This was our first time at Pallet and we really enjoyed it. The ambiance is very nice and the food is interesting. We had the elk and the duck and both were excellent. The service was a little sluggish, but the was the only issue.
WAY too cool for Utah. It makes you feel like you're in SoHo or Los Angeles. The drinks are unique and delicious and the food is spectacular.

Restaurant was small which is nice but still had a lot of noise/ poor acoustics. Waiter was great. A little pricey for the portion size and selection was lacking. Too many wild game dishes for our taste. We will go again and see if the selection has changed.

We visited Pallet for our 7th anniversary last weekend. Our meal and service at Pallet was outstanding. However, we arrived a bit early for our reservation and were seated at an empty communal table (which in hindsight I would have changed). We ended up with two very loud parties on either side of us which kind of killed the romantic vibe. We actually ended up cutting dinner short and not opting for dessert because the table of "bros" next to us was just too distracting to enjoy ourselves. Overall I would love to come back but will opt for a smaller table/request that the host staff pay more attention to special occasions when seating guests.
Amazing food as always. I had the scallops with the pea purée and it was exquisite. My wife fell in love with the duck which was cooked to perfection.
This is our spot...we had our first date here and I proposed to her here as well. We go back as often as possible but are ALWAYS there for special celebrations. The service was top notch, per usual, but Tyler took it to a new level with his attentiveness.
If you are reading this and have not yet dined here...this is a must for any foodie!!!

We had a delicious family dinner at Pallet. The restaurant is small so our party of five split a long table with another table of four, but it was not intrusive. Cocktails were good, charcuterie board was delicious. The table had the bass, elk, duck, pasta and zabuton - everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious.
One of the best meals I've had. We ate here last year and it was equally amazing. Everything is cooked to perfection. Oustanding service and ambiance. We will definitely be back.
Being from Chicago, the bar is high when coming to eat in Utah. Pallet was a nice discovery. Warm decor, creative and clean. Since Utah has no Michelin rankings, we went by the AAA Guide. This was a 3 diamond, and honestly, the quality of food, price and service, deserved it to be a 4 diamond. Keep at it Pallet, you can get there. I had the duck, my partner had the Ratatouille. Now, she was expecting the Pixar-film look, but she was pleasantly surprised with everything. My duck was amazing, tender, and a crunch on the skin. If this restaurant was in Chicago, the prices would be inflated by $10 an entree. This place is a little pricey, but for the quality of the food, it is a decent value. Best to go when they first open, they were packed when we left. Highly recommended.
We had the ratatouille which was some of the best vegetarian food that we have ever had. The ceviche was absolutely divine and fresh. It was season with ginger which made my tongue feel weird. I thought it was the scallops so I wish I had known ginger was part of the marinade ahead of of time. After I realized that the ginger was so pronounced it all made sense. Finally we have the tartare and I asked for bread with the dish however it was unnecessary. And all these cases the chef was spot on and just trust them.

I have been here several times however I must say the last visit was less than stellar. The food was not up to par as previously experienced but the service was about the same. Had the tartare, ceviche, meatballs, bass, lamb, oil cake, and white mousse.
Amazing food and a romantic atmosphere that can't be beat. This little neighborhood gem only two blocks from the Vivint Center is a must visit. The staff was incredible and the food creative and delicious.
Great food, great service. Perfect for a dinner before the theater. We will be back!

When all you can talk about for the next two hours are the potatoes, and they were just the appetizer, then you know you’re in the right place. Casual with good service. A little out of the way. And really great food. Scallops were just perfect. Great flavors in the salads. I’m heading back real soon.
The ambiance and service at this restaurant are exceptional - great place for an intimate dinner for two or a small group. The cocktails are imaginative and satisfying. I wish we could've stayed for dessert and hope to return here soon!

Spacing of food orders between drinks and appetizers were perfect and allowed for conversation without being rushed or waiting around. Both meals and all appetizers were excellent!
First time dining at pallet on NYE. Small cozy dining room was warm and inviting. Good service (though our waitress did forget my oyster). I was so happy they didnt do a pre fix menu as so many places do on New Year. They did do some special dishes for the occasion, My bison was excellent and the cheese board nicely presented. We've been looking for a reliable delicious go-to restaurant in Salt Lake since we've moved here and so far Pallet is the most promising of the places we've been. Will be back.
