Definitely not worth the price. I understand that it is all you can eat, which is great, but the quality of food is just not up to par. We went for thanksgiving brunch and the pies looked like they were from Kroger. Great concept but poor execution. Would love to come back but just need the quality to match the price tag 👍

Thanksgiving - This was the first time we had been to the Palm Court buffet. We showed up 15 minutes prior to our reservation, but were actually seated about 15 minutes past the reservation. Since they only allow a specific amount of time for each size party, this made us a little nervous, but it appeared the delay was because they were not, in fact, holding people to their time (which I'm good with). It took an unusually long time (5-10 minutes) for someone to stop by our table to get a drink order and explain the buffet (again, we felt the clock ticking), but after that she was attentive. The food was decent, though the cheese plate had been decimated and it took a long time for them to bring a replacement. Choice was good, especially fish. The crowd was older, perhaps a little older than we felt like we fit in with. Valet parking was easy and quick and the meal was good; however, I am not sure it was worth $250 for two people (with a drink). I was glad we went but next time will probably opt for a really upscale restaurant for the same price.

We were seated right away and found the buffet to be beautiful and well stocked. One disappointment was that there weren’t any mashed potatoes with the Thanksgiving turkey. I tried the turkey and the prime rib (ham was offered as well). Both were tender and very good. Many sides were offered as well as multiple desserts in near bite size pieces. Loved that! We could sample a wide variety of sweet treats at meal’s end. Service was very good as was the valet parking.

We arrived earlier than our scheduled time and the host and hostess advised us that they would seat us as soon as possible but it may be close to our designated time. We were seated five minutes from our arrival. Excellent service! We were excited about the Palm Court having this great Thanksgiving meal. The food was delicious. Thank you!

Very beautiful place but I felt the food was very mediocre and ridiculous expensive. If you are interested in quantity they had a ton of food. But I was not impressed with quality at all. Plus who has a thanksgiving meal and leaves off mashed potatoes and gravy! Will not be back.

While our overall experience was good and we would consider coming back another Thanksgiving, the price of the buffet would have to be much less. The amount we paid for two people did not equal the quality and selection of the food. We would recommend it only after a price reduction.

I’ve been wanting to go here for a long time for brunch. And the perfect combo of family in town and Bengals v Seahawks football game made for the ideal opportunity. Service was right on point and the food was excellent except the cooked salmon which was dry. The prime rib, shrimp and grits and the peach cobbler were standouts. Bottomless mimosas got us in the right mood and timing was perfect with service. Signage to the restaurant was a bit obscure but we found our way ok. There was a weird cat meowing noise for much of our meal ??? So that was a thing. All in all would definitely do it again for a special occasion.

Brunch was great, even things like biscuits and scrambled eggs that can be bland were really well done. Highlights were the blackened salmon, the fried chicken and sriracha honey, and cheese. Teas and coffee were excellent and the ambiance is unmatched! Staff was incredibly accommodating for our party and special requests.

We love the Hilton Netherland Plaza and are huge fans of the Palm Court/Orchids and everything in between. However, this is no more than an expensive hotel breakfast buffet. The way it was pitched made it resemble the former Orchids breakfast buffet. Hopefully it returns one day!

Do not deal with this restaurant. They're scammers. Made a paid reservation on opentable for Mother's Day brunch. When we attempted to cancel within the deadline, no one would answer my phone at the restaurant or return calls (during open hours, across several days). There's no way to call the actual restaurant? Sketchy. At one point I reached a manager by calling Hilton Hotels, and was never called back. They charged me over $200 for missing the reservation. Thankfully, my bank got my money back for me. It was a nightmare. I've made reservations at many restaurants across the US and in Europe and have never seen anything like this.

Palm Court Grille RestaurantResponded on September 1, 2023

I apologize that you had an experience that left you with a bad encounter. All Mother's Day Brunch reservations had a 3-day prior-to-event cancellation policy. The booking experience should have stated this twice and you had to agree to the cancellation policy before the reservation is made. If you had returned to the reservation to cancel within three days of the event, your option to cancel would have expired. Even calling the restaurant would not have voided the cancellation fee that was agreed upon when making the reservation. OpenTable has multiple ways of contacting or messaging a restaurant if you are having issues with getting in touch with someone. Hopefully, you do not have another experience like this one. But if so, reach out to OpenTable and see what other options there are to resolve issues before getting to the level of blaming a restaurant as "scammers". OpenTable does not allow restaurants to charge anyone unless there is a policy in place. I want to thank you for sharing your observations so that we can look into why there were issues with a booking cancellation policy so that no one has the same experience.

