   Mother’s Day High Tea was excellent. Could not fault the food or service. Despite a full room the many staff on hand were welcoming and attentive during our stay. The food, while keeping to the usual high tea traditions, displayed the usual Palette dedication to that subtle difference which surprises the taste buds.

   Mother’s Day High Tea items were not pleasant. The scones had the texture of puff pastry or danish. Savoury items were quite sweet, particularly the coronation chicken. Some items were inedible - salmon macaron, sour dough toast with cream cheese was burnt, strawberry choux was soggy. The smoke on top of the meringue tart was unpleasant. A really disappointing experience - we all left hungry. The table beside us ordered chicken burgers and fries. The service was a little strange - we were told twice by two different servers that we needed to eat one savoury then one sweet. One of us commented that all the food was sweet anyway. Unfortunately it wasn’t an enjoyable experience.

   The high tea was excellent especially for Mothers Day. We enjoyed the food and the experience overall. Our waitress was friendly and provided all the service we required. Palette is a lovely setting. We especially love the chocolates to take away.

   I took mum to their Mother’s Day high tea. We’ve been to many high teas over the years. Some reasonable, many very exclusive. The last few high teas, I started to not enjoy as much and wondered if I’ve outgrown the perks. Knowing the reputation of Palette, this was going to be my decider. We were not disappointed! Each piece of high tea was extremely thought through. Sweets weren’t just sugar. Each one was very different and flavoursome. Savoury were also unique and of amazing quality. Staff were all smiling and professional. Ambience was top notch as well. I loved how spacious each table was. We didn’t have to listen to other table conversation. We will definitely be back for high tea and hopefully for a regular dinner.

   The ambience was soft and elegant with large silk flowers in the outdoor area. Perfect for a high-tea birthday celebration. The food was beautifully presented and delicious, with an exciting selection of savory and sweetness. Their scones were amazing! And as for the staff, they were excellent ... friendly, happy and attentive. A wonderful experience.

   Absolutely stunning place to dine The attention to detail is 100% Staff go above and beyond to explain the dishes that you receive and are very efficient just like restaurants used to be

   A wonderful dining experience. Our lovely Italian waiter explained the menu and chosen food to a tee as did the other wait staff. Not sure if umami is the correct adjective for the cuttlefish, but it was superb. Lots of Japanese culinary influences in the dishes made every course something special.......you must try the lamb - and we were able to share. What a bonus. Thank you, we will be back.

   Food was very good, small portions with delicate flavours. Service was exceptional. Would certainly recommend for a special occasion.

    I had a tasting menu for my Birthday dinner with my friends here, the venue has chic decor and great atmosphere. The servers are very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly and welcoming. The food was fantastic! Each dishes are portioned just right amount for the 5courses, so I could finish till the dessert easily. the ingredients are sourced mostly locally and very fresh, I loved kangaroo carpaccio which I’ve never had before! All the dishes are very cleverly combined with Asian flavors and very creative. The most of all, the quality of food match the value of money. I had a really lovely dinner, and I highly recommend palette restaurant for everyone who’s looking for place for celebration or dinner date.
