I was with friends and family on a sunday, the food was great but the service was really lacking. Servers was kind of rude even when you’re asking nicely. I am with my niece on that day who just turned 7 yrs old, their charge are different on kids from 3-7 than to a adult but the receipt came with all adult charges so I questioned the server, he did not respond to me rather walked out took my receipt and talk to someone but when he comes back he came directly to my niece and ask how old is she. First time i’ve experienced that, the kid did not even eat at all as this was her first time in koren bbq reataurant. I ate here before but service was pretty good back then.

The reservation wasn’t honored. Saying an hour in advance was to short. Even though I drove and hour for the restaurant because of the reviews. They were super busy and I can understand that but the dudes customer service was a little snippy. This was because of the way I speak I said a cuss (NOT AT HIM! It’s just the way I speak) He then took it as a personal offense. The waiting area was crowded and when I offered to wait inside my car if he could call when it was my turn I was told I had to wait inside with no social distancing in place. This was not an option with my children with me. We ended up leaving. I’m sure the restaurant is amazing and if they aren’t packed the customer service is probably on point. I do feel like the OpenTable reservation system needs to be updated if you can make a reservation when they are full.
We made reservations for 630pm got there at 633 pm waited 2 minutes for greeter to come back and said they gave are table away because we were late. Did get seated 5 minutes later but that tells me how much they care about my business (not at all).
Otherwise food and table service was good but that first impression turned me off. Always have only gone there for Korean BBQ but will now try other places.
Made a reservation. We know any group more then 5 due to covid has to be in two tables. We had 8. (All immediate family) They sat us in different tables but was 30 min late in seating us. They were also very busy and this was at 4pm. They were short with answering questions and about 4 people asked us for (how many people). We asked 3 different people since we are in different tables and we had 2 Groupons if we can use it because it was expiring. We couldn’t eat out for awhile so the Groupon was only good for another two weeks. They said no because it was one group even if we sat separately. I even said we will pay the auto gratuity. (Again we had two different tables) They said they will honor the Groupon next time even if it was expired (I hope this is true). The price went up to almost $33.00 per person. So overall it was just ok. Service and food.
Our family had to keep finding the waiter. He forgot our drinks several times and we had to keep asking for our unlimited meal. The waitress dropped plates in the bend loudly by our table. They were not friendly at all. Lastly, when I told them about my complaints after spending $160, the host gave us our change and told us to never come again instead of apologizing. Love the one in Lakewood, WA.
Our county is in Phase 2 and indoor dining has been restricted to 25% capacity. As the 1st customer of the day, I was warmly welcomed into quite an empty space. When more people arrived, they were seated more than 6 ft away. There was an abundance of sanitizer and consistent temperature checks. Restaurant was thoroughly clean and the ambience inviting. Of course, the food was spectacular! If you have an opportunity to eat when the doors open you may find the food more delicious than any other time served in the day! Restaurant comes highly recommended for anyone!
I’m telling you I’m one picky foodie and this is our favorite Korean all you can eat place. We have tried out a ton of other places and no one has beat them. Try it out and you won’t regret it.
It was good. Food is good as always. Service was quick. Very happy with my experience there.

About 30 people in the lobby and not one employee would acknowledge anyone was there. Had a reservation and multiple times tried to stop an employee to ask when I could get seeded for my reservation and they would just look at you and walk off. Some of the worst customer service I've had in my entire life.
It doesn’t matter if you make a reservation or not if there’s a wait your waiting for everyone in front of you.
Worst service ever, I made a reservation for the 14th and they wouldn’t seat us because they had their own list going on, I just walked out because it was full. Never reserving a place here again
Not very friendly. We were told we had to order the buffet, even though she handed us menus. Will not be going back.

The food was fairly good. The service was not so good, we never got our glass of water we had to choose a different drink due to them being out of mint for a mojito. Also when ordering the menu did not list all the ingredients in the meal.
The overall experience was always a 4 for me due to the $$$ prices of the food. Would have gone there often if not for the prices.
Other than that, food, service and place are very satisfactory!

I would recommend better places to go if it is not your first time with cooking food yourself. The restaurant does an all you can eat meal plan and small side dishes. I enjoyed the food but the service is the worst I have ever had. It also felt l, due to my skin color (white), I was ignored more the.
The rest of the restaurants patrons that night. It was to the point that other Asian/oriental patrons noticed that they were getting better service then my guest and myself.
Our visit started with making a reservation then waiting 20 minutes in an open breezeway while they cleaned the reserved table off while sitting people who just walked in after us.
After being seated we waited another 15 minutes for drinks and 20 more for our food order to arrive.
When we started cooking our meal, the waitress rudely tossed the thin slices of pork on the grill, without asking us, and walked off. This was a huge downer because my guest had never cooked food like this and I was the one cooking the whole time. So when she did that she ruined us taking our time and felt like we were being rushed.
After we got through the first round of food our server then asked if we wanted more, we said please and ordered a little more. She cut us off from ordering to many items even though the portions were a little small.
I then asked my waitress for more Diet Coke and she took my glass and never returned. I had to ask another waitress to bring me another coke and again waited for 10 more minutes. At that point we were waiting for the check that never came till we asked for our check.
So after all that if you can get past the more then crappy service the food was good. The marinated chicken was the best item but the intestines, pork belly, and shrimp were of great quality. The steak was Fiber like but was still marinated well. That is why this place gets a 3 out of 5 from me.
We had a reservation but we still had to wait for 20 minutes. The server was grumpy and didn't want to give us what we wanted. She was limiting our orders. The food was good though. Overall experience not great.
Set a reservation for 8 at 7pm hours prior get there( for family from out of state ) was told it was not on their computer and that I had no reservation , showed hostest my email confirmation , tells me 30 min first clear table is ours , okay cool we go to the bar , NO one there asked for help 6 times and nothing , 30 min go by she seat 3 parties of 6 to 7 people that came after us , I go and ask she says now say 20 min wait was extremely rude about it , so we just left I Do NOT reccomened this place to a my one
Drinks unfilled until you request it. Rude waitresses. Misleading discount allocations. (Discount given + tax = stated discount). Lots of food, but won't be back.

From the quality of meats, the host when you walk in, the servers everything was bad. We should've left way sooner. They aren't attentive to you at all but EXPECT YOU to tip. The quality of the meat is horrible my goodness, I mean all bad meat. Don't even waste your time or money not worth it. Not worth it at all !! If you aren't family you ARE NOT WELCOMED!! They throw all your meat on the grill as if you asked & never check on you for more meats. This place is trash. Before we walked in my 2 year old nephew tried to warn us! I bet you next time I'll listen to the toddler.