Staff was friendly and attentive. The variety of the food at the buffet was great and the chef was very accommodating and mind to one person in our party with a food allergy. Everyone enjoyed the live music and ambiance. I had read reviews of how it had slipped and gone downhill since covid but didn’t find that to be true.

For the price, $119/pp, I expected so much more. The food was cold, not very good and limited selection. Everything was picked over and many things gone by our reservation time. Plates just gathered on our table, drinks weren’t refilled, & never offered coffee. Beautiful location and for the price it should have been so much better. Won’t be returning.

Great time at the Mother's Day Brunch. There was an abundance of food and dessert. Lots of families and people but the staff did a great job managing the flow of people and the food was well stocked and rotated as needed. Great carving station and plenty of chafing dishes with all types of food. Kudos to the kitchen crew for presentation and putting out a lot of good tasting food. This is how I remember their special occasion brunches - good food, great service and an overall good time! The staff was polite and attentive, felt like the good ole days of the restaurant world, pre-pandemic. I'd go back for the Mother's Day brunch again.

What ever happened to the classic Sunday brunch? To be fair, the weekend breakfast is not billed as a Sunday brunch. I remember the last time we came to the Palm Court for brunch…it was quite a spread of expertly crafted and artistically presented food. And it came with a hefty price tag, although well worth it. This breakfast buffet wasn’t even a step up from the brand’s reliable, if not fancy Hampton Inns. I didn’t even see a pastry. Given this, we decided to order off the menu…that is if anyone ever came by to take it. They didn’t. We left and had a great breakfast nearby at another restaurant that didn’t seem to have a staffing issue. In all, a huge disappointment. The only bright spot was the hostess who in spite of it all was friendly and managed to get us coffee and tea, had we just stayed to enjoy it.

What in the world?!? First, please update your listing, this is no longer a brunch. Just a standard Hilton breakfast buffet. Second, Palm Court bring back your bloody mary, We had expensive glasses of tomato juice and watery ice with a splash of vodka, and lastly consider reminding wait staff that coffee, drinks, even water come at the beginning of the meal not half way towards the end.

Repeat customers for years and have brought family from Europe and friends numerous times. We have always appreciated the upscale service and your excellent cuisine. This past December, 2022,we attended the Christmas Luncheon at 3pm and noticed your many changes with much higher prices and lesser quality of food. This past Easter we decided to give it another chance. We had a seating time of 1:30pm and were not seated until 2pm after we agreed to be seated with another single person to get seated. Then we found out that 1:30pm was the last seating. By that time the food and dessert trays were almost empty. The food was poor, meat was dried out, tough, and not up to the quality of previous years. The higher price and conditions were unacceptable. On a positive note, Mahlet was an excellent server and Larry was a very pleasant and charming every time as the busboy.

The food was OK but not worth the monies charged. The highlight of the time at the Palm Court was Keith (our waiter). He was AMAZING. He was 'Johnny on the Spot" when we needed anything. When the potato pan was empty we told him and he immediately went to the back to let them know. When the new pan of potatoes arrived, he brought both of us a small plate of potatoes. He went above and beyond, He obvious cares about the people and is a very hard worker. He is a prime example of what a waiter should be.

Family meal on Christmas Day— Experience began with the bellman of the hotel asking for us to pay him on the side for where we chose to park. No big deal, it’s Christmas was our thought. Checked in at the host table. We arrived a little early for our reservation so I expected to wait for our table at least until our reservation time. Unfortunately we waited 25 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. Our waitstaff (I do not want to misspell her name—she’s lovely and from Turkey) was attentive and kind. She was a breath of fresh air as other staff congregated in groups to complain about various things. It was unavoidable to hear the comments as they were standing right next to the buffet. The buffet had a variety of choices. Of course ,keeping items warm was a struggle. Vegetarians would have limited choices with 75% of the choices being potatoes. The dessert choices were outstanding.

Our favorite place in the Cincy area for special occasion brunches - Dickens Carol brunch, Christmas Day brunch. The trio of carolers was wonderful at both. We had a couple of family members join us at the last moment for the Christmas Day brunch and they were able to accommodate us without any issues.
