Everything was delicious. Fantastic and conscientious server. We will be back!
The staff was very welcoming. The atmosphere was great and the waiter was helpful. First time at Palette 22 and it won't be my last. The food was great, so many options to choose from. Love the waffle stand, very delicious! Overall, vert satisfying.
This restaurant came highly recommended and I will be doing the same. The best French toast sticks I've ever had. No syrup necessary. Food was always hot and fresh. You cannot go wrong with their bottomless brunch and bellinis were delicious.
This place was great! Thanks to Mary for incredible service!
Food was spectacular. Service was great and the value is perfect for my family of eaters. I will return again.
We loved it. Everything we got was delicious. It was a little noisy inside so we sat outside. Fortunately there were heaters because it was a little cool. But I will definitely be back.
The food was delicious! There were so many great selections. Two restaurants were recommended to us and we choose Palette 22 because it was closer to our hotel. We made a good choice and I am looking forward to returning when I am in the area again.
We come to Palette 22 at least once every two months or so. We always have a great time, wonderful service and amazing food! Would definitely recccomend and will always come here for the art, the vibe and most importantly, the food!
We had the all you can eat for $27 each. Taco bar, waffle bar, and anyth8ng from the menu. Surprised they also charge for beverages, should be included, at least coffee and non alcoholic beverages. Tons of food. Great value for big eaters.
The outside patio seating was wonderful. The server was helpful and knowledgeable.
Wide variety on the menu. Excellent quality. Good, quick, service. Wonderful place to dine before heading to Signature Theatre...especially outdoors on a summer evening. (Noise level inside was a little too high but outside the ambiance was great.)
Weekday lunch. We sat outside and shared appetizers - avocado hummus, ceviche de verduras and mushroom flatbread plus white sangrias. The dishes were all good. As a vegan, I especially enjoyed the ceviche, the first time I had one made only with veggies. Our server was nice but I had to ask for lemon three times, which is sort of a test for me when I dine out. The manager delivered on the third try since the server had disappeared by then. We still tipped her 20% but it wasn't busy at all so I was a little frustrated by her lack of attention. I will return because it's convenient to the movie theater and has a variety of dishes for me.
We had two adults and two kids for the bottomless menu offer. The deal was slightly different than how it was originally explained to us the week prior but it was close enough that we were still interested. Almost all the food was great. The jerk chicken was something that can probably be had elsewhere possibly cheaper and the jicama taco seemed like too many flavors at once but everything else was excellent. Most of the food came out very quickly. There was a bit of a slow down on a drink refill and one of the dishes never made it out at all but we overlooked those issues. Overall, the food here is great and if you come hungry enough the bottomless offering pays for itself.
My cousin and I came for brunch. I like that’s it an all you can eat but the drinks should be a bit larger. The ambiance is nice and each wall is decorated differently with paintings and such. The foot was great also, some things I didn’t particularly love but overall prepared well. There is also an open waffle and taco bar which is nice.
Our server was attentive and informative. He made sure to check in on us to see if we needed anything and to take all of our orders.
The food at Palette 22 is phenomenal, the crab cake eggs benedict are to die for at at brunch.
The servers at Palette are very good too, always on top of everything you need and you're never waiting for drinks or food too long.
My problem came with my reservation, I had requested to be seated in my friends section, he's a server, and my request had been completely ignored by management. Later upon talking to others I heard that reservations were only honored for larger groups, meaning I was lucky to have my party of two seated so promptly in the first place. I was very dissatisfied by management in this instance, not respecting reservations and completely ignoring requests is totally unprofessional and a change needs to be done about it at Palette.
Loved the food, ambiance....really enjoyed our experience and we will be back......
The food was great, highly recommend these at brunch: Baja Fish Tacos, both Mushroom and BBQ Chicken Pizzas, as well as the waffle and taco bars. Service was just as great, Madeline made some spot-on recommendations.
The decor was artistic and the staff were very nice. But the food was ok.
The food and drinks were delicious and they brought it out promptly. Tapas style is great, you can try many different things.
Love the great selection of tapas- like dishes at a much more reasonable price point than places like Jaleo. Meat, fish, veggie, etc. outdoor seating plentiful and was very nice.
Reserved a table for 6, was seated at a large table for 8 in the bar area which was three times as noisy as the dining room. When asked upon leaving about the seating, was told at the time we arrived there was no wait staff in the dining room. There were customers eating there? I explained as a hearing challenged person, I was disappointed in this arrangement and was not told this when being seated. Our party of 6 were all over 60 and really cared very little about the music or loud TV's in the bar area. We had trouble hearing each other around the table!
John was an amazing server. Music was too loud so hard to ear when John was asking question or saying something. And very heard to have a vi conversation
Palette has been our GO TO, BUT recent issues have been concerning: while the food is still excellent, brunch has seen the biggest change. I’ve experienced exceedingly long waits for gluten free offerings at brunch (25 minutes or more) that were never an issue in the past. The last month, I’ve had to ask where my food was to cue it being made. The wait staff is far more serious, smiling less frequently. The environment lacks the wonderful carefree relaxed atmosphere of the recent past. Hopefully this is a blip...
I enjoy the regular menu much better than the brunch menu. The breakfast items are just okay. The pancake was soggy. The monkey bread is just okay. The egg dishes just ok.
Service was slow. Table smelled of dirty rag. Some food was cold when it was finally served. Not a good experience.
Paid for the bottomless brunch and enjoyed the meal. Service was friendly and efficient. My only warning is that if you are not a huge eater, you should figure out whether you are actually paying more for the bottomless than you would if you purchased the dishes individually. I ended up losing a few dollars in the end.
SImply delightful! All the food recommended to us was superlative - and we were a fussy crew: one with a shellfish allergy, and another one who would eat no beef or pork. We ended up splitting two tapas and a small salad and left really full. The restaurant is covered with interesting art, artists working in each room, and should not be missed. We talked it up so much to friends, we're heading back there!
Best brunch ever!
It’s a nice place with a good food. Always I enjoyed a lot there .
6 of us dined here for brunch last Sunday. Great atmosphere - fun place to watch football on Sundays. Great food, prompt service. Love the bottomless a la carte brunch concept for food - I've only seen that for drinks before (or brunch buffets). Great value for our group of 4 teens, mom, and dad.
Great food and drinks, exceptional service and fun atmosphere.
Great food. Enjoyed the vibe
My boyfriend and I love art and the Shirlington area. We were seated right away and the staff were attentive throughout our meal. We loved the shrimp and fried chicken street tacos. The fried brussel sprouts were spicy with a little sweetness - delicious! The chirros and flan sealed a great dinner. I’ll be be back because there were so many other things I want to try.
This was our first trip to Palette 22 and we did not know what to expect. We were going to a show at Signature Theater and needed to catch an early dinner beforehand. We were surprised at how good the restaurant was. The price was reasonable, service was good, and every small plate we shared was delicious. I would highly recommend it.
Brunch was great as usual. If you come prepared to eat you’ll definitely get your money’s worth with the bottomless brunch option; all of the small plates are so delicious!
Great service and amazing food. Server was very knowledgeable, especially considering my friend has a million allergies. Food came out timely, hot, and tasty. Great music as well. I can't wait to go back again.
We had so much fun tasting everything! Food was delicious, and the choices were many! Looking forward to coming back again to try the brunch!
Palette 22 is one of my go-to restaurants. I think their food is delicious. There's enough variety that whoever I bring here finds something they love. It's definitely on the noisy side so be prepared for that. I appreciate the consistently good service and quality.
