Food was good and the noise level allowed for conversation.
Seriously yummy Mediterranean food. The mini pita bread & garlic sauce are outstanding!!!
The bread was so awesome. I had the toubulah and it was fresh and delicious. My granddaughter had the chicken wings and she said they was good as a Coney Island's.
Excellent food and great service.
The food was good and so was the service!
Fabulous Middle Eastern food at unbelievably affordable prices!
My wife and I love Palm Palace! This is one of our favorite destinations for special occasions. Great all around dining experience! The food is outstanding and the house black tea is the best that I've ever had.
This restaurant is amazing I have never been there before and it is now my new favorite restaurant in Ann Arbor the food was great the value was awesome and our server was even better thank you
We took my daughter and her friend from U of M there for a late lunch. The food and service were quite good. We had a great time. Would go back and recommend.
Great food, great service. Convenient parking. Flexible with requests for separate checks.
Great food, love the Cardamom tea they serve in the lobby. Highly recommend for Mediterranean food. This is on our favorite restaurant list.
Large portions, tasy not salty, good service, good bread.
The items labeled gluten free on the menu are apparently not. They need to retrain staff on preparing and serving gluten free meals.
The food was great and there was plenty
We were seated quickly and all of the staff were
great and professional.
We were visiting family in the area and we will
go back when we visit again.
There aren't many Middle Eastern restaurants outside Dearborn that are really good. I think you need to be in the culture to really get the soul of this cuisine. But, Palm Palace seems to get it.
This is a traditional Middle Eastern restaurant, in all the best ways. The falafel patties are amazing: fried, yet light. The mixed pickles are perfectly seasoned. The hummus and the garlic paste are buttery and rich.
The fattoush portion was enormous, topped with beautifully charred chicken breast. The chicken shawarma wrap is a bargain for $4.99, but a bit dry.
And, the service from Hoda was good...or, as well as she could manage considering how overloaded with tables she was. As the dinner rush set in, things started to come out slower and slower. We had to ask twice for coffee. But, she was such a sweetie that I can overlook that.
Fortunately, the freshly brewed coffee was worth the wait. But, the cups are the kind with the overly small handle, so your hand cramps up after a while.
The baklava was dense and crispy without being too sweet. But, the custard was extremely sweet, though it still tasted so good that I kept going back for more. I won't go back for more rice pudding: it had a weird taste to it.
I will happily meet my brother here again.
Delicious! So much easier than driving to Dearborn for great Mediterranean food.
Good food, huge portions! Be ready to bring some home.
Love that they have added back the Chicken Sajee back to the menu. We had not been going there because it had been discontinued. Wish they had kept both the beef Sajee and the lunch sandwich in pita. We are coming back!
This was our first time here. Food and service are awesome. Lots of picks from menu....We plan to try them all.
This was our second time to Palm Palace and it was another great experience. The service was great (Preston was our waiter and was probably one of the best waiters I have ever had in a restaurant), the food was delicious and the bread and garlic spread was irresistible. We drove about an hour to meet friends there and I would be willing to drive that just for dinner.
Very delicious food!
Preston did an awesome job. Food and service was great. My folks love this place. The Pan bread machine was down; a must try.
This was our first time there. The meal was good but the waiter seemed new to the job, he kept forgetting things like silver ware and refilling but he was well mannered.
Our waiter, Alex, did an outstanding job and helped us choose the best dishes off the menu for our taste preferences.
We reserved a table with Palm Palace because of their fresh and delicious food! The atmosphere is always nice and service has always been good from the moment you walk through the door! We'll be back for our next special occasion or even for lunch!
We had a large party and none of us really enjoyed the food. The service was great, but none of the dishes (including shawarma, kabobs, salmon, chicken tawook, etc.) tasted particularly fresh. Most of it was dry and flavorless. No one in our party thought the food was great, which is a shame because you can get some really amazing Mediterranean food in Ann Arbor for less than half of these prices. On the bright side, the service was good and the free tea provided in the front of the store was very tasty. Still, would not recommend.
So Glad to have the Chicken Sajee back. We did not come for a while because it was not available. Fresh Pita and fresh salads make for a great meal
The food is great, but the service isn't. The last two times I've been to Palm Palace, the servers seemed overwhelmed, Ours didn't return to pick up payment so we decided after waiting awhile to find him so we could pay & leave.
Reserved for my Daughters graduation luncheon..We arrived we were seated immediately.. very friendly staff our server was excellent at accommodating us.
I would recommend highly!
Other in law was in town and she wanted something different. We sat in the room on left this time. Was a little warmer with the kitchen and brick oven but still a good experience. Good good and service. Would recommend again.
We called ahead and requested a seating in the cushioned area with the overhead awnings; we were assured that we would be seated in that area. When we arrived, the servers had no idea that we had done so, and the seats were already taken. We were instead seated in the normal area, which was fine. The servers were very friendly, cordial, and understanding (I was with my grandparents, who do not speak English well). After we ordered, it took about 35 minutes (I checked my watch) for bread and butter to come out with the appetizers; it would probably have been better for the bread/butter to come out first. Besides the lack of seating we were promised and the slow start, everything went smoothly. The food was good, the ambience was pleasant, and the servers were very friendly. I must warn everyone- the portions are HUGE here! They are priced fairly, so unless you are a strong eater, expect plenty of tasty leftovers!
Great service and excellent food.
The food was absolutely fantastic, and the service was very good. The only downside was the noise, which mostly was caused by the very large group seated near us. Other than the noise, it was a great visit.
The food is ordinary. The bread is the exception and is excellent. The waitperson was good.
We've passed this restaurant so many times over the years and are now so sorry it took us this long to try it. Wonderful food. Interesting decor. Nice service. We will be back!
Love the food!! My favorite restaurant. Horrible waitress!! Shorter lady with dark short hair. Thought she would be more familiar with the menu. Asked for lemon for my water twice and never received it. She brought back the same used plate when I asked for more garlic mayonnaise...3 times!!
Husband was craving tabouleh. Great food and service.
Service was absolutely horrible. Waitress wasn’t a good listen and couldn’t remember anything. Finally had another waiter handle our checks. Very disappointing. Requested a table in quiet area. We were shown to a booth. Then got a table, in middle of packed dining room. Food was good. Prices average.
