Great service but the menu is certainly lacking in depth. Not the true Creole fare that we were searching for.

We used to live in New Orleáns but now live 4 hrs away. It is one of my favorite restaurants. I took my wife there for our anniversary since I wanted her to have a delicious dinner. You guys met all my expectations. The food was delicious. The service was great and the desserts very tasty. I already recommended the restaurant to some of my friends. Will definitely come back when I am in the area.

Went for Revillion menu. Told on ordering the item we were interested in was not available as quality of product was found not acceptable. Okay..substitute was described, after ordering waiter returned to tell us preparation and accompanying veg was different. Meat arrived over cooked (grilled almost to burnt on one side only). Service and rest of meal good. Management did acknowledge problem and Bill adjusted

The food was quite good. I had the Reveillon prix-fix menu. The Smoked Mirliton Soup was lovely. The crab and spinach salad was fine -- the kumquats are a nice touch -- but i guess i was expecting a bit more crab, or perhaps crab that had been treated more than just boiled and tossed around the greens. I guess it was all crab body -- white and not so flavorful. The salad also came before the soup which was a bit confusing. The wild boar was, that night, a pork chop, but it was a very good pork chop. And, although i'm really not a desert person, the pot de crème was quite nice.

I did have the sense that the staff was overworked that night. I understand that there were some problems with online reservations so that may have been the issue.

So: Overall: Food very good (soup excellent); service good but perhaps stretched. In the end I did have a nice meal.

Excellent food and great atmosphere. We didn't leave hungry, but portions were smaller... We didn't mind, it left room for the excellent dessert!

After a very pleasant and enjoyable dinner at Palace Cafe on 12-03-17, we returned with friends the following evening, 12-03-17. The return visit was not nearly as enjoyable. Particular complaints:
1. My wife ordered filet mignon. She and the waitress had an extended conversation about how well done the filet should be. My wife wanted something between medium and medium rare, pink to red inside. When filet came, it was well done, hardly any indication at all of anything pink on the inside. Although the waitress offered to bring a new steak, by this time my wife was hungry and did not wish to wait longer to be able to eat. The waitress did not seem very concerned that the specific wishes of my wife's filet order had not been met. She just shrugged it off.
2. My wife order ice cream for dessert. We waited, and waited, and waited. Finally, 20 or 30 minutes after the order had been placed, the ice cream was brought.

It seems that the restaurant does not have sufficient control of its services.

No matter when you go, or what the occasion, the food is consistently outstanding! The crawfish cheesecake in in my top 10 all-time best dishes list, and I will not eat turtle soup anywhere else! Thanks again for another fabulous meal for me and my special lady!

We were in town on business, but also met a cousin. Our server, Derrick, was phenomenal. He described the dishes, made recommendations, and made sure we were perfectly happy with our selections. The food was wonderful - just the right combination of seasonings and butter that is expected in New Orleans, along with unusual pairings such andouille-encrusted fish. We were not rushed, and we enjoyed a delightful evening of excellent food and conversation

This restaurant was horrible for brunch. Our order took more than than 40 minutes for Eggs Benedict and Croque Madame. It was cold so we sent it back. They came back 15 minutes later with another order and it was cold. This was our third visit and it was vastly different.

The ambience was good. Great service staff. The manager only visited tables of 3 or more and elderly couples . I always get the chef specials at higher end restaurants, but this time I should of gone with the regular menu. Sword fish was way over cooked by at least 5 mins( very dry and shredded texture). Not what I expected from the Brennan's. The over braised lemons in photo explain enough .

We came for Thanksgiving dinner. The crabmeat cheesecake appetizer was good but our turkey dinner was underwhelming. The turkey was dry, the mashed potatoes were cold, there were 6 very small green beans, and the dressing was ok. We have been there before but it has been three years. The quality of the food has gone way down. The service was excellent though.

The food was a bit disappointing, I have to say. We were there on Thanksgiving. I ordered the filet mignon, and my mom ordered the rib eye. Both of our steaks were extremely undercooked. I ended up throwing away about a third of my filet as it was super rare. My mashed potatoes were also cold. My mom sent back her steak it was so rare, but it came out the second time better. Her potatoes were also delicious. We ordered drinks about 10 minutes before we ordered our food and the drinks didn't come out until after we were finished eating, even though we followed up with the waitress in charge of drinks (not the regular server) twice. She kept saying she would go get them and then would disappear for 15 minutes. We ordered two basic cocktails. Very disappointing all around. The only good thing I can say about this place was our main server, Randy, was very nice and did a great job making our experience a good one despite the bad food.

The food was good as always. The service/food did not match up. I can not comment as to why it was occurring...but with our appetizers and main course we watched them set on a stand less than 10 ft from our table for about 5 mins each before they were served. We actually talked about getting them ourself, but could not as they could have belong to any table. But we did find out that they were ours. The food was warm, but not hot. They did not seem that busy but I can not comment as we had a great view outside.

It is worth going...but really need to pick up the service...the person that brought the food out could have placed it on our table just as easy as they did on the tray.

The service was disappointing. If you are mentioning a service team of three, there should not have been the situation I found myself in. At no point after receiving my first drink was I offered a second drink. Once the glass was empty it just sat on the table without notice. Then I drank all of my water and this glass remained empty until the end of my main course.

The food is excellent but the service leaves much to be desired.

Food excellent. Servers often nowhere. At one point, another set of servers at nearby tables took pity on me and took my order. Other tables (for the other servers) had bread and had to ask for that (instead of it being brought out) as well as water (other tables had carafes immediately). Food, however, was delicious, especially the bouillabaisse.
