The restaurant messaged me a few hours before our reservation to cancel and then decided to claim that I made the reservation. I did not go because they canceled on us. Poor business practices. I will not visit this location nor recommend to anyone.

loved it! great atmosphere and definitely something different to experience. definitely not a sit down dinner type of place. Consider it more tapas style. so if you want it for your main meal, eat before.

I did a reservation for 7 people coming to PALAPA. The host had told me somebody inside the restaurant canceled my reservation and After decided to give us bad seating for my 7 people. The manager moved us 3 times in the past hour during our show. I don’t understand why someone inside the restaurant canceled my reservation. When I specifically made this plan as a birthday party for my daughter, everyone felt terrible. I don’t recommend making a big party in this place The staff plays with your time and feelings. For me and my family was a very bad experience. Es un verdadero desastre no more ,,,,

Beautiful vibe and place! I was so excited to come here however we were greeted at the entrance with “welcoming shots” and were then charged for them. We were also charged $55 per spicy margarita cocktail that were made with “don Julio” because they failed to mention that they only had 1942 don Julio until after we had already ordered 2 Rounds of them. Requested to speak to the manager to discuss what had happened and he was extremely rude and did not even let me speak. I don’t ever mind spending money on an amazing experience with great customer service but we left feeling deceived and on top of that we’re charged 20% gratuity. When most places in Miami due to COVID are including 18% gratuity. I’d love to give this place a second shot but they definitely need to speak to their employees about being upfront and clear.

Beautiful setting but this place needs some help creating a better experience. There were not many food options nor specialty cocktail options. The specialty cocktails we had were not good. We also expected more shows. The performers only performed once during the 2.5 hours we were there. It seemed the crowd was waiting for something to happen all night. I had hopes for this place, but it was disappointing. This place has so much potential - they need good promoters, more selections for specialty cocktails, & more performers that perform more often.
