammy’s was spot on from start to finish! Thanks for making my birthday dinner special!
Everything was great but it took 20 minutes after my reservation time to get seated after we arrived 15 minutes early.
Excellent restaurant, excellent food, service was amazing and the vibe of the space is incredible. We loved.
Our new favorite Italian restaurant in town.
The food was terrific. There were four of us and we shared dishes, each of which was excellent. The flavors are not overwhelming, but nevertheless unusual. The table was late, but the service recovery was also great--a light cocktail and a complimentary appetizer. Highly recommend this restaurant for a wonderful meal, even if the atmosphere might be better for a friendly, rather than formal, occasion.
Food was amazing!
Excellent food as always - best pork chop ever. The front of the house staff was really accommodating and helpful. Great restaurant.
Friendly, helpful staff. Delicious food. Great pacing on when the food arrived.
One of my very favorite restaurants in the Boston area. Cozy and romantic with amazing food and cocktails.
The restaurant was great, but our server was less than interested in engaging with us about the menu or our experience. She wasn't horrible, but she seemed annoyed all evening...we ended up talking more about the mediocre service than the delicious food :-/
I'll try Pammy's again, but hoping for a better dinning experience.
The hostess sat us early which was really helpful and so nice if her.
All was fabulous. Only complaint was the time it took between courses. It was a busy Friday night but still waited quite a while.
Wonderful time and will return and recommend!
Good was very good. Drinks were OK and wine selection was limited (should be more high-end options). Seated us at an awkward table; one person had to sit on the fireplace. Wasn't very comfortable.
Really great spot, amazing pasta!
Amazing food and great service!
Love this place. Wish it were a bit quieter. Sometimes music is too loud: in my opinion.
If you can stand the noise, Pammy's is a must go - really inventive, excellent food; lovely wait staff who didn't rush the table; some unusual wine choices by the glass - - just great. But, it is so noisy that it is hard to hear people at the table. Felt like we were yelling at each other the whole meal. The restaurant was even crowded still at 10 PM, so even going later didn't lower the noise volume. Will hopefully go back but am prepared for the noise !
My second time around and loved it all over! I went with a friend who is very fussy and he loved it !!!! Food and service excellent, coffee was excellent too
Our table in the corner was perfect for our small family gathering - we could hear each other and enjoy the scene while indulging in fabulous food. It was a lovely evening1
Felt great just walking into the place, the energy, the aromas, the happy vibe. The unfiltered Arneis, delicious, even with that amazing artichoke salad (artichokes kill a wines), so simple, but so much work to prepare. The super delicious yeasty, gluteny house bread with the artichokes might have been enough to satisfy us, but the two pastas were superb, especially mine: the house bolognese with an unusual addition (go find out). The house made pastas themselves cooked perfectly. An excellent bottle of Nebbiolo didn't hurt. Smart, knowledgeable, funny, sensitive people facilitating the experience. We're going back soon, this Friday.
Service was great, awesome food. They also recognized my girlfriends birthday which was great! I plan on coming back.
Fabulous service, food, ambiance and I’ll definitely go back. Awesome cocktails, fresh and unique starters and entrees. Highly recommend the lamb shoulder and wagyu oxtail pasta.
Just love the service and bantering away with the waiters over the meals as well as scrumptious food with wonderful subtle but complex flavours.
It was fine. The food was very tasty but small portions especially for the price. It was less than an hour between sitting down and leaving, with a glass of wine and an entree each - It felt like they were just trying to flip the table. Not the waiter's fault, he was lovely!
