A palace café signature dish! pecan crust, mushroom sauté, creole meunière
A Palace Café favorite! fresh bananas sautéed in brown sugar and cinnamon, flambéed with banana liqueur and rum, vanilla bean ice cream
Birthday Brunch was awesome! Cassie our server was wonderful, food was fantastic, and great place to people watch.
We enjoyed the atmosphere, the friendly and caring staff and the taste of the food. Ross was our waiter and he made us feel comfortable right away. He was knowledgeable about the food and also about the area. He was extremely attentive to our needs. The drinks, seafood and the desserts were of an outstanding taste and presentation. We enjoyed the turtle soup and the duck as non seafood fare. We love their French 75 as well.
Traditional New Orleans style food. Hasn’t changed in 20 years.
Excellent service. The fish and shrimp dishes were excellent. After a number of average to above average meals in NOLA, this one was by far the best.
Confident and eager-to-please staff, excellent food, great atmosphere, and won’t break the wallet. A highlight of our trip.
Don’t just look at open table call for a reservation they don’t put all tables on opentable.
Love the Palace Cafe. Always a pleasure. Courteous staff and excellent food.
Great food in a relaxed atmosphere. We have been enjoying this restaurant for decades.
Delicious food with a great menu. Service was top notch as was the food. The bread pudding dessert was so tasty.
We had a fabulous dinner! Claire, our server, was very attentive, nice and thorough. She was friendly and offered delicious suggestions. I highly recommend the bananas foster which is prepared tableside. The catfish pecan and andouille crusted fish are also our favorites!
Easter Brunch was nice, just crowded enough..the crawfish cheesecake is amazing and not to be missed!
Easter Brunch at Palace Cafe is my husband and i’s Easter Tradition. We love this place. The service is good the food is always good and consistent. The sights out of the windows can’t be beat. This is also our go to place when people from out of town want to go out in the city. They all have raved about their meals and the restaurant.
Great experience! Food was phenomenal and service was 11/10.
Fabulous food and service. They took great care of us especially with 4 kids
Food was good good but pay extra to park elsewhere. The restaurant affiliated parking at the Marriott took over an hour for the parking lot employees to retrieve our car after paying the $5 parking fee. Turns out they give priority to Marriott guests first but don’t tell you that which means that you’ll have to wait until all of the hotel guests get their cars first, even if you are in line first. Marriott’s parking lot manager interrupted his lunch to tell me to go ahead and write a bad review. Well worth it to pay extra to park elsewhere unless you have an hour or two to kill waiting for your car.
Absolutely fabulous food service everything memorable
Absolutely fabulous! We are repeat diners-we visit very time we come to New Orleans.
We finished our trip there. Next time we start our trip there.
The hostess and bartender went out of their way to provide top notch service. Our waiter also provided great service, even chased us down with our forgotten phone !
Everything our group of 6 ordered was good. Service was very good.
Loved the Bananas Froster drink.
Great meal and great service. Must try Crab cheesecake- it was the best delicious surprise! Add to top of your list when visiting NOLA.
Great to return after 16 years
Drinks and dinner superb, table side Bananas Foster always a treat
Beautiful interior, great service, banana foster cooked right at the table!
Very friendly and delicious place , we went at lunch hour but wanted steaks from the dinner menu and there was no problem. Thank you again for the hospitality. Definitely recommend!
We went to NOLA for good food and did we ever find it at the PALACE. We had to go there a couple of times within our 4 day stay. Food was phenomenal with unbelievable flavor and seasoning. Service was great and very friendly and welcoming. Rory, Nikki and James were full of suggestions and just super people. This place is a must.
The four of us had an amazing dinner here. Cocktails were amazing. Crabmeat cheesecake was to die for. Bananas Foster was delicious!! A fabulous meal with great service!!
Bad food，bad service，high prices，will never come back again！
The server was very cold. So much so that everyone on our table (six of us) noticed. The quality of food has gone down a lot recently. I can comment on this because I had dinner at Palace Cafe less than three months ago and ordered the same dish! This time I wanted to treat my friends to some good food. Guess how that turned out. BTW, if you are a group, tip is charged automatically which leaves you no room to protest no matter how poor the service is. This is the sixth and last time I am going to visit Palace Cafe.
Satisfactory. People in shorts and jeans took away from festive special occasion.
Nikki was fabulous and my family and I enjoyed every bit of our brunch. Thank you so very much.
Was amazing! We’ll definitely be back!
Delicious food! Great service. One of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in a while.
Our server Nicki was awesome...and so was the creme brûlée
Service and food were impeccable. Everything was great. Staff was very friendly and had endless recommendations. Will be back.
Excellent, traditional New Orleans food. Highly recommend!
Best part of the meal was people watching! Nothing was terrible, but not outstanding either.
One of the front of the house managers was wearing a see through mesh mask, which was a bit ridiculous.
There are better options for people watching while getting a great meal.
Excellent food and service. Wish they would bring back brunch and their Bloody Mary bar!
