Very nice environment but not great food for the price
None of the dishes stood out for the price we paid. The venison was ok but not spectacular. Lobster bisque was excellent. Both the veg pasta dishes were unimpressive for a $25-35 price tag!
The cocktails were fantastic. We loved the atmosphere. Food and service were very good! We’ll be back.
Pammy's is my new favorite. The beautiful ambiance won me over immediately but the incredible staff are the stars. They know their stuff and seem genuinely eager to share their knowledge of food and spirits with guests. Finally, the food. Oh the food. The lobster biscotto - YES!
The Lobster Biscotto is outstanding, a must try. We had reservations for 9:30 pm, and had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. Parking in this neighborhood is a royal pain, after circling several times, we pay parked several blocks away. Despite that, the food was well worth it. Pammy's is a gem, you'd be traveling to Manhattan or the West Coast for food like this.
We love Pammy's. Food, drinks, service, ambiance - it's all there.
Sadly the scale for assessment of noise puts the highest level as "energetic" rather than "difficult to have a conversation across a table for 2". The food was excellent, and the service was nicely done but it was hard to have a pleasant dinner for two of us where it felt that we were shouting. We also felt that the wine by the glass pricing was excessively steep given what was available. In the end we were disappointed by the overall experience despite enjoying the food.
I want the table next to the fireplace next time. I sat at the "communal" table, which was fun. The bread and olive oil was phenomenal. My venison was A+ both in portion and flavor.
Everything was wonderful and we especially appreciated the attention to service!
Excellent all around
Now my favorite boston restaurant!!
Food and service are a ten!!
Always a treat to go to Pammy's! Everyone is super nice and the food is extremely delicious! It's well worth the splurge. Highly recommend.
The food was DELICIOUS the cocktails were outstanding, wait staff friendly and attentive. We had the antipasti and lamb starters, and we got different entrees with rave reviews. Chicken was moist and flavorful so was the branzino and the dessert was absolutely amazing apple crostata was flaky and delicious and the hazelnut torte was just perfect. Highly recommend for all date, anniversary, special occasion heck even a business meal. Would go back again and again.
Really enjoyed it. Added second couple at last minute and hostess accommodated with seating in the “lounge”. I very much appreciated that. It was loud in there, but the best restaurants are.
I love Pammy's. This is my second time here and I'd happily go again. The food is amazing, the cocktails are great, the wines are excellent, and the service is always top-notch. I highly, highly recommend it!
Great atmosphere. I felt like I was in NYC. It was packed. The food was totally delicious. Super flavors. Great service. Enjoyed sitting in the lounge area. Would love to return again.
Fantastic meal. Great ambiance and service. We'll be back!
food & cocktails were amazing, love the ambiance.
Lamb appetizer was phenomenal. Service was great, some one was always there if you needed something.
Has a lovely neighborhood feel, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food is delicious. The pastas are deep with flavor. We ask for bread refills at least three times (and I’m usually bread-indifferent). Dessert (whatever cake offering) is a must.
We love Pammy’s! From the terrific food to the friendly servers to the warm romantic atmosphere, it’s always a wonderful experience. So glad you’re in the neighborhood!
Loved sitting at the beautiful wood communal table - very comfortable for conversation with my friend. Excellent service from knowledgable, welcoming waitress and other staff, delivering courses. Was a pleasure to watch how well and apparently happily they all worked together. Food was inventive and delicious, just the right size portions, neither too big nor too small. Enjoyed the wine by the glass selections. Overall ambience was delightful.
Food was delicious, service was excellent. Favorite item was the red snapper.
One of the best meals we'd ever had. Everything was unique and so well done. We are already trying to figure out when we can go back and try more of the menu.
The food was fantastic. I called in advance about having a gluten allergy and while the waiter was somewhat knowledgeable, I felt like he kept forgetting and I was somewhat disappointed at the lack of flexibility with some of the dishes - the specials and things that may have been prepared in flour that could have been grilled, etc. , no alternatives to a bread basket (possible crudites, etc). Overall though, what we did eat was fantastic.
The dishes were inventive and most were a great mix of creativity and taste. The shared table was a bit awkward and the noise level was very high, but overall a good experience.
Food and service were exceptional.
We went at 6.15 thinking it would be less crowded and noisy, since we had heard about the high noise level from friends. When we entered, the music was so loud, I felt I had entered a discotheque, not an expensive restaurant.
Although, they did lower the volume a little in response to my request, we were all glad to be outside after our meal, and get away from the noise.
Other than the noise, everything was wonderful. Unfortunately, unless the noise is reduced, we won't go back.
I once heard from a restaurant owner that the function of loud music is to get people to drink more and leave sooner. I really don't know anyone who likes loud music if they want to talk, but many restaurants do it.
Delicious food. Best meal in several years. The restaurant was packed so service may have been a little slow. It is an attractive space but EXTREMELY noisy, so much so I would have second thoughts about coming back. There are things they could do to dampen the sound, but they are so successful they probably won’t bother.
Fabulous. Just perfect. Every time. My favorite spot in Boston.
Cutest place! So cozy inside. We sat at the communal table but didn’t feel overcrowded with strangers. The flavors in the food were outstanding. We took our waiter’s recommendation for a starter (the lamb) and it did not disappoint. Can’t wait to go back!
Excellent food and service. They were extremely busy and everything was done in a timely manner. My husband and I loved How the servers all worked together. We never even had to poor our water into our glasses... they were all just so on top of it!
great wine paring with food!
Amazon Valentine’s Day dinner!!
Amazing time. Thank you! Everything from service to innovative food. Definitely going back.
Pammy's is absolutely one of my favorite places in Cambridge and one of the best places to eat at in and out of Boston proper.
I loved the place and the food was amazing, very rich and flavory.
Although we had to wait for around 15-20 mins to get our table (after the time of our reservation), it would've been nice to get a free drink or a compliment for making us wait. Our waitress was nice at the begging but then she was not so, didn't even say goodbye when we left, so we felt bad for not leaving a great tip.
The bread!!!! Aakakakskjaja
The service set the tone for an excellent evening. Loved everything about Pammy’s.
I love the atmosphere at Pammy’s! The food is always fantastic and the service is excellent.
