   Excellent service. Attentive, smiling, good food, always there to top off your drink. Went for brunch, excellent.

   This restaurant prepares an excellent brunch on Sundays and certain holidays such as Thanksgiving and Mother's Day. The assortment is excellent and the food is great. The wait staff is extremely responsive.

   The only reason the service was so good was because no one else was there....NOONE! The waiter tried his best, but unless you are staying at the hotel do not eat there. Hints that the food was no so fresh.

   Very comfortable and pleasant. Our waiter was great, attentive and thoughtful, and was especially good with the children (boys 8 and 5).

   I was actually expecting a little "more" since the restaurant is at the Clinton Inn, and is in Tenafly. Clearly the glory days are past for the Clinton Inn. Sad to see... While the staff were wonderful and personable, there were too many of them constantly interrupting to ask if we needed anything. They should keep this check-in to the wait person assigned the table as it was too frequent with so many different faces. The food was fine. Not great, but not bad.

   Food was great, we ordered the bar food during happy hour! Have been there in the past and is consistently good. Would definitely recommend.

   Took my son and family - grandsons 4 and 8 - and it was fine except that it was a particularly noisy Friday night with high school reunions etc. VERY noisy - wish we could have been seated away from the action. Have always found service at Palmer's Crossing excellent but this time the poor staff were stretched and overworked. We won't go again on a Friday!

    Dining room was quiet but that night the bar area was very noisy. Didn"t have first wine ordered. Kitchen did great job cooking for our food allergies.
