Palace Korean BBQ
Everything was perfect, but it doesn’t really matter if you make a reservation or not, you’re going to wait either way
Great place to eat and chat with friends/family over food, ample selection of meats. my only advice is when you come here on weekends for dinner make sure you reserve a table in advance because waiting can be longer if you don't have a reservation.
It's always a pleasure to go to the Palace Korean BBQ. With a wide range of fresh menu items, as well as great service, the experience ensures a exciting night out.
It was our first time having dinner at that place but Server are very rude,,,we never enjoy our food...
Making a reservation ahead of time via Open Table didn’t even do anything. The lady stared at me all awkward when I mentioned I had a reservation. Then she disappeared and we had to wake a long while before someone came to take us to a table. I ordered a margarita that the server didn’t even bring it to the right table and it did not taste like a margarita. Tasted like some kind of weird kool-aid.
Arrived on time and was told the wait was 30 mins even though we had a reservation. They are having trouble managing both walk ins and reservations.
Don’t waste your time making a reservation. The food is good which is why we keep going back. But this is the third time in a row that we have made a reservation that they did not honor. Other folks with reservations had been waiting for over an hour to be seated so we left. Again, don’t waste your time making a reservation.
The workers were not attentive and did not seem happy when we had to wave them down to order something.
Inside is very very very cold! The hot tea and soup got cold within 10 mins and my legs are feeling cold. I know this is a BBQ place and it suppose to make the room very warm. Maybe that's why they don't turn on any heat in the room. But the temperature is below standard level and make people want to leave. I checked the restroom and can feel much warmer inside the restroom. It's January so please turn on the heat and make it to stand room temperature.
The meat is not in good quality, and they arrange us sitting in a very cold area and the vacune is blowing cold air
Our group came for Xmas dinner. It was strange that we have to put our name down on the wait list though we had reservations but we managed to get seated within a reasonable wait time. Our server Jeong was excellent and the food came quicker. We enjoyed the food very much and will definitely come back again!
They do not honor reservations through here. This page should be removed.
I had to wait 45mins to get my table when I had made reservation for 5 a day before. They didn’t want to give me answer when I asked about my table and kept walking away. She kept asking what I wanted when I told her I had made reservation a day ago for 5. Terrible experience I will never go again.
Went with reservation and was told to wait 2 hours plus - didn’t bother going - restaurant should not be allowed to book reservations on Open Table
Service was not outstanding. We had a reservation and they made us wait a long time and sat other walkins before seating us. They were also slow to get our order and drinks. But the food was very good.
Freezing inside, rude service. Good quality is average at best.
I have never been to a Korean BBQ that doesn't include the lettuce wraps with the meal, I found that annoying. The food was okay but the servers don't help much with the cooking and there were several other awkward things. Where did you put the meat when it is cooked as you can't eat it all at once?!? We weren't given a plate for the cooked meat or even enough napkins. We were there for our son's birthday, bad choice - won't go back.
Food was ok, server was a bit too abrupt and bordering on being rude which was embarrassing as we brought guests with us tonight. I understand it was particularly busy this evening but that’s when you get to see the true colors.... back area near the kitchen was also quite dirty...
Unlimited is pricey but really good.
I am ok with food but unfortunately, the people with me were not impressed.
Buffet for the all you can barbque is well worth it. Ordered kalbi, beef, chicken, pork belly, pork strips and shrimp. All the meat were soft and tender..I ordered 2 other things and they weren't brought to our table until I asked for it again. It can get crowded so making reservations was a good thing. Parking is available but when we left the lot was full. Service was ok.
Nice food, service and ambience
Food was tasteless, I was in Honolulu 2 weeks ago and there korean restaurant and Bar B Q was awesome with lots of good flavor in their meat selection....This place was not worth the money, Also seem like they where rushing you.
This was our first time at Palace Korean BBQ, and we went to celebrate our birthdays. Their space was clean, inviting, and great for couples, families, large groups. Casual dining. The grills were refreshed often, the service impeccable without being invasive. We were a couple, no kids, doing the $27.99 AYCE during the dinner rush. It was busy, but we did not have to wait for a table. GREAT value for the meal. We've tried several Korean BBQ places in WA, and this is officially one of our top two places to go. We live in Everett, and would totally be willing to drive to Bellevue for this experience again. Not as much banchan choices, but the *quality* of banchan and meat is *outstanding*. Parking onsite, but the parking lot is tight. We highly recommend this place.
We planned on going to a different restaurant, but it was full, so we decided to make our way to Palace. The wait wasn't long and there's a little backdrop if you want to take photos up front. We got the unlimited dinner and it is definitely worth it! The food was delicious and you can get whatever you want and however much you want! The noise level is what you expect from hearing everyone grilling their food at once, but not too loud. The service wasn't horrible, but not great either. Our waitress would walk by quickly mumbling her words, so we couldn't understand what she was saying. Just make sure you ask for what you need when they pass by your table. Otherwise, I would say it was a good experience and I would eat here again.
Side note: I wouldn't advise against dressing in your nicest clothes because they will smell of Korean BBQ after.
Jay was the best server. Every times we go there, we requested him. He is so attentive and kind. Thank you jay for your service. You are the best!!!!
Love this place !
Food and taste was very good...
The 2 of us tried the Buffet style choice as price was a few dollars difference vs Entree choice.
Buffet style would be best for 4 or more people.
Service was a little slow since there was only 1 person serving the whole Restaurant.
Would go again with a large group next time.
Good food and great service! Definitely would recommend! :)
We went here for Father's day and it was a great experience for my in laws who have never tried Korean BBQ before. Service was great and the staff are nice! Their cocktails are good, you have to try them!
A little slow after we reordered other round food
Hostess was always hostile and felt like she was trying to get us to leave ASAP by mentioning that the kitchen is closing and then she continued to mention when the restaurant closes which is at 11.
As always food is great!
All you can eat meat... that's all I gotta say
Even though they couldn’t find my OpenTable reservation, they were still able to seat us. The food is always good, we leave stuffed! The service was good as well as they always kept checking if we needed more items, and they changed the grill at least once, and offered to change it a 2nd time. One of the servers also helped us with grilling some of the food. The only disappoint was not getting the OpenTable points for the reservation. Otherwise, everything else was great!!
Decent, the meat was quite good, but the banchan left something to be desired.
The service was good. The meat was okay
It was great food
When we told the hostess that we did not want the bar-b-que, we were seated in an open area which was very cold and out in the open. We asked if heat could be turned on, but that request got no response. Eventually were offered a table in the bar-b-que area. This was warmer and fine with us.
My husband enjoyed his chicken dish. I ordered two dishes, an appetizer of paejon, and a spicy soup, both containing seafood. The octopus in both dishes was so touch I could not eat it and I LOVE octopus!
The service was quite friendly, but we were a bit disappointed in the above mentioned areas.
