Awful experience! Drove an hour for the disappointment. Firstly booked food and shisha but was seated food only. Table wasn’t laid out, or cleaned prior to seating us. Table booked for 8.30pm, 9pm, I had to ask to order a drink as staff pacing up and down and have no clue what they are doing. 9.15pm had to ask to place order for food as not one staff member had came back to greet us after seating us at 8.30pm. It was absolutely pathetic to be honest. 9.30pm drink arrived. Had to ask again at 10pm where the main meal was at as people was coming in and receiving meals quite quickly so it was obvious our food order had been missed. Had to ask again about meal, by now I was actually annoyed and hungry. The service was diobolical. No organsiation, no structure to the evening. DJ playing, large screen tv’s on with festival going on. 10pm I don’t want to see babies and 10th at olds on a Saturday night. Have a cut off for children. The place is aesthetically beautiful but that’s about it! Food mediocre! Customer service doesn’t exist! Nothing good to say about this place. If you’re looking for a decent place to dine with adult company, this is not the place! Very low level operations! Very disappointing!

30th birthday for 8 adults and 1 child. The service was outstanding. The food was amazing, great flavours and good size portions. The palm chips are the best. Start to finish we were well looked after. Thank you

My wife and I had one of our worst dining experiences at this restaurant. We’ve been to The Palm before and had decent experiences, but this visit was extremely disappointing due to the poor level of service. To begin with, a special request I made in advance was completely disregarded and not even acknowledged. We ordered a single starter, which took an unusually long time to arrive. During that time, several larger tables that were seated and ordered after us had already received their main courses. Despite being just a party of two, we were consistently overlooked. I repeatedly asked different staff members about our order, and while they said they would check, no one ever followed up or returned with an update. It felt as though our table was being entirely ignored. By the time we finally received our food, more than two hours had passed, and at least four tables seated after us had already finished their meals. No staff member checked in on us throughout this entire wait. When the bill finally arrived, the service charge had been removed—an unspoken admission that we had received no meaningful service. This was meant to be our first date night as a married couple—a special and memorable evening—but unfortunately, it turned out to be a major disappointment.

Horrendous service, kept us waiting for mains for 1 hour after asking if we’re reading to have them. 4 different waiters saying 4 different things. Food - mid.

The service from the staff is as great, the food was ok but overpriced bottle of coke and water was same price, the mix grill was small and still cost £30 so the valve wasn’t the best, overall experience as ok. The shisha flavour were seriously weak and with an ice head pipe still couldn’t tell the difference. They used to be great with the shisha before they started up the restaurant side years back. Might of just had a bad shisha flavour that night but both being weak unlikely. Personally wouldn’t return as the value isn’t great and the issue above more better shisha spots around.
