Pammy’s is a New American restaurant inspired by the feel of an Italian neighborhood trattoria. Perched between Cambridge’s Central and Harvard Squares, Pammy’s is a cozy yet sophisticated neighborhood destination. For husband and wife team Chris and Pam Willis, who live right up the street, Pammy’s is an extension of their living room. They’ve brought together their love of great food, easy hospitality and chic vibe to create a lively space that is welcoming to all looking for a memorable meal. With dishes that lean heavily on Italian flavors but are not restricted by any rules of the cuisine, the food is unpretentious and delicious. A dual-opening fireplace wrapped in white ceramic, an oversized salvaged communal table designed for side-by-side dining and rich leather banquets are just some of the design elements that make up Pammy’s charm

I have read wonderful reviews and had high expectations. When I finally had dinner there, I found the meal to be just OK. The space is one large room and quite lively - noisy for some people. The service was pleasant. Now the food - mussels tasty but I've had better. The asparagus was good. The halibut was dry and way too salty - a big disappointment.

Upscale, hip restaurant serving relatively simple but outstanding food. Very good service staff. Extremely popular so reservations a necessity. Highly recommended. Only negative is that it is quite loud so don't plan intimate or complex business conversations.

The cucumber soup was divine. The frisee salad excellent.

The sea bass...too many ideas, too complex, muddled result. It's the only dish we've had there that we didn't like after several visits, so we'll go right back (but we'll be wary of complex dishes...)

Happy to have Pammy's in the neighborhood. Food was excellent and seasonal. Especially enjoyed pea pasta. Found appetizers a expensive. Pretty. Nice service, everyone helps out, very friendly. Very nice decor, fresh flowers, Italian antiquities abound.

Another delicious meal in the loveliest and happiest of settings. Pammy’s is the answer for every occasion from the ordinary to the celebratory. I always leave here thinking that I can’t wait to return. It’s perfect.

Have been to Pammy's several times now. Friends rave, but I haven't walked away thinking "I can't wait to go back." I ordered a yummy sounding drink that received unanimous down vote from my and my 3 guests. My black sea bass was way too salty. If I wasn't hosting the dinner I would have sent it back. Credit must be given for their adventurous mock-tails, which have been a deciding factor in choosing it for dinner. (Shame it isn't the food.)

Great food. Very rich. My drink was very good but TINY! And $14. Good service but at times had the feeling they were rushing us but in a quiet way. Had the lamb belly, the short ribs and the rabbit pasta and they were all excellent. Seating very comfortable.

Food very flavorful but less memorable than our first visit six months ago. Very loud due to bad acoustics made conversation difficult. Ask for individual table if you don’t enjoy communal tables.

What a grown-up restaurant. Sophisticated, the. Chef has a great palate, there were great cocktails and wine list, knowledgeable wait staff, appealing ambiance. Our new favorite.

This is the best new restaurant in Cambridge, and quite possibly Greater Boston, though I rarely stray beyond the Charles. Food is meticulously prepared, quality ingredients, beautifully presented. I cannot wait to go back!

Sammy's serves some of the most interesting food in the Boston area. They do creative dishes with fresh ingredients and provide good pairings of their dishes with unusual wines.

Our table were all ex-residents for many years in Rome. So authentic Italian cuisine is our lodestone. The Bolognese was spot on and the cappeletti perfection. The mussels, though not-Italian were subtly dressed. Lumache are okay but prefer homemade fettucine .

Hope you can add carpaccio to your menu sometime. We'll be back

Also Rivers alum and former board member in our party...that's why we were attracted to Pammy's, Chris. Say hi to Dudley.

Terrific food, attentive and knowledgeable service - what more would one want? At first glance one may wonder why greater Boston needs another Italian themed restaurant, but Pammy's delivers an interesting take on the theme - don't expect the "standards" like Veal Parm or Lasagna - my pasta with braised rabbit was unique and wonderful.

We arrived at 9:30, ordered 1 app and 2 entrees, and received our entrees just shy of 11:00. The meat dish we ordered was pretty raw. The server was apologetic, and offered to send it back to be cooked more, but it was late, and we had already been there for nearly two hours. We had multiple waiters which made for a somewhat confusing dining experience, and possibly contributed to our delayed food, but, they were all very kind people.

We went to Pammy's on a busy Saturday night. I had high expectations based on rave reviews from friends. We enjoyed much about our experience but found only one dish (the pasta course) to be excellent - the appetizer, fish dish, and dessert that we ordered were fine but nothing special given the price point. Though we didn't have a bad experience, given all the choices of restaurants in the area, we won't hurry back.

This was my fourth or fifth visit to Pammy's since it opened July 2017 and every visit is better than the last. Great hospitality, service, food and drink. Can't be beat for a special occasion meal in a casual, friendly atmosphere. Wish I lived closer so I could be a true "regular."

This was a second visit to Pammy’s, and our experience was, once again, delightful. Cocktails—Sunset in Capri and Fantasma, were inventive and tasty. We shared the mushroom bruschetta appetizer—it’s very rich—followed by mains of halibut and short rib steak. Service was impeccable, and helpful in making wine choices. Shared a white chocolate semifreddo for dessert—it’s a sizable portion, so sharing is a good idea. A wonderful evening!

I adore this place - lovely bar, energetic vibe, amazing service and delicious food. The only negative for me is that they have foie gras/goose liver on their menu. The process used to create that product is intolerably cruel and has no place on any good restaurant's menu - esp anyone concerned with progressive values and humane, healthy food. Their other food is fantastic. Such tasty, creative and clever combinations. Their spaghetti 2.3 is ridiculously addictive. Cocktails are also fun and thoughtfully crafted.

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner. Can't wait to go back again soon. Food was absolutely perfect and the bartenders were top notch if you like creative cocktails. Atmosphere is casual elegance and feels like your in the scene when you're there. Next time, we'll try the community table or bar when we're not on an anniversary date.

This was our second time at Pammy's (belate Mother's Day), and I enjoyed it probably even more this time than the first. There were three of us, and we split three appetizers: the hamachi crudo, antipasti and the cappalletti. All three were excellent and the right size.
For entrees, my mother-in-law had the pork chop (which I had the first time I was there...yum!), and my wife had the branzino; both persons loved their choices. I had the chicken, which had the skin on and was done perfectly. I am not a fan of endive, but the dish was excellent nonetheless.
I highly recommend Pammy's to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or just have a really nice dinner.

Pammy's: always outstanding. Chris' food is always top-notch, the staff fantastic, Lauren's wines superb. It never disappoints. And the new apps, cucumber soup and lamb belly, continue a great tradition.

The surprise addition of a, "2% kitchen administrative fee," on the bill without prior mention by staff or menu really soured me on Pammy's after an otherwise great experience. If the kitchen wants to charge more, just raise the prices. The food was excellent. The service was decent. But as you can see, the experience was undermined by what feels like fraud.
