   Tasty, elevated Korean fare that still hews to its humble origins. Generous portions and terrific craft cocktails. Smart ambience, with thought put into muted decor, lighting and sound levels. Only quibble is that the elevated experience is lost with flimsy napkins that don't hold up, and t-shirt unis. Fix those and Palilgu could easily charge more without affront. Will be back.

   This place is a bit more style than substance unfortunately. First I will say the atmosphere is super nice and you can have an intimate meal here. Bibimbop advertised as having "classic banchan" should have classic banchan on the side. There was no kimchi, no pickled radish, nothing. The bulgogi beef used was advertised as wagyu, but came out thickly cut, chewy and sinewy. $26 is overpriced for what you get. The Tteokbokki is good, it's a nice shareable portion for 2. The cheese corn is decent. The seafood and scallion pancake is fine also, probably little overfilled with scallion but still tasty. Overall, there's better Korean food in the area for better value.

   As a Korean I was very excited to try this restaurant and excited by the menu. Every dish/ drink I tried was great! -Bossam -Pancakes -Wings (Soy garlic) -Makku passion fruit makgeoli Great service and ambiance as well.

   Thought the food and drinks here were amazing! Spicy pork sliders and the wings were our favorites, but everything was delicious!

   The service was terrible. Waiter was inattentive and slow. Seemed like they barely cared about anything.

   Excellent classic korean dishes. Elevated with quality ingredients and presentation. Service was ok, friendly but inefficient—room for improvement with more training.

    Great food. We needed really good Korean food in our area especially that goes beyond Korean BBQ. The service is great as well. We will be coming back and ordering carry out in between visits.
