Palace Korean BBQ
Superb food and service!
Always a favorite
Being we went when covid just started opening. The place was empty for lunch but the service was impeccable and the food was excellent. We ordered the all you can eat and cooked family style. They give generous amounts of side dishes and the short rib meat were soft and tasty. Chicken, pork, shrimp. You can’t go wrong.
We got a table at the corner and it was super cold. Even we ate BBQ with the fire on, still feel like freezing.
We both liked it
Great experience and service was outstanding. We had a very nice waitress who I would recommend and hoping we get her again when we come back next time.
Made a reservation for 9:15pm and drove all the way from West Seattle. About 3 minutes before our reservation, when we were a block away, they called to tell us they were closing their kitchen at 9:30 and wouldn't honor the reservation. I normally love this place, but this was terrible customer service. Surely you can set a cut-off time on OpenTable for reservations. So I will say that I still recommend this place, but be forewarned that they may just cancel your reservation with little notice if they think it's too late. Very disappointed.
As always, service was great, food was good and price was perfect.
Meh. It’s was ok. Food was decent. Ambiance was not. It was extremely cold in there. They also were a bit pushy to shut off the grill and to bring the check. We were moving slowly but they were doing everything they could to flip the table. We probably won’t be back.
Always a great place for groups. They have a little bit of everything for everyone. Even as busy as it was, they kept stopping by to make sure that we have what we needed. We had a large group of 6 that included 2 small kids.
Seated quickly and on time.
This was our first time here. Three of us. We found the environment very pleasant and liked the spaciousness of our table. Our waiter was very nice and provided just the right amount of service. We did not experience impatience like other reviewers mentioned. Everyone was very pleasant.
We ordered the AYCE but did not need to request seconds of anything. The initial portions were substantial. The meat, seafood and poultry selections were ample. We ordered five of them along with the soup and rice and left very satisfied.
We all liked everything, but each had a favorite so that goes to show that everything was tasty! We hope to go back soon!
Service was excellent. Had one seafood & one vegetarian Bibimbop. Seafood was full of very tiny mussels. They did not smell good or taste good. Had to pick out 30 or so tiny ones out from the bowl. The rest was tasty. The veggie one barely had any veggies. The kimchi soup was $11 for a handful of kimchi heated with tofu. Not tasty & not worth it
Great food, great staff, great experience!
Great! Loved the food!!!
It is cheap, and you can enjoy a lot of food. But it is not fresh.
30 minutes waiting for the waitress but she was kind and nice
Just slow because there’s always a lot of people
If you have Time , it is ok
Amazing food!!! Lots of fun to cook on table.
Service is hit and miss. Some servers are super nice and some are just taking their bad day out on you. But all and all, can’t beat the price.
Very busy restaurant. Reservation recommended. Great BBQ, but wish they had variety of sauce...
The Palace is one of those places that you bring your mom on Mother's Day. For a fair price, the unlimited servings of Korean flavored meat, seafood, and banchan would leave your stomach filled with deliciousness and merriment. The attentive service they provided on Mother's Day was superb. To top off the celebration, they gave every customer a $10 gift card that you can use on your return for gluttony. What else is there to ask for?
The food was great as always. Our waitress disappeared after taking our order, but there was additional bussers that helped with our tables needs.
The best Korean BBQ!
I think they were a little.pushy on cooking everything when we were trying to slow down. And they couldnt find our reservations and they were very busy.
Service was slow, we had to ask several times for items.
Really needs to upgrade their game for service. Everything else was great but the staff were not really present. I want to go again but wifey unhappy with service so much it's unlikely
The food was good, I felt like I'd had better sides and topping else where, but the meat was good. The service was okay - very efficient and polite, which was great, but I felt a little rushed. I prefer cooking my own food on the grill at the pace I want to eat it, rather than having each plate dumped on the grill for me. If you prefer that, then this is definitely a good place for you.
The soju cocktails were amazing.
So much food and a great value! Best Korean BBQ in town.
Food and place are OK but the service is really TERRIBLE. I don't understand that how those people got hired to work there to server the guests... Needs less to say, they demand you to pay high tips! Ridiculous service!
Service was awful... came in a few minutes later than the rest of our group and they just said they’re inside instead of walking us to where they were. It took almost 20 minutes after seated before anybody asked for our order. Food quality was awful like the plates of meats were served drowning in bloody water it was gross. They didn’t even drain them and it spilled all over the table. They don’t come often to check or ask if you need anything!!! And the ventilation was awful!!! Server just threw a whole plate of meat on our grill without asking! Then minutes later
She was flipping out meat. We said we were done ordering but was still grilling the rest of our meat and she just turns off the grill. Like how are we suppose to cook the rest??? Definitely not going back again!
I just wish they open later doing the weekends. We still wanted to eat and drink a lot. Our bills is like 400 but it’s would be 800 if they stay open later
Everything was perfect, but it doesn’t really matter if you make a reservation or not, you’re going to wait either way
Great place to eat and chat with friends/family over food, ample selection of meats. my only advice is when you come here on weekends for dinner make sure you reserve a table in advance because waiting can be longer if you don't have a reservation.
It's always a pleasure to go to the Palace Korean BBQ. With a wide range of fresh menu items, as well as great service, the experience ensures a exciting night out.
It was our first time having dinner at that place but Server are very rude,,,we never enjoy our food...
Making a reservation ahead of time via Open Table didn’t even do anything. The lady stared at me all awkward when I mentioned I had a reservation. Then she disappeared and we had to wake a long while before someone came to take us to a table. I ordered a margarita that the server didn’t even bring it to the right table and it did not taste like a margarita. Tasted like some kind of weird kool-aid.
Arrived on time and was told the wait was 30 mins even though we had a reservation. They are having trouble managing both walk ins and reservations.
Don’t waste your time making a reservation. The food is good which is why we keep going back. But this is the third time in a row that we have made a reservation that they did not honor. Other folks with reservations had been waiting for over an hour to be seated so we left. Again, don’t waste your time making a reservation.
The workers were not attentive and did not seem happy when we had to wave them down to order something.
