Great vibe, great service!! Food was ok but I could have ordered the wrong dish for my pallet. Apps were amazing!!
Very noisy. Food was good but not a good value. Staff were excellent. Would only recommend to a millennial.
Pammy's is excellent but can be a bit hard to recommend at time. It is exquisitely expensive. The food is excellent, and while it's wonderful that they don't overload you with too much food and create waste, they still charge a full amount for what are essentially small plates. We live close by and would love for it to be our "neighborhood joint," but it's just not reasonable to treat it that was as we'd go broke (two small plates + 2 glasses of wine + tip = $96 the other night). They are very kind, great with children, and have created a fun atmosphere with a focus on excellent food and drink. But it's still priced beyond its value.
Delicious food, excellent cocktails and wine, attentive service, all in a warm if rather loud atmosphere. A delightful experience all around.
I've eaten here 6-8 times since opening. Definitely has slipped. Portions smaller (very small in some cases), some items clearly pre-made and refrigerated, prices keep going up. Unlikely to return
The food was fabulous! But it's TOO NOISY!!!! Please please please put up some sound foam or rugs or something that helps with the noise. I was sitting at the communal table on the corner two seats and still had to cup my ear to hear and shout to be heard. Very unpleasant. I really want to go again as the food was just wonderful, but it's too exhausting to be there! Please?
Pammy’s is a constantly an excellent dinning experience. Professional, engaging and creative bartenders serving outstanding food that is fresh, full of flavor, and and wonderfully presented. It is busy, noisy, and I am often served on a communal table which may not be your thing but has always worked for me. It’s a foodies paradise with an excellent bar that can hold its own with any in town.
Loved the food, the service and the bartender. Unfortunately it is way too loud to have an easy conversation. I love the exposed brick walls and decor but the brick probably is part of the noise issue. If the noise level could be lowered Pammies would be perfect!
Absolutely LOVE Pammy's!
All of us enjoyed the beer, cocktail selection, apps, and main plates even with one being vegetarian and another with dairy intolerance.
Our visit was our first
Highly recommended by a friend as well as Boston magazine .
Our experience was more than what we expected
Not only was our meal amazing
Our wait staff and the One-and only pammy were gentle, kind, outgoing and made us feel like family .we can’t wait to visit again soon . Yum
Great spot. Would definitely recommend. But a bit pricey
My favorite restaurant in Boston/Cambridge right now! EVERYTHING is perfect and Rich and Mia are the bomb. LOVE this place!
Good food and ambiance. The building’s architecture and layout lends itself to a fun and lighthearted atmosphere. The menu was simple , but innovative.
Absolutely loved it. Lauren was fabulous, and our servers took great care of us!!
Food was incredible but noise level spoiled the experience. You need to add acoustical fuzz!
This is my third visit to Pammy's. Food is solid. Nothing memorable that I would have to rush back to have. Prices seem high for what you get. I think more reasonably priced bottle of wine are needed. To top off the evening, a "kitchen administrative" fee was added to the bill. Just what every diner wants to see, another fee added to their bill.
Everything ....everything was great. Thoughtful decorative touches throughout; attentive staff; tasty and memorable food. So yummy and fun!
Creative and delicious. Great food, great cocktails in fun and friendly environment.
Knowledgable and attentive staff.
Wonderful! And communal seating was great too (wasn’t sure what to expect)
Unbelievable as always!
Less noise will help. Otherwise, fantastic food and excellent service.
It was so nice there. We got there early do it was really relaxing. The food was superb. The flavors were just spectacular. Waitress was very knowledgeable about the food which was great. The ambiance was really nice. We loved it.
I heard a lot about Pammy’s and was pretty disappointed. The service was very good. The food and noise level not so much. I’ll give it another try since we live a few blocks away, but it seems over-hyped.
One of my favorite restaurants in the Boston area!
Incredible food, cocktails and ambiance. The Argento cocktail is fantastic and so is the bolognese.
This was not our first visit to Pammy's, but it may be our last. The beautiful main room needs to be reassessed for noise, because it's a cacophony, way past what's pleasant and vibrant. But I wouldn't judge the food by the noise, and the food on this visit was below par. The sweetbreads are very nice, but overly-rich in their buttery presentation. The salt cod, baccala, was a bland porridge without the vital flavor of the cod. The bolognese was far too salty, overwhelming other elements of the dish. The skate wing was very good, but the presentation looked like a flat beige shoe, served with no style whatsoever, just plopped down alone on the large dish with not even a pinch of accompanying garnish. The mussels were very good. The dessert pane cotta was lovely.
The service was okay, but not crisp, especially as the meal wore on toward dessert and coffee.
Consistently an enjoyable experience - recommended!
There's never a dull plate at Pammy's. Creative, eclectic, flavorful, and crave-worthy.
It's just the best! Thanks for the great food and service, and accommodating our increased numbers.
Pammy's was heavenly as always! Excellent food, amazing service, and a lovely atmosphere. Thank you!
Amazing food ! Beautiful restaurant! Fabulous drinks !
Overally hyped restaurant that fails to deliver in the food category. Seems like your typical new age chef trying too hard to be overly creative with ingredient combinations that simply don't work. Would not recommend.
If you are lucky enough to snag a table at Pammys you are in for a treat!!!
The food was unbearably salty! Drinks were excellent, but something must be done about the food.
Pammy's was wonderful and we can't wait to return. There were so many items on the menu we wanted to try that we decided to share. It was very easy to share as we sat next to each other on the long table. The dining area and bar are absolutely beautiful. Filled with artful floral arrangements throughout and accented with a giant mirror with a carved frame on one wall and an open fireplace on the other, there are subtle divides in the room. We had an appetiser of mussels with squid ink arancini that was delicious and raw brussels salad, amazing. We then shared Lumache a "snail" shell type of pasta with a bolognese that was like no other I have had. Our server, Nick informed us there were six different meats used in the sauce. It was ground perfectly with a smooth texture and surprisingly each and every "shell" had somehow acquired just the right amount of meat in it. We had Skate over roasted cauliflower for our main and it was sublime. Beautifully seasoned and with a nice slightly crusty "shell". For desert we were treated to an amazing bread pudding with cherry ice cream. There was a caramelized coating over the bread and the ice cream was oozing onto it as we were debating who would take the first bite. This was a very memorable dining experience that was certainly casual but most definitely special.
amazing, the best meal we had in Boston! Cant wait to go back
We were here for a birthday celebration as noted on the reservation. The server did not bother to bring it up, which was quite disappointing. The food was fine. Seatings were a bit cramped. if you are planning for an important occasion, do yourself a favor, find somewhere else.
Innovative menu - every dish has some sort of twist to it, in a good way! Pleasant open space, a nice bar and a community table for last-minute reservations. Interesting and eclectic crowd. One of my very favorite restaurants in the Boston/Cambridge/Somerville area, and I eat out a lot...
I had recommended Pammy's to many friends and they all love it. Now it's so popular that I cannot
get a reservation for weeks.
My rating on the food was 4star only because of the sweetbreads dish; otherwise, all excellent
Love having you in the neighborhood.
