   Very nice restaurant. Food was well prepared and had very nice flavors & textures. Service was pretty good. Only drawback was we had a party of 8 and were seated right in front of door. So maybe they have a more intimate large party area, but I didn’t see it. Overall a great experience. 8 people with apps was just over $220 with tip. Worth the money. Will come back.

   Palmeres is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. You can always commit to have a good atmosphere and grape food, with a friendly staff. Makes for a great all-around restaurant for any occasion.

    What a beautiful place...you would never expect a place like that in a shopping center. Calvin, our server, was great. Super efficient and attentive and personable. We loved Daniel the manager...he was so friendly and welcoming and came by the table several times to make sure everything was alright. (He smelled DIVINE!) Even the lady who refilled coffee was so friendly and attentive. Our table was an older group, so the music was a bit too loud for us...but everyone else was young and dancing in their seats! So we ignored it best we could! Great experience.

    Party of four, waited 30 minutes for three beers from the bar, we never even ordered food. If they can’t pour 3 tap beers in 30 minutes, We couldn’t imagine how the food would be! Walked out of the place without drinks or food. Totally disappointed.

    Best place in Killeen by far!! Service was excellent!! There were a few times my baby dropped his toy and before I could even bend over, the manager (assuming so he was in a suite) was already there to pick it up! The server was awesome very attentive and friendly. The food was just amazing! I come from North Austin so it was challenging finding a good brunch place (in Killeen/Heights) that's extraordinary with great service all around! Thank you Palmeras!!

    We had reservations and were seated immediately upon arrival at the restaurant. Ordered appetizers which were delicious followed by our meal which was also delicious. We were served my multiple waitresses and never waited for anything. This was a very above average dining experience.

    I was excited to find a Brunch spot in Harker Heights. The food was just ok and the portion for the American Skillet was surprisingly small. I had far more skillet than I did food.

    Great food! I order Salmon quite a bit at various restaurants. The salmon I ordered here was the best I’ve ever had. Well seasoned, very nice light sauce, and pan seared perfectly! Grilled vegetables and salad were excellent as well, and great salsas!

    I’m sorry, but the service was horrible. After 40 minutes we still didn’t even have the server ask for our drink order. This place looks cool, but the service is terrible and the atmosphere is at best “chaotic”. What’s worse was this was a business dinner with reservations in advance. This place is definitely trying to price themselves and be something they’re not, try Taco Bell instead.

    We have dined here multiple times for both lunch and dinner. Food and service have always been superb. It is not your typical Tex-Mex but considerably more upscale. Menu items are always interesting. Mike the owner is very attentive and definitely will stop by your table to chat.

    Team seemed a bit off their game. Food arrived at different times. Margarita took forever to arrive. However, our server was wonderful and apologetic and the owners were circulating and checking on things. Really good food. Must have been the crazy week of full moon, Covid and Friday 13. I would go back. Hard to find a non-chain in this area. I try to avoid chains at all cost.

    We waited over an hour to receive our order but the owner gave us free drink refills and a desert for our wait. The food was okay but not worth the wait.

    This was my second trip to Palmaras Tex-Mex in a week. I had the salmon again and it was as outstanding as at my last meal. The vegetables that accompany the salmon are very fresh and perfectly cooked.

    This was a business dinner for four people. The food and the service were exceptional. I had the salmon with poblano crema and it was great. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the poblano crema was a nice flavor boost. The owner stopped by our table to ensure that we were having a good evening. Service was prompt and professional.

    The owners were making their rounds and personally said hello to me and my party. They were very nice and accommodating. One of the owners even served us our order, and she made sure that we were okay and that everything we needed was catered for. We initially reserved a table for 5, but one of our colleagues showed up later so we asked for another table to fit all 6 of us. Our server did so without complaint or hesitation. Outstanding service, amazing staff, friendly environment, and excellent food! Totally recommended! #keepinitlocal

    For the first time going to this restaurant, the food was awesome. A little pricey for lunch, but amazing. The service, at first, was good, but then had to wait for drink refills. There were not many people at this particular time, so to have to wait for refills should not have happened. The server was, however, quick with the bill. I ordered the shrimp tacos and they were absolutely delicious. Servers might want to be a little more attentive.

    This is an upscale, and very welcomed option for Mexican cuisine. This isn’t a flood flips and t-shirt run for tacos kind of place either, which I appreciate. It’s a place you can take a date, in-laws or business associates lunch or dinner where they’ll not only appreciate the meal, but also the attentive, well dressed, and friendly wait staff. The food was as visually pleasing as it was to taste. I plan to go back often to try other menu items.

    The kitchen had made a mistake on one order when we requested no seafood. Seafood was with the dish when it came to the window. Instead of our server fixing this issue with the kitchen he asked if it was ok to remove the seafood and still serve the dish. Very unprofessional and off putting.

    This was our second visit and we are hooked! The food is great and the atmosphere is dope! Definitely a spot for a girls’ night or even date night. Great for all ages. You won’t regret it!
