Lovely service and atmosphere! Expensive for the portions but such is fine dining.
They went out of the way to give us a nice seat for our anniversary, and the food was excellent! The octopus and duck especially. Highly recommend!
Was so excited for this place because of the amazing reviews, but this placed started off on a bad foot. We ran late due to an unexpected road closure, but a call was placed to let the restaurant know and we were exactly 6 minutes late for our 7:30pm reservation time. Not sure what happened, but we ended up waiting until a little after 8pm for our table. We got a cocktail while we waited, then we were sat. This place is very cute and has great atmosphere, but all dishes we had were super underwhelming. Everything was too salty, and we just left with no wow... Despite the 30 minute wait and the fact we didn’t finish most dishes served to us, none of the service staff reached out to ask how we enjoyed everything, nor did they even comp the one drink I had at the bar for the wait. Overall, cool ambiance- but I would not recommend this place for the lackluster food and service.
We loved our experience at Pammy's! The atmosphere is amazing, the staff was so helpful, down-to-earth and personable and the food was outstanding! Pammy's does communal dining right!
We will definitely be back!
What can I say ? Between the chimney, the amazing brick wall and the amazing food. Everything was perfect. The food is another story. You just have to try it because there are simply no words. Maybe one. Amazing.
4 of us had a fabulous experience at Pammy’s. Beautifully designed, very cozy with a chic vibe. We were seated right on time and the service was super friendly and knowledgeable. Sat at one of the very comfortable leather banquets, easy to have conversation and plenty of room. The communal farmhouse table is gorgeous and looked like lots of fun to be with a group weather you knew each other or not. Tables around the 2-sided fireplace looked special too. Food was outstanding, familiar with a twist of unusual flavors that added to the balance, texture and taste. For starters our table had crispy sweetbreads and cod fish cheeks and entrees were duck, bucatini and lumache with bolognese sauce with gochujang. Every dish was delicious. Can’t wait to return. I only wish they offered a simple green salad for a starter....some dishes are served with lovely fresh greens as part of the dish but some not. And 2 more choices for entrees would add to the menu.
The food was excellent; Robust and refined flavors. Especially the Bucatini. I haven't tried anything quite like it before.
Lovely environment for dinner.
I had a great experience dining here.
My one complaint is that our wait staff didn't seem as knowledgeable to the ingredients in the dishes as one might expect from a restaurant with a small menu that could be considered fine dining.
Everything about our date at Pammy’s was fantastic. The service, food, and cocktails were all delicious. I would recommend and my husband and I will definitely be back!
Let me start off that the service was impeccable and the staff knowledgeable about everything. The food was delicious and the wine selection comprehensive. We had both the risotto and the mussels, two of the pasta dishes, and the duck. All were expertly prepared and artfully presented. I would have given Pammy’s all 5 stars if it had a little more room and was a little quieter. It seemed that the sole purpose of the music was to mask the conversations of the guests around you. I would rate the noise level between 7 and 8 out of 10. I am not an expert in city dining and suppose that this lack of space is to be expected. Just a heads up: there is no such thing as privacy or personal space in the whole restaurant. Even with that taken into consideration I would definitely recommend Pammy’s.
This was my second time here. The appetizers and the main courses were phenomenal, as were the drinks. The tiramisu was good but not great in contrast to the rest of the meal. Good (loud) atmosphere, great for a date.
It is my favorite restaurant! I love the vibe, the coziness, and the food is out of this world! We
Had a great conversation with Drew
The best. Very creative flavor pairings.
Great food, wonderful service and a friendly atmosphere
I wanted to like Pammy's because so many friends have recommended it. But service was slow and, worse, the food just didn't taste good. I had the appetizer special - salmon crudo on charred eggplant. It was okay, but the flavors didn't pop or delight. The bucatini with shrimp, pistachio, and chili oil tasted like an ill-balanced pad Thai - too sweet with a chalky texture from the kale - that didn't pair well with the shape and texture of the pasta. Two companions enjoyed their dishes - pork Milanese and casarecce with mushrooms - but the third was disappointed with the carbonara with black truffles. Given the price of the dishes, I won't be going back to try anything else.
Beautiful location, very overpriced, strange 2% kitchen tip. Food had too much fennel/anise flavoring. $14 extra for Amaretto in coffee?
