Outstanding as always!!

The duck was so tough I couldn’t eat it. The fois Gras was so burnt all I could taste was char. The apps were good. The drinks were good but the entree’s were horrible.

Great restaurant. I can’t remember the name of our server but he was very accommodating and a wonderful server.

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The staff was knowledgeable and great. The food was awesome. The experience was beyond what we expected. We cannot wait to visit again.

We had phenomenal service. Everyone was able to find something they liked on the menu, and every dish was incredible. We particularly enjoyed our wines and desserts!

Great place to eat

This was our second time dining here. First time was absolutely amazing and the main reason we chose to return for NYE lunch. Food was far different this time. Drinks were lame, and over loaded with ice. Service was mediocre. I ordered the crabmeat cheesecake, it came out burnt. Literally. We sent it back and the next one they served was close to the same. The shrimp roumalade was a bit small for its price and mostly shredded lettuce.
If we were garunteed consistency, we would recommend to family, friends and strangers. Not too sure after this last visit tho. Beautiful restaurant. Hesitant to return.

Horribly loud on the street with sirens and sketchy characters walking around. The food was overpriced and looked like it had been made hours before and just reheated. Felt dirty. Would not recommend.

Absolutely loved eating at the Palace Cafe, so much that I came back a second time!! My servers were great- I forgot our first servers name but our second server, Nigel, was attentive and friendly. My favorite dish was the Crab Cheesecake but everything on the menu is amazing! Also loved the Green Goddess salad and Banana Foster dessert!

Never had to come back a second time to a restaurant before, but Palace Cafe was so worth it!

We visit New Orleans often, but due to COVID, had not been able to get back for awhile! We wanted to celebrate our return with a festive brunch and of course The Palace is the perfect place! Nikki, our server was amazing! ❤️ Will return for her absolutely! The food was perfect and we loved every minute, nothing short of excellent!

Holiday lunch

If you just order an entree you are selling yourself short. Every course wasn’t better than the last, but excellent on its own in wonderfully surprising ways. The service was excellent. It wasn’t pretentious, but it also wasn’t substandard. Great attention to detail and just a perfect balance. We didn’t feel like just another customer. The experience was memorable and warm from start to finish.

The 5% service charge was unnecessary. Most restaurants accept the charge as a cost of doing business rather than directly passing on to the guest so blatantly. I reduced my tip accordingly. Other restaurants do not have this practice!

As always, outstanding service and food! One of my favorites in New Orleans! They treat you like family!

Good, not great food. Apps and desserts were very good but main courses were kind of bland. Service was great! Not a great value for the price.

Visit Palace Café every year during this time. It never disappoints. We always do brunch and enjoy the live jazz but even this year without the music because of covid, it was equally exceptional!

Lovely dining room. Fabulous New Orleans traditional high end restaurant. We always come to Palace Cafe each year when we visit NOLA. We are originally from here and love their classic dishes and of course the banana foster. Quality and service us always great.

Great location, great food!

It was good. It was our first stop of the day for lunch. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. I just wish they would have wrote Happy Anniversary on our dessert plate for our special day. The crabmeat cheese cake was delicious.

We went for our anniversary. Everything we ordered was delicious but the BBQ sauce that accompanied the shrimp was exceptional. And the Bananas Foster is not to be missed

Staff was tremendous. Food was excellent— fresh, presented well, and very tasty. We tried a little bit of everything and nothing disappointed.
