Nestled in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, built in 1912, The Palmwoods Hotel is a family-owned pub with a stellar reputation for its quality entertainment, laidback atmosphere and great food, including legendary steaks, irresistible seafood, and the best chicken parmigiana on the Sunshine Coast. Our ironic century old pub has all the character and values of yester year with the comfort of today. We pride ourselves on our good old fashion hospitality and delicious food. We are committed to bringing our visitors amazing local produce that is meticulously prepared by our talented team of chefs to deliver the most mouth-watering food you’ll experience in a coast pub.     We are new residents to Palmwoods and go to the Palmwoods Hotel often, either with neighbours or friends from Melbourne & have always had a brilliant meal. When I pre book, I always ask for a balcony table which gives the nicest ambiance. Service is great & the meals are fabulous. We had the combination pizza yesterday which was loaded with rump steak & chorizo…. It was delicious & I’m not normally a fan of pizza’s. The hotel pride themselves by serving great food at reasonable prices.

    Service and food were excellent. We sat on the balcony on a cold evening but the clear blinds were closed and there was a heater near our table so very comfortable. We will certainly be visiting again.

    Very busy and loud (great for venue), not so much for being able to hear your fellow diners. This was probably a one off as it was a very rainy day/night and the place was packed! Also live music downstairs brings the crowd. The only thing I don’t like is having to wait at the entrance for someone to come and get us to take us to our table - this can sometimes take a while (a leftover from covid times). I get why they do it… all in all a great venue with good service and a varied menu.

    Steak ordered was not medium rare, waited over 20 mins for some of our main meals, so we couldn’t eat together. Bar staff did not listen to what we were ordering

    Went this this hotel for mothers. Didn't have our table ready. The sevice was horriblehad to walk around and look for peoole. Had to ask to have the table cleared. The food was nice. We wouldnt recommend this place for mothers day..
