Pallet Ratings and Reviews
Pallet was a wonderful find for my colleagues and I. We looked it up on Trip Advisor and it was within walking distance of our hotel. Intimate atmosphere and one of my highlights was real cloth hand towels in the bathrooms. We all had the scallops and they were cooked to perfection. Pallet also had great different and fun cocktails. Highly recommend
Excellent meal. We were at the end of an exhausting vacation trip and as foodies wanted a casual place for a good meal. We found it on Open Table. We had an excellent. Fresh ingredients combined in creative and delicious ways. We were hoping for a good meal but more than we expected and great service.
The food was exceptional and unique. The bartender was happy to substitute lemon juice for the grapefruit juice that was in the cocktail I ordered, since I am not able to have grapefruit. Our waitress was quirky and charming. The vibe and atmosphere was great, cozy, romantic. LOVED it.
We were visiting from Philly and had the best meal of our trip here. The neighborhood is suspect but do not be deterred, this is a GEM. We had wonderful Hamachi and farm salad appetizers followed by a perfectly prepared whole brazino and very tasty and well-prepared rack of lamb. The brazino at $29 was a steal and well worth any fish lover learning how to eat a whole fish. The rack was great, the fish superb. The wine list is diverse and different with many of the bottles offered by the glass. Of course, this being Utah, we were told we would be charged a dollar for tasting two wines before deciding which bottle to buy. Like the $2 would stop us from buying a bottle of wine to enjoy with dinner? Will Utah ever grow up? Well, that's not the restaurant's fault and the waitstaff was very open to inform us of the rules before we tasted, which we appreciated. Prices are very fair for the portions and quality of the ingredients and their preparation, coupled by an attentive staff. Well done.
Anniversary dinner. Easy to find, easy (and free) to park. Neat historic building, great job at preservation & fun to know the history. Liked the art too. Small space, but that didn't bother us. Servers all friendly, knowledgeable. Good pace, timely on the food & drink. I had (and really enjoyed) the boar (chile verde); hubby had the elk - thought it was okay. We started with (shared) the gazpacho, which we both very much liked - it's a wonderfully delicious seasonal plate. Ended with a fantastic, creative, yum dessert - the smoked chocolate pudding with peanuts. It did not disappoint. Glad we tried Pallet.