Had a simply FABULOUS time at my birthday dinner last Friday night. The service is unsurpassed and the food beyond delish. The atmosphere is the most romantic and warm in the whole city of Boston!! My only teeny tiny complaint was I was with my best girlfriends and we were anxious to catch up and the music was quite loud so it was challenging to hear each other...but no big deal. Love Pammy's!!! Thank you!!!
Food was delicious! Had the the bucatini and the flavors were phenomenal. Would definitely come back again!
Great food and ambiance. Def coming back!
Kept thinking about the food hours and day after, which is sign of something special to me. Can’t wait to go back!
Adam our server was awesome. Very helpful suggestions on the menu. Teamwork and positive engaging staff was excellent!
Excellent. Love the space and love the food. Wish the staff was a little quicker getting our drinks and taking our order, etc.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back.
The food was delicious, impeccable service, and lovely decor, felt like dining in a Tuscan Villa!
Fantastic experience. Great food. Great service.
It was our first time at Pammy’s and we had a great time. Everything was wonderful, the food, the service, and the atmosphere.
Love the food and atmosphere here! Waitstaff was great, but lacked the seriousness? you expect for the price. Explanations of the food were not appetizing, our waiter described a wine as "super dope," lol, small things like that. It's loud and busy, but I find that enjoyable. I think it's a good date spot!
I was surprisingly....underwhelmed by the food. This restaurant has been on my list of places to try. Maybe
it was an off night.
Wonderful room and delicious food served with lots of knowledge. It's a bit loud for conversation but the atmosphere is 🤗 and friendly.
Don't miss an unparalleled dining experience at Pammy's!
Super nice at the communal table!
My favorite (contemporary) Italian in Boston area.
Top notch food, service and atmosphere. Great menu that is small enough to digest but has enough options that you can’t wait to come back.
Food: Presentation is beautiful but not at the sacrifice of flavor or texture. Every dish has an unexpected twist. Order the bruschetta - they serve it upside down with a piece of house made garlic rub rustic bread on a bed of dice tomatoes and mozzarella.
Drink: Interesting, funky wine list that carries classics as well as the unexpected, off the beaten path wines that you find yourself hunting for the next day. Wouldn’t consider the restaurant a mixology destination but solid bar tending game.
Service: Staff is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Team service environment. Expert on the menu and happy to engage over the food.
Beautiful space and great service. Small menu which allows them to focus on perfecting each dish. We licked our plates clean. Amazing how much flavor was in each dish. On way out the door we booked our next visit. Love going there
Wonderful food, environment and service.
Food was very expensive.
Amazing experience as always st Pammy’s! Came to celebrate a friend’s birthday and it was a winner! Delicious food, great drinks, and the best service.
It couldn't have been better. Really vibrant setup with a cool vibe. Music just loud enough to be overheard over the din of people enjoying themselves. Waiter was helpful in selecting wine and the restaurant made bread was outstanding. After an appetizer of sweet bread my wife had branzino (thankfully for her there was no head on the fish) that she loved. I had duck which was cooked just right and just the right vegetable to accompany it. Worth noting while there were only 4 entrees to select from there were a couple of additional specials to choose from as well.
We will definitely be back.
One of my favorite restaurants in the Greater Boston area. The food, service and drinks are always perfect.
Excellent food, fun and friendly staff, lively atmosphere, would certainly go back again.
Limited menu but interesting. Very "energetic" noise level and we were dining on the late side. Good selection of amaro after dinner drinks. Convenient location between Central and Harvard Square.
Fantastic experience, the service was like a ballet: perfectly timed, elegant, leaving you very happy! Cocktails are a must, the menu is small bu packs a flavor punch. Can't go wrong with anything. And as insignificant as it might sound...the bread was outstanding. Perfect crumb, perfect crust, so soft and delicate inside. Great job Pammy's!
This is my second time at Pammy's and it didn't disappoint. The place was packed when I arrived, but I was seated promptly. I ordered the casavecce and the tiramisu. Both were excellent and had a very interesting mix of flavors and texture. Service was very attentive. Oh, and did I mention that the decor simply transports you to different world with mix of retro meets Italy. I am so happy to have finally found a place for special occassions in Boston that consistently provides great food and service. If you are thinking about eating here, stop thinking and book now! You will not be disappointed.
