Food and service were amazing. However it was so loud it was hard to talk.
My boyfriend and I went here for his birthday dinner. We sat in the back room which was pretty loud despite 4 tables being empty. Unlike previous reviews, the music was fine and not overbearing. Our server Maggie was great - she was prompt and made good recommendations. We got the French onion soup and bread for apps - soup was great but bread was 4 bucks kind of ridiculous and is normally complimentary at other places. For dinner we had the braised short ribs and gnocchi, both very flavorful and decent. For dessert, the chocolate dessert was phenomenal. I had made reservations and put that it was my boyfriends bday. The host dropped off a little sign which was nice but I also asked them to put a candle on the dessert (which I also reminded them in person before the dessert) and it never happened. The host stated the chef didn’t listen and this was disappointing. At around 8:50 the manager walked around and loudly stated to his servers they were done sitting and to start cleaning up. We were still eating and it made us feel rushed! I think this reflects poorly on the manager and lack of consideration for the current guests to start cleaning up before everyone has left. Though our service was good and food was decent, we won’t be returning.
Ate here with my husband on a Saturday evening. The food was delicious and service was great.
Outstanding food and drinks. Attentive, friendly and knowledgeable service. Beautiful restaurant! Our favorite in the area.
We enjoyed this meal. First time there.
Food was excellent again. I just love the cheese and meat tray. The rack of lamb was cooked perfectly and love the Bugelow cocktail. Oh, this is my 4th time eating here and I finally had dessert and it did not disappoint.
You must head over to Palomas.
Food was good and service was excellent. After looking over the receipt when we got home I realized we were charged $36 for “fall off the bone ribs” that were never ordered and never hit the table either. So that’s pretty ridiculous. But overall ambiance and food was good.
Hi Sarah, We are very suprised to hear of this charge for ribs, as we don't have any ribs on the menu. May I please know when you dined and what the reservation would be under. Will take a look at your bill and refund you for any erroneous charge. This is not how we operate and we will always care to correct any mistakes. Thank you for your feedback.
Super cute place in Downtown Phoenixville. Great for cocktails, dates, or group dinners with their outdoor seating. Great menu with plenty of diverse options and wonderful service - we will definitely be back!
When we arrived we were given the choice to sit inside or outside. We chose outside because the weather was nice. Our server brought us water and got us the drinks of our choice while we waited for the rest of our party to join. Our drinks & food came out quickly and were absolutely delicious. We had trouble deciding on a dessert and went with our servers recommendation- also a delicious choice! The owner came through several times to check on us and the other tables. My only regret was skipping the baked Brie appetizer, as I’m sure it is heavenly.
We love Palomas!! Always our favorite place to eat in Phoenixville.
Excellent experience, outdoor dining was relaxing and enjoyable. Short ribs, tuna tartare and gnocchi were all excellent and done perfectly. Waited at the bar until table was ready. Reservations for 6 pm, seated at 6 pm.
Fabulous dinner! I had the barbacoa perogies and they were outstanding. Other people in my party got the short rib and oysters. Drinks were delicious. I highly recommend this place.
Everything was wonderful!
The food was delicious. The service was disappointing. When we arrived at 7:30 it didn’t seem extremely busy but we waited for 15 min for water and then another 15 for drinks. We ordered our meal right away since you aren’t allowed to just order an appetizer to get started. Our drinks were just ok not great my mojito had no mint in it…. But when we got our food it was great. We’ve been super excited to try this place out but we won’t be back there are many more places with delicious food and better service.
They were understaffed and had issues due to the recent flooding. But they were prompt and attentive and apologetic. Food was delicious. Would give them another chance for sure.
Thanks for another great meal! We enjoyed it.
Everything was amazing, from the drinks to the main course. Can't wait to go again.
Amazing food and staff!!! Great setting and perfectly nestled in downtown Phoenixville. Thank you for such a great restaurant.
Only disappointment was we could not eat outside. When booking did not say inside only. My friend is teacher so decided to do take out for her portion of meal.
Paloma's in a gem in Phoenixville with great food, drinks and service. It is a perfect spot for any occasion. Please support them as much as you can as they recover from the floods.
Definitely wanted to support Paloma’s after the damage from Ida. this restaurant is one of the best in Phoenixville love their food we were there for brunch it was delicious.
Excellent food, drinks, and wait staff. Would highly recommend.
Fabulous food and attentive service. We dined outside,
Visited Paloma’s for an anniversary dinner. In spite of enduring severe damage from hurricane Ida and only having the ability to seat outdoors, the experience was terrific! Food and service was superb! The town of Phoenixville is helping the businesses on Bridge street by closing down the street on Saturdays; very cool - like a large block party. Nicely done to the team at Paloma’s!!
Always above and beyond our expectations. Staff is absolutely wonderful. Top notch establishment.
Great experience! Service was excellent!!
Palomas has outstanding food, from the fresh baked bread to the entrees and desserts. Their shrimp and grits is amazing. Go to Palomas, you won't be disappointed.
Great dinner out. The food was terrific. Great service. Outdoor dining on the street. First time here. Will be back for sure.
Wonderful food, great service, comfortable outdoor seating area.
We miss Sips but we’ll take Paloma’s. It just doesn’t feel the same and I really would like to understand why the chef requests we don’t scatter our meal (have to order everything at once (starters and dinner). We are the customers and we should be able to order food any time we are seated. We also miss the Sunday brunch.
Thank you for your feedback about your experience last Saturday. As displayed on the sign outside, this was our first day back since hurricane Ida ravaged the area. We had about 5ft of water in our basement. We lost all of our food, some equipment and so much more on Thurs. On that day, we did ask our patrons to order all at once to make it easier to get your food in a timely matter. My apologies if we didn't meet your expectations.
Chef was off
Charcuterie board at $34 was a joke (regular meats/cheeses anyone can buy at any store)
Service so so - not friendly, but ok
Love Paloma's. Its great for a romantic date night or a fun girls night out. Everyone is so nice and accommodating. The ambiance, food and service are all excellent!
Menu creative but flavor just not there. Ambiance and staff both above average. Outside dining could be so much better.
Overall we really liked it. It was definitely loud as it was a busy Saturday night. The food was all good, though I would say the descriptions didn’t fully match the meats, and they definitely need to give you more bread with the meat & cheese plate instead of charging you extra when you have to ask for more so that you can actually finish the cheese. Would go back. The cocktails were delicious.
Good service, nice atmosphere but a food was just MEH for the price.
Fair prices. Good service. Food was very good. Drinks were not well made but the main issue is the noise levels. It's very loud and next to impossible to have a decent adult conversation. If we go again we will bring the kids because it's definitely not a place with romantic ambiance.
Setting is lovely, food is a bit over hyped. I’d say it’s comparable to chain restaurant quality but a little more dressed up visually.
Always get the special...it's the best thing
Nice addition to the P-ville restaurant scene. Refined yet comfortable. Was seated in the back room which was very "echo-y" so we asked for a table in the front room. Waiter was excellent. My partner enjoyed the lavender spritz. I asked for a negroni and what I got was definitely not a negroni. Stick to the drinks on the menu. Our two appetizers were both 5 star. We had the scallops crudo and tuna tartare. Main course we had the two versions of tacos. Partner enjoyed the steak tacos. I found the pork tacos subpar. Probably not a good choice considering the other interesting items on the menu. Will definitely go back, but will not be ordering the tacos.
Dinner was delicious and the service outstanding. Brussel sprouts have never tasted so good! The steak in the Carne Asada Steak Taco was melt-in-your-mouth goodness.
